"You dont know, do you?"

"Riv, he was injected with some of your werewolf genes....which they took when you first joined."

 

Hermia watched on, still not releasing her vice like grip of the girl's wrist.

 

"what?" Now it was his turn to be angry,his blue eyes darkened as they did when he was upset or really angry "Why would they do that?"


"Dad wanted the perfect weapon.....You were that weapon......past tense.....now August is trying to be it."

 

Hermia tightened her grip slightly. The growl building up inside her throat into a low snarl.

 

she yanked her hand free,"I'll give you two weeks River....then If your not coming back....I'll return to my father ..."she said"It was good seeing you....."she smiled"have fun....while you still can."with that,she quickly left

 

She quickly darted straight at River, wrapping her arms around him. "What was that all about? Who was that?" Hermia asked, once again an intense feeling of jealousy bubbling up inside.

 

"Summer Solstice,she...well she had a thing for me back when I was in the army....but I kept rejecting her...."

 

Hermia growled slightly. "You better hope you kept rejecting her."

 

"I swear to god I did....she's so not my type.....I prefeer brunnetts."he grinned "and people born normaly."

"she was bred inside a tank thingy.....a actually test tube baby....she hates it when i mention that."

 

"You better hope you prefer brunettes, I'm not dying my hair blonde for anyone." She said poking him gently in the ribs. "And she was grown? That's quite disgusting."

 

"I dont like blondes much....I'd dye my hair but my grandmother wont let me....keeps saying I wouldnt suit anyother colour."he grinned"It is...."

 

"Well I like you blonde, it's sexy." She grinned, reaching up and ruffling his hair playfully. After grinning for a couple more minutes her face stiffened slightly. "Why didn't you tell me about her...?"

 

" I didnt think it was important..."

 

"You never tell me anything about what happened there... And I think when she's showing up at your cousin's wedding it's kind of obvious that something somewhere was important."

 

"She wasnt important...nothing happened....she's just trying to get me back."

 

"You promise...?" She asked looking up at him, her eyes shining with a vulnerability that hadn't shown through before. Except in the brief moment when River had first shown up again.

 

"Promise." He said grinning

 

"Good..." She replied, smiling faintly.
