You cant hide forever

"Ok thanks Ocean."he said smiling

"sorry..."he said sheepishly,he then reached up to scratch above his eyebrow,"who knew stichtes were so ichy.."he muttered,most of his injuries were just bad burns from the explosion,but there a a burise on his left cheek and one on his neck as if someone had stamped on him,if he was to take his shirt off,there would be a long bruise,like he'd been wacked with a pole,on his chest and back,his most minor injury seemed to be the cut lip and black eye

 

"You're welcome." She smiled. "Now, I need to get back to work. See you guys later." Ocean nodded, quickly heading off again.

"Anyway, are you okay...? What happened...?"

 

"See you later"he said


"Well...I did go down to talk but August caught me first....and he likes to play before he kills so in all honsety? He kicked the sh*t outta me before he hit me against something too hard that set off the explosion."

 

Hermia made a tiny, pathetic whimpering noise and hugged him again, this time being more careful.

 

He smiled slightly as he hugged her back" Dont worry....I'll heal..."

 

"You better be..." She muttered, still holding onto him.

 

he chuckled

Mickey stuck his head in the door "You gave us a scare..."

 

Lake rushed over to her son and also flung her arms around him. "Scare isn't even the start of it." She said.

 

"Sorry..."he said again "I didnt mean to upset anyone."


Elena sat down at the bottom of his bed"You look a mess."

 

Hermia slowly removed her grip on him and nodded in agreement with Elena.

"Are you okay? What happened?" Lake asked, still hugging her son tightly.

 

"August caught me before I could get to his dad....and lets just say he wasnt gentle....but I think he hit a pipe of something because next thing I know the place is exploding then I wake up here."he said

" He did this to you?"Mickey said


River nodded

 

"You really need to keep away from those people River..." Lake sighed.

 

"I wont need too...August probably killed most of them...not to mention himself."


"We thought you were dead River....what if they arent?"

 

"If you survived there's every chance they did. And now they're going to be p*ssed off as hell." Hermia said, brushing her hair behind her ear.

 

" they think Im dead."he said

 

"It might only be a question of time before they realise how wrong they are though, and let's face it you're not exactly brilliant at keeping a low profile." Lake sighed.

 

"I can keep a low profile....I'll dye my hair and stuff too."

 

"Well, that might be a bit extreme. Just get a hair cut and that'd work I expect." Hermia said quickly, she was more then just a bit fond of his hair colour.

 

"Hair cut?"he muttered lifting a hand to his hair,then he sighed,he suspposed the spikes were a little on the lng side

 

"Or just a change in style." Lake suggested. "That way you don't have to cut it that much."
