X-men: Hold fast

Gotta just let it go; it is in the past. I must move on. He walked in silence, his eyes focussed on the floor. Deciding to speak and snap the awful silence that had decended, he asked a simple question. "How are you feeling?" he asked, clearing his throat slightly.

 

"Scared and confused," Jasmine answered after a moment, trying to ignore Logan's thoughts as not to invade his privacy. The weakness of her voice surprised her. "I don't want to hurt anyone..."

 

"as long as you beleive in yourself, you will be fine." Logan answered, walking a little slower. "That is the key to this life; you trust in yourself, you trust in others around you and you trust in your teachers." he smiled to himself. "Man, I sound like storm saying that."

 

"It's kind of hard for me to trust people now," Jasmine admitted. "Especially myself... What's so special about me?" The question came out of her mouth before she could stop it. "I mean... I know I can do all this weird stuff... but why did those people try to take me away... and why did you and Storm go through the trouble of finding me?"

OOC: It seems I'm not going to be answered, though......

 

OOC: Sorry guys. I was performing tonight. ^^ IT WAS AWESOME! XD Ahem... recap, right? Well, Rogue is showing Nora, Eva, and Wolfe the grounds. Storm was guiding Jasmine, who has kept close to Logan. Logan managed to come up with a little scam to get them out of Storm's boring tour. Storm announced that Jasmine will be staying in Jean's old room. Logan and Jasmine are on their way to Jean's room right now. =D Good, yes?

 

ooc: glad to hear you enjoyed your night:D and that you performed well. And Magick, I couldn't post a recap last night because I was on my cell phone and it wouldn't le tme view the thread =[.
BIC:

Logan stopped at a large wooden door, looking up at it's maple texture. "This is your room, kid." he sighed, looking at her. "Go in there and get used to your surroundings and blah blah... Just, try and sleep." He opened his door and enetered the room, but stopped in the doorway. "Goodnight."

 

OOC: Thanks Garxene and its okay THG, I figured.

BIC: Rogue showed them the training facilities, the game and TV room, and the dining room.

 

Wolfe glanced at Eva, her eyes worried. "I don't have powers.." she whispered.

 

Nora had heard a lot about this place. She was in awe of it. Finally, she could be with her own kind; be safe.
"You wouldn't be here if you didn't," she whispered to Wolfe from her other side.

 

"I've been on this earth 19 years.... I should know....I'm just normal." she whispered back, swallowing.

 

Eva smiled, hugging the other girl. "They'll help you." she murmured.

Rogue led them to the domotories (sp?)

 

"Good-night..." Jasmine was a bit disappointed that she didn't get answers, but she figured she'd get them tomorrow so she let it go. She entered the room, surprised by its size, and closed the door. She walked around the room, not liking the odd feeling that she got from it.
Whoever had this room before me left behind a strong presence.... Jasmine though nervously. I hope it's just my imagination... She went to sit on the bed and wrapped her arms around herself. She was alone and scared, and still very confused.

 

"Listen up," Jake snapped at the Rebellion. "If we're going to use that girl, we've got to get her back tonight. We know what everyone at that academy is capable of, so I expect you all to handle yourselves. Storm and Wolverine will be the hardest to get past, especially Wolverine. Don't let anything distract you. Every mutant for themself. We leave in an hour."

 

Eva hummed, then smiled as she went into the room Rogue had showed her. She might have a roommate, but they would figure it out after their powers were evaluated.

 

Jasmine laid down on her side and curled into a ball. She didn't like being alone in a place she didn't know with people she knew nothing about. Logan had told her that she would be safe here, but that didn't take away all her fears.

 

Eva hummed, pulling out her music system and going to the quieter songs.

Rogue went down the hallway, looking for Storm.

 

Storm exited the office, the door slid shut behind her. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. Tracking the Rebellion would be a lot easier if they had a telepath that could use Cerebro. She had already come to terms with the fact that they didn't though and she was doing all she could to keep the Rebellion under her watch.
