WTH I Wasn't Accepted At My New School

I found out that my new school left a message for me last night on my house phone saying that I wasn't accepted for the AEWC program! Like WTH they tell me that my parents should be proud of me for making it into the 11th grade level, and they make me get clearance and checkout out of my old school, for what? A call saying I didn't make it?

My parents now have to talk to a social worker to ask what other programs may be available for me. I was so sure that I was accepted, I already told all my friends, what do I say now?

I feel so embarrassed right now, I can't take it. I can't believe that my coordinator ensured me that the program was exactly for me and that I would be accepted.

Spring break just started, and all schools are closed, my first day for my new program was supposed to be on the 9th, but I guess I have to wait a few more weeks or so until I finally get to sit in a classroom and learn something interesting. :(
