Before anyone else bothers (or perhaps I am already too late), it is almost certainly a bad idea to defend your beliefs. Especially if you plan to back out later.
I'm not sure who's stupider; the comments in the video, or the comments here. Fortunately I have settled with the fact that the biggest percentage of the world consists of idiots, so most times I pay just the minimum amount of attention required in order to feel a little bit better about myself, and not let the stupidity get into me. Needs some pretty good skills to achieve that.
