Will of Fire

Panzela saw Becky and Dai talking and quickly stood up. She hesitated between walking away and going to talk to Dai.

 

Dai looked up and saw Panzela. What does she want? She better not try anything.

 

Panzela bit her lip and walked over to them, I will not be like my family... completely. I'll do what my brother would want me to, I'll... uh... do something right...

 

I've got to act like nothing is wrong. Becky-chan is here. Dai smiled and waved at Panzela.

 

Panzela shook her head at Dai. "Dai, I know you must hate me for what I did. But, but I just want you to know, I'm sorry. Whatever that is good for." she looked down and started walking back to her house. That's all I can do for now, it isn't good enough but, it's all I've got.

 

Whatever. This is why I didn't want to make bonds with anyone. Dai frowned and ran a hand through her hair.

 

Becky blinked, unsure of what had just happened. I should keep a close eye on them... Becky thought.

 

Panzela shook her head to clear her thoughts and held her head up until she got home. She walked in and went to her bed where she flopped down and looked at the picture on her table, the one photo they ever took of her and her brother. I wish you were here to kick my butt into shape, bro. I'll just have to keep in mind how you would react to my actions. She closed her eyes sang soflty to herself, wishing the night would go faster.

 

Dai smiled a nothing-is-wrong smile. "So, Becky-chan, what did you come to the park for?"

 

Panzela slowly fell asleep, still singing.

OOC: Megumi came out of Dai and Dai's father has something he wants her to do at 9. Dai managed to change back into herself for now, that's about it.

Becky looked at Dai. "Oh... I just went to get ice cream..." she said and smiled.

 

"Alone? Aren't you Ayumes always with someone else of your family?" Dai tried to keep a plain tone.

"You're just saying that cuase you wish you could be alone. You hate me, don't you Dai-sama?" Megumi laughed.

"Stay out of this. And, yeah, I hate you." Dai kept a straight face.

 

Becky looked at Dai. "No... who told you tht...?" she asked.

 

Dai realized she had let it slip. Crap... "I just noticed it." She shrugged, keeping her body language unreadable.
