... But my point was that the Zelda games have been rehashes of OoT after that one came out ._. The exception being MM.

Also, Nintendo used to be pretty damn original and innovative back on the NES and SNES, I'm talking N64 and onwards.

And on that point, I can't argue, because I haven't played anything after MM.

Except for Phantom Hourglass, which wasn't a rehash by any means.

As was Link's Awakening and the Oracle games. The DS games were fun too, but not like the previous ones. <3

Chris was doing fine until he brought up Zelda and unleashed Kitty's wrath xD

I agree with Christhor to an extent (and that surprises me >>).

The Zelda games aren't all complete rehashes of each other, but most of them do have a similar formula. The games tend to add a small number of new features (usually in the form of an item), and graphics do change, story changes somewhat (though I'm sure you could simply add a formula to that as well). However, there are exceptions like Majora Mask. The games aren't rehashes, but they do have the extremely similar core gameplay. One exception doesn't mean it isn't similar. And that's coming from a Zelda fan.
LoZ's the only series that can make the same characters the main characters in every game and yet make them different and still be successful >>
