    If you don't have the virus the April 1st then you'll be fine, if you do have it then what will happen is it will update on the 1st. It has been bred as a new form but it wont be released until tomorrow.

    To be completely honest, I am not worrying too much. If I have it then I have it, if I don't then I don't.

    Besides which, whilst it has the potential to cause major harm, I think to some extent it has been blown massively out of proportion. The internet is already full of nasty little monsters.

    A few places say that if you think you have it there is a simple way to check, try to go to a security page like idk, Microsoft.com

    The worm blocks access to security sites, so if you can't get to those sites it is possible it is as a result of the worm (or some other form of malware). That means though you are also blocked from sites that give a download to let you get rid of it.

    As for how to get rid of it I have no idea. Sorry.

    Watch out everybody, my friend just called me saying his virus protection thing picked up a file called "Con Test.dll" right in system 32. I'd advise everybody check to see if it's there since I'd assume that might be it.
