Fixed YouTube Embeds Display Issue

And possibly profile posts/status updates as well.

This has been going on for a long time, and the issue appears to happen randomly--sometimes it displays; sometimes it doesn't. The embed area will be blank, but you can still play the video: http://kh-vids.net/profile-posts/1228239/

Any chance a fix for this has been found? This is probably the most annoying bug. :) It's definitely an issue on Chrome, but the issue is not present on XenForo Community or KH-Flare, so it must have something to do with KH-Vids' current style.

Are you sure it's not something on your end? I haven't been able to recreate this. On both mobile AND PC/laptop I always see embeds.

Pretty sure it's KHV as they appear fine on other XenForo sites, like the official one, for example: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/embed-test.119364/

And they can't be played. When they weren't visible, you could click and play them.

I'll look into this. It does seem to be an issue with Chrome and Edge browsers (from my tests so far). Firefox is unaffected from what I've seen.

I've made some changes to the embed code and videos appear to be embedding again on Chrome and Edge for me so I believe is issue is fixed. Please let me know if the issue is resolved on your end.

Windows 10, Chrome 53.0.2785.116.

 

I am currently using Windows 10 and just checked on Chrome (same version you are using) and the video in the profile is appearing fine for me. So I'm not sure the issue is on the OS or web browser.

 

Works fine checking it on Edge, libregkd.
