"Come on Elly...just go back to sleep....I'll wake you if anything happens..."Lyra said

He sighed,looking down at Hermia "It wouldnt be ...nice of me to leave you like this...."he muttered nudging her lightly with his toe..."I'll go get your precious boyfriends zipper...its in better condition..."he grinned clearly imaging things about her.

 

"What's going on...?" Casey said, only just awoken from his pit of sleep.

There was a dull thud on the top of the van. "You know, it's impolite to perv on other people's girlfriends." Came a snarl. Due to Lake not expecting the extra load with the apperation Jacob had been dropped before the target landing spot. He jumped off of the vehicle as viciously as possible and onto August, quickly landing a punch on the exact area that Hermia had mauled.

 

"They came for River tonight."Lyra said setting Ocena in the arm chair "Lake went back and Jacob managed to grab her just as she left."


"Five werewolves now? Oh my mother will have a feild day with these stupid experiments."August said catching hold of Jacob"Hold still Kiddo and it wont hurt."

 

"You're kidding me...?" Casey said, not wanting to believe that Jacob had done something so reckless.

"GET OFF OF ME!" Jacob snarled, struggling against the older wolf with surprising strength.

 

"Hold still! "he grunted the needle between his teeth "Summer....get the other one!"

"No....Im not."Lyra said "Im calling Maddie....the vampires will help out."

 

Jacob growled and bite August's arm as deeply as possible. He could taste the iron on blood on his tongue almost immediately. He wasn't going down without a fight for anything.

"I hope they get there in time..."

 

"You little sh*t!"he snarled finaly just sticking the needle into Jacob's shoulder.

Summer got out of the truck,moving out the way as two more carried Mickey and Hermia into the back "Too many for you to handle big brother? cant even take down a child? Pathetic."

Jacob howled in pain through the mouthful of arm, which he tried to bite down even harder still into. Though as the drug took effect the bite became weaker and weaker.

Casey sighed and ruffled his bed-hair. "I don't want to have to explain this to Immy..."

 

August gritted his teeth as he painfully pulled his arm free,before setting Jacob with the rest,"Ah...."he hissed "One more and we can get out of here.."he said looking at Lake.


"We're going to have to....she'll wounder where her son is..."

 

Lake was charging down the garden as fast as possible, although she wasn't in her wolf form. Something had been happening out there and she didn't want to shift prematurely.

"I call not telling her."

 

she sighed "Fine...I'll tell her...you call Maddie...Is She still asleep?"

"Shut up..."he said before smiling "Think she'll come quietly...or by force?"

 

Casey nodded. "She could sleep through a earthquake."

Lake growled and lunged at the boy, compared to Jacob she wouldn't be a challenge at all. Lake was never made for strength, only for speed.

 

he snarled "Summer do it!"

she gave her husband the phone,patted Elena on the head,glanced at Ocean then headed upstairs

Summer,built for speed too,lunged quickly,getting the needle in the she-wolf's back.she smiled

 

Lake received the jab with a tiny squeak before collapsing onto the floor.

Casey finished dialling the number and waited for a reply, as that branch of the family didn't sleep he was guaranteed and answer.

Immy was curled up in a ball in the middle of the double bed in her room.

 

"Job done"he grinned lifting Lake up

"Hello?"Maddie said answering the phone

Lyra knocked on the door.

 

Lake hung limply in his arms, her eyes vacant and wide.

"Hey Madds." Casey said. "Sorry to call you this late and ask you to do something. But they've come for River."

She remained undisturbed by the noise.

 

"Lets go."he said putting Lake in the back,hurring to the drivers side,his sister on the passenger side and driving away quickly

"Did they get him?"She said urgently

she sighed then opened the door,shaking her daughter "Immy....Immy!"

 

Lake, Jacob and Hermia all remained totally unconcious in the back of the van.

"I have no idea, all I know is they need help."

Immy yelped and and sat up. "Wh-What is it...?" She asked quietly, the jump having made her slightly out of breath.

 

"Dont panic too much ok sweetie....They came for River....Lake showed up here with the girls...then she went to help but Jacob went with her unexpectedly....he should be fine though."

"Ok Dad....we'll go see if everythings ok?"

"Wh-What...?" She repeated, her eyes widening with worry.
