It was the next day, the ceiling in the Great Hall was a dull shade of grey. And Adam was sat with a bowl of cereal in front of him and his new time table in his hand. He couldn't believe just how many lessons he actually had.

 

"Hi Adam"she said sitting across from him,fluffing out her blonde curls in a spoon,as if the mirror in the girls dorm wasnt enough"what've you got first?"

 

"Transfig." He sighed, appearing to look into his cereal. When in fact he was watching her reflection in spoon.

 

"Hmm...I probably have that too then..."she muttered dipping into her bag,looking for her timetable,she reappered "I found that nail polish I was looking for" she muttered

 

"Good." He nodded, looking up from his food. Adam then continued to watch her.

 

The doors to the great hall opened and a boy with brown hair walked in quickly,he was tall for his age and was wearing a hufflepuff uniform,he was quite good looking.

Elena,who's started painting her nails,had looked up at the newcomer and dropped the bottle,spilling it all over the table "who....is...that?"she said

 

"Oh, that's Zack." He said dismissively, instantly taking a dislike to the tone of her voice and the glint in her eyes. He never liked anyone that she took an interest in, in fact it was pure hatred. It was a miracle that no one had ever noticed the out of character behaviour as by and large Adam was a very friendly person. "Some poncey git from Hufflepuff."

 

"Zack huh?"She said putting her hand under her chin "We could get on...the sorting hat was going to put me in hufflepuff...but I begged it not too...but Now I dont mind it so much."she giggled

 

"I still think it's a house for rejects from everywhere else..." He muttered darkly, poking viciously at his breakfast.

 

Moved to movies and media. That's where Hogwarts RPs belong.

 

"whats with you?"she asked

 

"Absolutely nothing." He said. "But I just lost my apetite." Adam added, making an excuse to leave so he didn't have to listen to her rant about her new found crush. "So I'm going to head off to my first lesson. Bye." He said hurriedly as he grabbed his bag off of the floor and walked off out of the hall, nearly bumping straight into Raye who was making her way in.

"Whoa." She said, jumping out of his way as quickly as possible. "Who spat in his cereal?" Raye commented more to herself then to anyone else as she sat down in Adam's just vacated place setting as the dirty bowl magically replaced itself with a clean one.

 

she shook her head,staring after him witha confused look "The boy must be on his bad week"she grinned "I just started talking about Zack."she nodded to the other boy"and he went weird."

 

"Strange." She said, giggling slightly. "So you've found yourself a new target already? You don't waste any time do you Elly?" Raye laughed.

 

"Malfoy's do tend to jump in.....and look at him...would you say no to that?"

 

"Not really my type." She shrugged. "Looks a little smarmy to me actually."

 

she gaped at her friend "You must be joking...right?"

 

"I'm more into the athletic type I guess." She shrugged. "I just don't find future politician types attractive."

 

"Suit yourself....then you dont mind if he is my new target then?"
