X-men: Hold fast

Nora's eyes shot open when she heard a scream. She sat upright on the bed. Must have fallen asleep.... she thought.
"Who was that?" she mumbled to herself, remembering the scream that woke her. She walked over to her dorm door and opened it slowly and silently. She peered out, but she could see anything from this angle.

 

Deadpool immediatly took out his gun and shot it at the door almost hitting Nora "hmm it looks like somebody else has joined the party" Deadpool said

 

The gunshot sounded like a million tiny explosions to Jasmine. Her fear sent her powers out of control. Doors in the hall slammed open, the curtains fluttered wildly. Jasmine's telekinesis gripped everyone to a stand still. She stepped away from Rogue.

 

"Jasmine..." Wolverine rasped, his eyes staring in her direction. "C-calm down, jasmine..." he cooed in a calm voice. Wolfe's snarling didn't help, but he knew that it would help once she was unleashed upon these invaders.

Wolfe froze, her eyes still locked on the gun wielder. she had always hated guns, and knew that this guy wanted to hurt someone that was from inside this place... and that isn't good.

 

Deadpool put away his gun and crossed his arms "don't take it personal. Its just business" Deadpool said looking Jasmine

 

"Is this the "cutting business"?" Bane asked with a faint smile.

 

Jake saw Jasmine step away from Rogue and was next to Jasmine in less than a second. He held Jasmine's arms behind her back with one hand and a knife to her throat with the other. "You always were slower than me." He smirked at Logan, then whipsered into Jasmine's ear, "Now... Jasmine, right? We need your help. It would be so much nicer if you'd just come with us. You don't want to hurt any one, do you?"

 

The doors and curtains settled down. Jasmine met Logan's eyes. She was terrified, but she had to control herself. She knew that Jake was right, she could hurt someone. She dared not move, fearing one twitch of her finger could cause something harmful.

 

Deadpool grined "more like "I want some money so these guys hired me to help" kind of business" Deadpool said to Bane and looked at Logan and took out his sword "hey Logan let go a round just like the good ol'times" Deadpool said

BIC: Eva trembled, trying to hold onto the glass. She couldn't hold on much longer.

Rogue narrowed her eyes, pulling her gloves off. This would be interesting.

 

OOC: My guess is we're waiting for timexhasxgone to post...?

Logan stepped forward, looking into the eyes of the masked intruder who had offered him to a fight. "We have new students here, and I wish you to leave immediatley." He growled slightly, stretching his metal claws out a few more inches until all six of them were fully shown. "And I must warn you-" he looked around at each of the students. "I will let them get you. and they will tear you to shreds, along with me, and rogue and storm." He looked at Jasmine, his eye locking onto hers, his thoughts screaming at her.
Focus on the knife. Bend the knife, kid.

Wolfe locked eyes with Jake, her body trembling with the tension of holding herself back from tearing him apart. SHe could tell Logan had a plan, but she was so close to pouncing over at that guy threatening someone younger than her... Someone she seen as vulnerable, someone who she seen as a girl she should have took care of instead of herself.
Just kill him. the voice whispered again. Kill him now.

 

OOC: It's okay. My school has finals the rest of this week, so I'll be a bit sporadic. Since my brother's not here, I'll do Jake.

BIC: Jasmine heard Logan's thoughts, but did nothing at first. What if she bent it the wrong way? What if she couldn't do it at all? She clenched her teeth and tried to push back the fear. Logan had trust in her, and that was something rather than nothing. She focused her attention on the knife, eyes closed to block out distractions. She wasn't exactly sure how to go about what she was trying to do, which made the task daunting. Not a minute later, the knife shattered in Jake's hand, the shards fell to the floor.

Jake grit his teeth and glared at Logan. "What; is she your new favorite?" He still held Jasmine tightly. "Your new toy to play with?" He leaned closer to Jasmine and whispered in her ear, "He'll get tired of you and throw you out on the street eventually. Just like he did to us. You can't trust him."

 

With the shattered blade on the floor, Logan stepped forward, only to be overtaken by wolfe. He blinked, thinking back to her denial about her being "Different" and had a mental smirk.

With her body snapping into a speed barely visable, Wolfe jumped forward. Her hand was outstretched as it slammed into Jake's throat in a desperate attempt to knock him away from the poor girl. yeah. the poor girl that just shattered a damn knife.
The mental termoil continued, the two voices raging against one another.
Kill him now. The more sinister voice whispered. Rip out his throat. DO IT NOW.

Logan stepped forward, his hand flexed out as the three slick blades withdrew into his skin again. His hand was mere inches from Jasmine's, willing for her to grab him.

 

OOC: Gah! Sorry! My lunch is over! D: I'll post when I get home!

 

Rogue clenched her hands, waiting. She was reluctant to use her powers unless absolutely nessecary, and even then she was afraid. But if something had to be done...

Eva twisted her hand quickly, her glass shards connecting with the knife ones and making something half glass, half metal. Harder to control, but twice as efficient.

 

Deadpool started to twirl his sword around his fingers "so anybody ready to face me?" Deadpool said cheerfully. Despite all the anger around the place Deadpool was happy

 

Jasmine flinched away from Logan's outstretched hand. She had never seen him use his ability, and now, amidst everything, it was frightening.
