Will of Fire

Dai leaned back in her chair. That was just about the stupidest school day ever. She stood up and left the school, walking slowly, not really paying attention to where she was going.

 

Panzela walked into the house and Hiwatari's study. "Hello sir. What can I do today?" she asked.

 

she went back to the Ayume house "home" she called out

 

"Your services are not needed." Hiwatari said without looking up.

Dai sat on a bench and waited for her cable car. It's the only way... but I have to find the Black Wings first..."

 

"Yes, sir. Have a good day then." Panzela said, walking out of the room. Shoot. Of all the days I get a day off, I told Becky I'd be here. I guess I can come back at 7. It's not like I have to be home. She walked down the road, just following it anywhere.

 

Dai got on her cablecar and stood, not needing to hold onto the bar in the middle of the aisle. I just have to be strong when the time comes. I can't hold back Megumi any longer. I'll let her out without a fight. Eventually she'll think that I've given in to her. This better work...

 

Her hands started to shake when she was walking towards her room. As soon as she got to her door she started to cough and she covered her mouth as blood came out. "I-I'm coughing...bllod?" The room started to spin when her vision blurred

 

Dai got off the cablecar and started walking to her house. I better get ready for whatever my dad is planning. She went inside, not bothering to call out that she was home.

Hiwatari stood by the stairs. He had a crocked smile on.

"What?" Dai asked, annoyed. "I'm only, like, ten minutes late. Jeez."

"I don't care about that." Hiwatari said.

"You don't care about me at all." Dai reminded him.

"Of course I care, Dai." Hiwatari went over to her and put his hands on her shoulders.

"Don't touch me!" Dai backed away. "I'm just your little pawn. I know it so don't act like I'm not."

Hiwatari touched Dai's cheek. "Then accept it."

Dai hit his hand away and stormed upstairs. Bast*rd.. She thought angrily.

 

She started to call out names of her family members

 

Dai looked out a window in the hall. Soon.... I've just got to wait for the Black Wings.... Just a bit longer.... She kept repeating it in her head.

 

No one came to her calls for help so she ran out of the house and started to heads towards the Hiwatari house hold

 

Dai spotted Aki out the window. What the hell is she doing here?

"It seems we have an Ayume paying an unexpected visit." Megumi snickered.

"Do what you want." Dai muttered.

 

she stopped in her tracks before she reached the door That...presence...It's prue evil. What are they doing here? She wipped the blood from her chin and got ready for the worst

 

Hiwatari stood at the top of the stairs. He was going to see Dai but he felt the presence of an Ayume so he turned and went to his study.

Dai ran a hand through her hair. "Are you gonna do something?"

"I see no need to waste my magic on her. She weak already." Megumi said.

Dai went back down the stairs once she made sure that her dad wasn't around. Coward.

 

She went to the door and was about to knock They saw me already...last chance to leave...but it also is the last chance to prove my life... She knocked on the door and straighted up

 

Dai gathered herself and took a second look at the door to her father's study to make sure he was staying there. She went over to the front door and opened it. "Hey there, Aki-chan, what's up?" She asked, as though nothing was wrong.

 

Her voice was calm "May I ask you and your family for some help?"

 

Dai was taken aback. "Help? You're not being forced to do this are you?" Dai looked around for anyone else that might be there.

 

She looked down. "No one....will help me. I'm a outcast." She shook her head before looking back at her "Help me or not."

 

Dai looked inside, paranoid that her dad would come out at any moment. "Alright. Come on." Dai took Aki's hand and led her upstairs to her room. "What's wrong?" She asked, closing the door.
