Would you still play Kingdom Hearts...

All these people saying 'ew, no gay scenes' stop and think. Its a 3+. There are NO love scenes, gay people or not. It doesn't really make the game any different, Sora just has a different love interest. Who is a guy. So damn what?

Sora and Kairi would be a good game outline for kids to get a wife when they grow up and doesnt show anything like gayness to children, the human race can continue so i would ban the game from ever being out there on target shelves. nobody would see my point though ._.:locked2: so thats why i wouldnt play it

 

First: Who is this we?
Second: There would be no "action". It's not that kind of game, plus in the real version the most we got from Sora and Kairi was a hug.

Gay and lesbian are both homosexual so that's really not a valid argument. :/
And if you defend that by saying KH is directed for males, well...take a good hard look at the fandom.

Personally...I don't even know if I would have come across Kingdom Hearts if it was like that, since the games I play are generally less plot-centric and more "kill everything now" based. I'm assuming it'd be classed under other genres that I'm not as interested in.

First off the question is pretty much invalid because I can almost garuntee that Disney would of draopped the project in this case. But answering the question anyway, I would have to say no. One gay character is tough for me, but all of them is just way too much. I've learned to accept gay people but I am against homosexuality so I wouldn't support a game that included a lot of it.

And since I know people are likely to argue with me on this: I'm not in the mood to argue philosophy right now. If you want to know my logic then shoot me a PM and I'll get back to you

I would still play Kingdom Hearts if:

* It wasn't based on the homosexuality, and instead it was still based on the storyline.

* The pairings they chose weren't creepy (like Donald and Goofy or something twisted like that).

Since it is a E+ rated game, I'd assume there wouldn't be any action, therefore I wouldn't worry about any of the action taking over the game. I honestly don't care if there's any action in something or not, but when it's all about the action without an actual storyline, forget it, I have no desire to bother with it.

By the way, I have no problems with gay pairings, be it mxm or fxf. I still have my own opinions about what pairings I like, I'm not a brainwashed fangirl that just screams over every gay pairing. Oh hell no. But, homosexuality doesn't bother me. I'd be bothered if the homosexuality destroyed the storyline. The gameplay would obviously be unaffected, but the story could be majorly damaged.

If the characters were gay, Sora couldnt care less about Kairi. Sora and Riku would be double dating with Donald and Goofy if they were gay.
