why is kairi soo hated?!?! O.o

exactly and the most epic scene of the game would've had happened..and the thing is..most kids..if they were getting taken or kidnapped..they would get kidnapped!so you know..but i guess since it a game it doesnt count for a real life thing huh? hahahahaha

 

I don't see anything wrong with Kairi. She's actually one of my favorite characters..I just wish we got to see her more in the game and know more about her. However, I think its out of jealousy, and the fact Sora likes her. Plus, without Kairi, Kingdom Hearts might of not even existed.

I think kairi haters can go overboard. Especially the ones on youtube.
Like there was one chick who was like "SORA IS MY HERO. NOT yours kairi. MINE." And I was like wow...I never saw someone named aquaprincess in the storyline.....someone even called her a lesbian. >o> wtf?

Also, she's just a character. Like all the other characters..they aren't real.
The story was for kids, and I think the whole damsel and distress thing is perfect. Characters involving Disney, aren't usually dark and mysterious. There's usually only a couple of those characters, but the lighthearted ones are like kairi. But with people hating, it just ruins the whole kiddy thing! I mean, what if kairi is some 7-year-old's favorite princess, and reads all the hate comments on her? Or even meets a kairi hater, and that kairi hater was rude enough to yell at the kid for liking kairi? Yeah, that would be a little disheartening. :\

And I think the RikuxSora stuff is..ewy. I think Sora and kairi couples are meant to be. Sorry, but truth be told, its obvious sora likes kairi.

Kairi is not a Disney character, she's a Square Enix character. And from what I've seen from Kairi she's not like a Disney character at all. I just can't paint a good picture of her. Is she in love with Sora or not? Does she hate Riku or not? What is up with this girl?

She's alright though, but just like Sora, way underdeveloped. It would be a disgrace to call her a Disney character. The Disney characters saved Kingdom Hearts from doom.

 

We WERENT calling her a disney character..we're saying..she is in a game..filled with them..thus lil kids will play it..so maybe she had to be this way..if u havent noticed..all the princesses from disney all had to be saved my..prince charming..so i think they just took that basic and gave it to freaking kairi

She's a complex character. That's how all good characters are :D

Licensing-wise, yes, she is a Disney character.

 

Most people hate her either because they like SoraxRiku(or other paring) and somehow she gets in the way of this or She is not that involved in the plot of KH2 to even bother with her exisitance in the game(s). also, I'm noticing a trend of "i hate kairi because she stole sora away from me/my friend!" which SoraxKairi is loosely implied on the story. But, Kairi to me is a tolerable character after all she is not whiny, b*tchy, hoe, etc. she is just the female lead in a Disney/Enix game who turned out simplistic and not completely involved in the plot. Her involvement in the plot is very little which results in people not caring for her since she's not doing something eccentric throughout the whole game. who is way to underdeveloped like most characters in this game.

 

I don't hate Kairi.......but there are people out there that think she is a w**** because she hangs all over Riku and Sora.....

 

I like Kairi. thought I think she could use a tad more spunk.

I dislike fairly much. -_-"' She-- is a dame in distress, indeed. she has the most annoying laugh in the world, she gets both of the major bishies in Kingdom hearts. ( totally not fair! ) I honestly think she should've been made much more timid, but she teases, AND both of the bishies show major interest in HER too. v.v How am I supposed to like the girl that gets fought over?

 

Kairi isn't bad, it's just that people thought she didn't do much other than get kidnapped and cause Sora more trouble. I actually like Kairi, she's a good character, better than some of the others (-coughyuffiecough-). Actually, yeah, I think it's because it get's in the way of SoraXRiku fangirl fantasies. Although I don't understand why Namine isn't as hated as Kairi...

 

Namine is not hated because she does not get herself involved in other people's business. That is how I see it anyway.

 

Kairi is hated because she doesn't do a damn thing in the entire game except get captured and all that usual stuff.

Well, all she is really is a damsel in distress and I kind of hate those kind of girls. That's why I like a lot of girls from the FF series, because they can actually fight back.
