Becoming Amazing​

Peter Parker was your average 15 year old nerd. He wasn't athletic, but what he lacked in brawn, he made up in brains. Unfortunately, that doesn't get you laid and it doesn't make you popular; if anything, it does the complete opposite. One day, on a class field trip, Peter was bitten by a spider. The spider had been experimented with the OZ Super Soldier Serum. On his way home, Peter found out that he had amazing spider-related powers. After he got home, he had a falling out with his Uncle Ben over his slipping grades and his bad attitude. He then made a costume and, calling himself The Human Spider, entered a wrestling challenge for money. The promoter cheated him and only gave him a small fraction of the money. Because of this, Peter found no reason to stop the burglar who was robbing the promoter. After all, it wasn't his problem...

After he got home, he found out his Uncle Ben was killed during a car jacking. His emotions in a rage, he chased after the culprit, only to find out that it was the same burglar he let escape! The ordeal engraved what his Uncle Ben had taught him into his mind: "With great power, comes great responsibility."​

Now calling himself "Spiderman," Peter became a superhero. He struggled to juggle fighting crime, school work, his job at the Daily Bugle, his relationships, and staying alive. Over time, he made many super powered friends in the form of the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, S.H.I.E.L.D., and many others. He fought many super villains, along with small time crime. Life was hectic, but he survived. Unfortunately, the spider DNA in his body soon resulted in a mutation. Peter sprouted four extra arms and became a giant spider monster who attacked everyone in his path. He was able to turn back to normal, but always feared the mutation will arise.​

Taking on Great Responsibility​

Now calling himself "Spiderman," Peter became a superhero. He struggled to juggle fighting crime, school work, his job at the Daily Bugle, his relationships, and staying alive. Over time, he made many super powered friends in the form of the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, S.H.I.E.L.D., and many others. He fought many super villains, along with small time crime. Life was hectic, but he survived. Unfortunately, the spider DNA in his body soon resulted in a mutation. Peter sprouted four extra arms and became a giant spider monster who attacked everyone in his path. He was able to turn back to normal, but always feared the mutation will arise.​

Now, three years after getting his powers, it happened, but in a different way. Peter sprouted his four extra arms; he also realized he could make organic webbing instead of relying on his web shooters. Even though he feared that he would turn into the Man Spider again, it never happened. He struggled to keep his extra arms a secret and was somewhat successful: The X-Men found out. Cerebro tuned into Spiderman's mutation and Professor Xavier realized what this meant: Peter Parker had always been a mutant! His powers have been dormant since birth and the spider that bit him awakened a fraction of them. Now, the rest of his powers were awakening. Professor Xavier sent Iceman, Peter's old friend, to retreive him.​

A New Enemy​

Iceman had called Peter ahead of time to tell him what Prof. X found out. Peter was shocked, but agreed to go to the Institute. He parted ways with Aunt May, telling her he was studying at a special instutition. On his way to meet Iceman, Peter was attacked by someone covered in flames. He first thought it was the Human Torch, but realized he was wrong when the flame disappeared. It was someone calling himself "Red Devil." Red Devil managed to beat Spiderman into the ground until Iceman came to help. Before they could tag team against the new mutant, the duo found that he was gone. Before Iceman appeared, Red Devil left Peter with a message: "I'm the head of the new Brotherhood! Tell your X buddies we're coming after them!"​

Despite the threat, Spiderman and Iceman safely made it to the Institute. Only to find that the Professor was gone, along with Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm. He left a message saying something urgent came up and ordered Iceman to keep things in check with the other students. He also left an apology for Peter and promised to sort things out once they returned.​

Now a full-fledged member of the X-men, Peter is struggling with the confusion of his mutation, the fear of becoming Man Spider, the worry of who Red Devil is and what he wants, and the wondering of where Professor Xavier is.​

He can travel rapidly along these ice-slides or ice-bridges by causing ice to form rapidly beneath and behind his feet, pushing him along the slick surface. Iceman is immune to sub-zero temperatures and has thermal vision: the ability to detect objects visually by how much heat the objects generate. He is able to fashion an armor of solid ice strong enough to stop bullets. He can transform his body into pure organic ice and to augment his organic ice form with razor sharp adornments to his shoulders, elbows, knees, and fists; reconstitute his ice-form if any part of it is damaged or completely shattered, without permanent harm to himself.
Bio: Bobby discovered he was a mutant when he was 15 and ran away from home to keep his parents safe from mutant hunts. He was discovered by Professor Xavier, who recruited him into the X-men. He was the youngest of the original X-men at the time. He has long since made peace with his parents and has been shown to be a powerful hero. He has the potential to be an "omega level" mutant, but his comical personality prevents him from fullfilling his potential. He met Peter ages ago when the X-men had a run in with the wallcrawler. Now an powerful hero in his own right, Professor Xavier entrusted him with holding the fort down and recruiting Spiderman while part of the X-men investigate something. He is known to be a ladies men and has dated some of his fellow X-men. He is also known as the class clown, rather than a veteran member.

He has had many different adventures and allegiances outside of the X-Men and is seen as one of the senior and most experienced members.

Bio: Throughout his childhood his mutation remained dormant until his last day of high school. Through out his years in school he had been a middle man, neither a jock or a nerd, the jack of all trades master of nothing and unnoticed by the spotlight yet not completely forgotten. Nether the less he was obsessed with motorbikes and the way the machine work was a system just like any living thing. It amazed him to no end. Unfortunately, on the last day of school, the bully of his year decided to beat one student to a pulp. The student was Rio. As he was heading home on his bike the bully and his gang jumped Rio and began mercilessly kicking him and hitting him with bats as well as trashing his beloved vehicle. Over come with sadness, pain and rage Rio snapped and at that moment awoke his dormant mutant powers becoming a berserk monstrosity and impaling the bully on a blade from his forearm. Realising what he had done, Rio fled the scene and drove away as fast as he could on his motorbike. Coming into contact with the X-Men member Beast who restrained him and calmed him down where his body mutated back to his human appearance. Completely upset and crying from fear he had murdered someone Beast took him to the institute and had him enrol as a student and one of the X-Men. Later in the week Beast showed him a TV report that the bully had survived as Rio missed any organs but now his mutant powers where known in his old local community and chose to remain in the institute without contacting his family.

His skin is scorching hot and his blood is a kerosene like liquid.
Bio: Not much is known about Dante, except that he calls himself the new leader of the Brotherhood. He has his own squad of mutants in it. He randomly attacked Spiderman and won before leaving a warning that he's going after the X-men.

"So...tell me again why I'm rooming with you?" Peter asked as he stood in the doorway of his new bedroom. The room was bigger than his old one at Aunt May's. Hell, it was bigger than the living room, but it was so cluttered, he couldn't see the floor. There were two beds, one bare and one with sheets, set up on opposite walls. He figured the bare bed was his. The walls were a light brown, possibly beige and were covered in posters of bikini-clad super models, a few sports stars, and a couple bands. Next to Peter's bed was a desk with a brand new computer on it. Next to the other bed was the same desk and computer, but books and papers were scattered about. The floor was covered in clothes, both dirty and clean, and Peter thought he even smelled rotting food. "I'm sorry," he said as he shifted his bag from one shoulder to the other, "I meant to ask why am I rooming with a mutant pig?"

Bobby couldn't help but laugh. He gave the room one quick glance and replied, "Shut up and welcome to Casa de Drake. And because we're out of extra rooms." He walked in and walked over to his bed, sitting down. "Professor X figured you'd be more comfortable with me than someone else." As he talked, he looked at Peter. He had seen many physical mutations in his life, but two extra pairs of arms on his friend just seemed weird.

Dante let out a sigh as he watched the clouds. He was laying on his back with his hands beneath his head, laying on the roof of the new Brotherhood hide out. It was his idea to move. He found it extremely stupid for the Brotherhood to stay a spot the X-men knew about. "Oh well, can't blame them, I guess," he sighed again. The Brotherhood, Magneto's "chosen mutants," have been pretty inactive for awhile. Magneto has been gone for quite some time. At least, everyone thought, Magneto himself appointed Dante as the new Brotherhood leader. It's my job to toughen this team up so he can do whatever the hell he's planning to do. He moved one hand and reached for the sky, the dark red of his skin contrasted against the light blue of the sky. He stretched his fingers and then suddenly clenched it into a fist. "Whatever. I'll do what he wants. But I'm doing it my way," he said aloud, a large grin on his face exposing his fangs.

Kitty was dancing round her room, earphones dangling from her ears, moving along to the music. A science textbook layed open on a random page on her bed, although she had long since forgotten about doing work. Her door hung partly open, though she was oblivous to anything happening around her and completely absorbed in the music.

 

Leon rested up against a tree he thought to himself "well whatever the leader has in mind I will go with." he pulled out a dark blue book and started to read it completely ignoring just about everything else.

 

Kurt lay asleep in his bed, as usual, with his holographic inducer sitting on the night-stand next to his bed. On the floor was assorted papers and books, occasional food scraps here and there.On the desk was a math textbook, gathering dust next to the computer. Rays of sunlight were shining in from the window, glistening off of his dark blue fur.

 

"hmm, seems quiet today what time is it anyway?" he looked at a pocket watch he had "3 pm" he sighed "well i suppose i have to kill time for a while before I can have fun." he went back to his book but he was also walking to a building o make sure his powers would still be at capacity."

 

Mark Johnson lay on his bed, looking at the blank celling, an open textbook sat on the nightstand, "Dang it, I hate phycology," he muttered, as the clock on the wall ticked away.
Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, Mark began to place his breaths in time to the clock, and eventualy fell asleep.

 

Leon sat in a chair in a dimly lit room "hmm time to practice." he started weaving shadows around the room and eventually covered half of the building in total darkness.

 

"By the way," Bobby started saying as he stood up. "Sometimes, while I'm asleep, I tend to...uh...cool the room down a little bit." He remembered how his old roommate would heat up the room while he froze it. He constantly woke up to the room being covered in puddles. He carefully watched as Peter walked over to his bed, stepping over clothes, and laid his bags down. As one pair of arms started unzipping a bag, another pair reached in his pockets, pulling out pencils and keys. It was a strange sight to see; he moved all arms like Bobby could move his: normal, with no effort, nothing strange about them. "So..can you handle living with me? I'm sure you'll be handy to have around." He couldn't help but snicker at his own pun.

"Ha, you're funny," Peter grumbled as he pulled out clothes. "And I'm fine with that. Since I got these," he took a step back as his four lower arms extended themselves in front of him, "I've been able to shoot organic web. No web shooters. Unfortunately, I've been doing that in my sleep."

Dante laid on the roof for a few more moments, staring at the clouds. Then, without warning, he jumped to his feet. "Might as well do it now," he mumbled. His long tail whipped behind him and then whipped in front. The tip of the tail made a circle in the air, a thin stream of fire coming from it. When the circle was complete, the view inside was distorted, no longer showing what was in front of Dante. "I could get used to this power," he smiled as he jumped into the circle. The flame disappeared as he did, but reappeared inside the house, in the same room Leon was in. Dante shot out of the new portal and looked around. "Why is it so dark, Weaver? You're like a damn vampire," he joked as the flame behind him disappeared.


OOC: I can't remember if I put in the first post, but I don't have internet on the weekends so I won't be able to post Saturdays or Sundays. If you guys feel like posting without me, go ahead. Don't wait up.
