Kingdom Hearts II Zexion still alive?

I don't have much proof in this, but I do have a theory. First of all, in KH:COM, did Zexion really die? I know it seems like it did, but how can we be sure?

In Proof of Existence, perhaps? Wrong. In that room in kh2, it has the cloaked Schemers grave, but no picture of his weapon, and the panel isn't red. The panel looks black, and broken. Could Zexion have come out of his grave? Did he ever really die? What do others think?

 

Zexion is dead for sure I think...
the only reason his gravestone wasnt red was because Nomura didnt want to show his weapon yet. He revealed it as being Lexicon later when Fm+ came out.

His gravestone is broken though and I thought a blue gravestone meant "open" or "alive." Since Zexion's is gray as well, I think hes faded away back to darkness.

 

Or perhaps Red means alive... and we have everything backwards...

But yes, he was killed in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

 

It's pretty near certain that Zexion died in CoM when Axel convinced Riku Replica to drain his life force after Riku had beaten him up pretty badly. It also shows he is gone in the Proof of Existence area.

 

He's dead... Get over it...

He didn't die! Since he doesn't exist, he couldn't die!

He faded back into darkness like all the other Organization members.

 

But if he died, why is his memorial/grave thingy all broken?

 

Nomura did it to keep his weapon a secret.

 

What DSK said. He broke off the top part to keep the weapon a secret and it was revealed in KH2:FM when you can fight him as a program. Nomura wanted to leave a little surprise for people.

 

The reason Zexion's grave or whatever it is, is broken, is because the creators of the game didn't want anyone to know his weapon, if he had any (not including the dictionary).
And Riku's replica just lifted him up by his jacket, so if people think he strangled him... well, they can just watch the cut scene. So actually, he shouldn't be dead. Except that the peeps who made the game probably meant him to die... Or stop non-existing...

I suggest you watch the scene again. Riku Replica hoisted him off the ground and his hand was emanating Darkness. He absorbed Zexion's life force and Zexion dispersed because of it. No, he didn't strangle him, as you said but it was strongly implied that Zexion was finished off by Riku Replica. The guy did cry out in excruciating pain or fear by instinctive reaction, to say the least before the scene ended.

 

No he died in Re:CoM by Riku

I have to Agree with you there because i think that the lexicon is going to be coming up in the future.Nomura hid the weapon because it will come into the story later on.

 

But his grave is the only one broken which could mean to things. He is the only one dead or he isn't dead at all​

 

Yeah Zexion can't really die because he doesn't exsist,so he may be alive somewhere.^^
