"Good... Let's go..." She said letting go and moving to stand up.

 

he nodded grabbing his car keys

 

"Hermia, you coming?" She said softly, looking at the still sniffling figure hunched up in the corner of the sofa.

"Y-Yeah..." She mumbled, carefully uncurling and standing up. She swayed slightly as though she couldn't quite support herself.

 

Mickey took hold of her upper arm incase she should fall

 

"Thanks..." she muttered quietly, her voice a hoarse whisper.

 

he smiled weakly before leading her out to the car

 

Lake followed quickly after them, as though she was worried that she'd be left behind.

Hermia climbed into the back of the car, once again curling up as much as possible.

 

he climbed in the drivers seat while Elena climbed in beside Hermia.

 

Lake quickly got into the front of the car and did up her seat belt. "Let's go already." She said, looking at Mickey.

 

Mickey pulled away,driving faster than he normally did,but he wanted to get to his son faster

"Hermia?"Elena asked quietly"Are you ok?"

 

"I guess..." She said quietly. She didn't even really know how she was any more, her emotions were still running riot inside her.

 

she sighed looking out the window


Once,they had made it to the hospital and had parked the car,Mickey imediatly looked for his son's room


He's in room 209 Dad."Elena said looking at the chart.

 

Hermia looked around quickly, desperate to find the room. The second she saw the sign showing the direction to the rooms in the 200s she sped off as fast as possible.

Ocean wandered down the corridor, quickly darting out of the way of the speeding Hermia. "Hey." She said looking down the hallway at her family and waving slightly.

 

"Hi Ocean...how is he?"


River was sitting up in the hospital bed,looking bored out of his mind but tired at the same time,he absently picked threads off the thin sheets

 

"He's fine, just as obnoxious as ever." She said, grinning slightly. "Didn't half give everyone a fright though."

Hermia stopped by his room's door and pushed the door open as she stepped inside. Once in she stood by the door for a moment, tears welling up in her eyes once again. Then she suddenly dove at him, holding onto him tightly and burying her face in his shoulder.

 

"I almost had a full stale heart attack"Mickey said "But at least he's ok."


"whoa....Ow Hermia....Its ok..."he said as he hugged her,wincing slightly as the movement made his burns seem on fire

 

"Please don't Dad, I can only cope with one of you lot in the hospital at once." She giggled.

"Sorry..." She said, letting go and sitting up on his bed. Quickly Hermia wiped her face and sniffed. "I thought I'd lost you..."

 

He laughed "dont worry I wont."

"I did tell you I was coming back "he grinned

 

"Good good." She giggled. "Anyway, assuming Hermia hasn't hugged him to death, you guys can go see him now. Up the corridor and to the left."

Hermia laughed weakly through a quiet sob as she wiped her face again. "You really scared me..."
