Mickey shrugged"Thats the way it goes Ocean...ask nicely and he might let you drive it."

 

"Heya." She smiled, closing the magazine and looking over at the newly arrived blonde. Her face positively glowing from hearing his voice.

"No thanks." Ocean snorted indignantly. "I'm not driving his 'Everyone look at me because I have a big car, and that must mean I have a big penis too' car."

 

"I got a new toy.."he grinned

Mickey snorted"why would a car suggest that?"

 

"Oh have you now?" She giggled, tilting her head to one side slightly.

"Because usually people buy them to look cool because they're insecure about some other part of who they are."

 

"Yeah...best model...well worth the money."

ooc-I had this idea at the wedding yesterday,that Summer shows up at say....Esmya's wedding repection or something....have no idea where it came from lol...what do you think?

"With all the money you seem to be throwing around you'd think you could afford to buy me something nice once in a while." She smiled cheekily.

After awhile of Elena talking about hogwarts and her friends,River had glazed over,nodding when he thought was the right time to do so,The glazed look also helped hide the fact that he'd drank more that he probably should have for being at a wedding...but no one was really watching him....and no one could tell him off,since he had turned 24 in october,he was more than old enough


"Still cant believe you let him buy that car Michael..."Lyra said,glaring at her younger son,"Did you teach him about money vaules? he pratically threw the money away."

"He's 24 now mum....I cant tell him what to do....He's not five.....and I'll be 50 in april....stop telling me what to do."


"Your gonna be 50 and I never will na na na na!"Maddie sang

"Shut up."

 

"I'm turning 50 soon as well, and I don't need reminding." Lake muttered, she loved Maddie and all but there were times where she could just murder her. Lake didn't like the idea of ageing, but she couldn't help it. And she hated that fact, and the fact that Maddie was still as perfectly pretty as the day she had turned just rubbed salt into the open wounds.

Hermia, who had decided that since River was drinking his weight in alcohol she was going to stay relatively sober, was sat next to River. She too had glazed out of Elena's never ending rant of school matters, there were things you didn't care about and then there were things that just made you want to die when you listen to it for too long. She hadn't been interested in school life when she was at school, let alone now long after she'd left.

 

"Never mind 50...im 52 in a few days."Cory muttered "Maddie...I hate you sometimes....age damnit!"

"she giggled"

"River....are you even Listening?"Elena asked



"Um..."

 

"Age isn't so much of a problem for men as it is for women. Once you're over a certain age people don't really give you any respect because you just become 'Mum', or worse 'Grandma'." Lake sighed heavily.

"He's too drunk to know which way is up sweetie, let alone listen to anything." Hermia sighed, glad that there was finally a chance to break the topic away.

 

"Yeah well....your not a grandma "Mickey said soothingly

"Yet."Cory grinned"from what Cadey's told me....River and Hermia are always at it."


"Pfft Im not drunk....hmm..yet."

 

"Tell me about it." Ocean groaned, finally joining in on the conversation that she'd been stood listening to for a while. "My bed and their bed are on opposite sides of the same wall. It's really, really disturbing. I hope she does get pregnant, least then they'll have to stop for like nine months."

"That's not really a nice way to wish a baby upon someone you know Ocean." Lake said, although her tone and face would indicate that she one-hundred percent agreed with her daughter.

"You are. Or at least you're one sip away from it." Hermia said, playfully poking him in the ribs.

 

"Am not."he laughed

"Im telling on you."she said getting up and marching away,she'd become the little madam since going to school,apparently she was the 'queen bee'

"River rolled his eyes"



"I doubt that would stop him....might give River a scare though and tell him to grow up."

"Mickey....your father raised four kids with me and still hasnt grown up and he has grandchildren now"Lyra said

 

"Someone has one giant stick up their arse." Hermia sighed, watching the drama-queen that was once the little girl she and River had rescued from vampires stomp off like a rattled five year old.

"To be fair Casey is a different type of immature to River." Lake said, not even attempting to defend her son. "At least you know he won't run off or do something catastrophic that could cause some seriously big problems that'll cause more then a bit of hassle down the line."

"I hope he gets triplets, then he won't have any time to do anything that might get her pregnant again..."

 

"Tell me about it"he laughed "It will hopefully wear off soon...like a phase shes going through."


"Dont Jinx him Ocean.."he said "thats all this family needs....triplets."


"You have a point there"Lyra said

 

"I hope so too." Hermia nodded. "She was sweet, and now... Just urgh."

"Well they've both got two fully shifting wolves as parents," Ocean observed with a slightly smug look on her face. "Maybe they'd have a litter of five instead of twins or something."

 

"Maybe she started her....you know whats...."he said then shuddered"why am I even thinking that?"

"One at a time Ocean..."

"Nah, you can tell she hasn't." Hermia said looking over at the young girl. "She'd have different... 'assets' if she had."

"It'd be funny to watch them try to manage it though." She grinned maliciously.
