Alira couldn't see for the moment. "How are my eyes, that good two shoes blinded me!" She tried to stand up but had trouble with no vision.

well guys im in florida vactioning. internet connection sucks a$$. and im using my psp to access it. btw sammy has not been captured yet i say we let things unfold by theirself. its more interesting that way. and damn it. i dont have enough room on this thing to make a decent post.

Background- Robbie comes from a family of mages dating back to the war. His family have since been collecting artifacts from the war and storing them, keeping them safe from the evil powers. His family is friends with all the royal families of the human nations. It’s the duty of his family to find artifacts and any summon Crystals and hide them until the demons return so that they can use them to fight the demons. Robbie has been taught that the war was real but he doesn’t believe it himself, though he is very knowledgeable in the details and events that happened in the war due to his training. He has been sent out on his journey by the head of the family to find the crystals and protect them; this journey is also to act as a right of passage into the family. His family lives in Royalia and he travels with his companion Sophia. He can act arrogant and selfish but this is an act to hide his loneliness from growing up alone. In truth he is a caring person who hates to fight other people. He is personal friends of Tristan and Sameire.

Background- Sophia is a bodyguard of the Versia family. She believes firmly the demon war happened; this usually puts her at odds with Robbie. She was brought up to be the successor of the Versia family secrets because the family didn’t have any children, but they eventually had a son and she felt abandon. The family started to teach her to be the family’s bodyguard. She originally hated Robbie because she feels he took her place and that he acted arrogant and selfish. But one day Robbie opened up to her and told her that he was really lonely. She also witnessed him using his magic to help people even though it drained him. After that she dedicated all her time to protecting Robbie and has since learnt to put up with his arrogance knowing that he uses it as a shield to protect himself from pain. She currently travels with Robbie.

Weapon- Enix carries around many weapons in her position including two swords, one bearing a ruby engraved hilt and a clean long blade, while the other sword was forged by Cylian craftwork, it's blade giving a glowing iridescent gleam similar to that of mother of pearl and it's handle made from platinum. She keeps these weapons attached to her belt at all times.

Background: A bewitchingly beautiful young woman who's true past is completely unknown to her. Enix was born in a beautiful seaside city of Faunata, her mother who had given birth to the girl for some reason didn't want to keep her and dropped the girl off to live with a middle-classed merchant family to live with during her childhood. Enix had always felt angry at her mother abandoning her though but yet she felt grateful for having these family who were not her kin be there for her and love her as if they were her kin. Enix grew up in this family learning how to trade and work as a delivery girl for them, transporting goods from town to town when they needed. Enix worked as a currier for them intill she grew into her teen years and decided to work as a royal escort since she was so interested in the arts of fighting, battle, and defending. However the truths of who she really was always puzzled Enix and she strives to find the answers on who she really is, the only clue to her past is a piece of parchment that her mother had left with her when she was abandoned saying Princessa Enixema von Eclair. Enix thought maybe she was child begotten off a some poor concubine who only claimed her child to have royal blood as only a poor attempt to obtain wealth. So Enix stopped searching even though that still wasn't the real truth about her. As for Enix's personality, she can be a rather respectful and kind person when she feels the need to, yet she can be rather sarcastic and well collected for her age. She's usually the calm, extremely intelligent one and mature one but when people get on her nerves she can get pretty ticked off. Enix is very skilled and talented due to her eagerness to learn and take in knowledge, she is a expert on medicine, cooking, and playing musical instruments, such as the harp. She also has a very beautiful singing voice and sometimes starts singing a sad tune and graceful tune to herself when she feels the need to. Enix is very well trained in military tactics as well and uses them well in her escort job.

Ignoring Tristan's rude attitude, the cylain grinned and held out her hand. "Name's Veina, thanks for asking!" She said with an accent. "And your name is.... Tristan, was it? Hmm... that reminds me of a certain outcast prince. Funny ain't it?"

Narrowing his eyes and staring at Veina's hand as though it were poison. "Yeah... funny." Turning his back to the girl, Tristan began laying out plans in his head while heading for the nearest alleyway. His movement was abruptly put to a halt when Veina suddenly hugged Tristan's left leg with both arm.

"You're not gonna leave a poor little girl, like me, here alone now are you? Can't we be friends mister Tristan?" Pouted Veina.

Tristan arched an eyebrow, if he didn't know any better, he would have thought for sure that she was a child. "Little girl? You know, to humans, a girl your age is typically refered to as an old hag."

Veina grinned broadly before releasing his leg. "Ooooo, mister Tristan has a mean streak to him."

"WOULD YOU STOP CALLING ME MISTER?!"

"Whatever you say," began Veina, with her arms crossed, "Sir Tristan." Veina's grin doubled in size. She was going to have fun with this one.

 

ooc: Then I guess I will start on my introduction and try to get the hang of it.

A pine scented wind breezed through the trees, making the forest seem to sigh with a seemingly sad groan as the wind pressed up against the old weave of ancient willows and pine trees. A lonely fox howled and yipped someplace off in the woods, seeming to join in on the solemn chorus of nature. A loud earthy snap of a twig is what broke the chorus's sync as something came whizzing through the air and lodged itself in the tree's trunk just above where a young woman was hiding, shrouded in a black velvety cloak.

She only looked up for a instant, seeing that the a wooden arrow, burning hot with a bright flame had missed her by only a couple inches, but that didn't matter to her because now these lowly barbaric creatures had given away their hiding spot in the dark overhang of the tree branches. The girl reached for the flaming arrow and grabbed it by the flint covered tip, being careful not to touch the flaming bit of it, dislodged it from the rough bark of the tree,crouched down, and crawled through the brush in till she came to the forest opening right next to the location to where the arrow had originated from. And with all her might the girl jumped off the ground and held the arrow in front of her as the beasts that hid themselves in the darkness of the brush aimed their arrows for a second time. The girl put her lips together and blew at the flame of the twig as if she were trying to ignite the flame even more. But as she did the flame that was on the twig enlarged greatly, creating a strong magical spout of crackling heat as the flame made contact with that of flesh. There was a outcry of pain and distress from behind the bushes as a charred body dropped out from behind the bushes and out onto the dirt pathway near it, still smoking and the accomplice of beast ran off into undergrowth, escaping with its life. The woman blew the flame out and threw the arrow aside as she bent down to examine the body of the charred creature but only payed attention to the fine dagger the creature wore in its sash and she took it in her hand.

"Well since you are dead now, I don't think you will have any need for this, anyways this is a rather handsome item, I don't think it would very efficient to leave it out here to be scarred by the cruel mistress of the earth."

She said as she tucked the dagger into the shroud of her cloak, she then turned away from the charred body and head back out into the undergrowth, even though she wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere at the moment, she wanted to leave this place as quickly as she could to avoid anymore thieves and unwanted folk like that. The girl came to the spot where the forest opened up and seemed to halt in front of flat and tree cleared land. She could spot a large stone laden city that lie nestled off in the distance. The girl made a strange cooing noise and suddenly from behind her there was the sound of thundering hooves that came to a stop next to her. A large handsome black stallion had came to a stop next to her with a saddle still secure to it's back.The girl reached up to it's cheek and caressed it, she removed the hood of her should from her soft and smooth skinned face, her beautiful sea green eyes looking out from behind her platinum blond bangs.

"Good boy, you deserve a treat for being such a quite and patient darling while your dear Enix was away, but not till we get to the city, it's too dangerous to hang around the forest edge my dear."

BIC: The barn owl witnessed all of it. The girl burned the Leechers to a crisp. What was she doing here? She's not the source. thought the bird, without realizing those thoughts were not it's own. Keep looking. If there's Leechers, there's trouble. The owl continued it's flight deep into the woods. A lone Leecher, probably a scout, leaped from tree to tree. It's direction was back towards the unnatural aura within the forest. Don't loose him! came the voice in the back of the owl's mind.

The owl pursued the Leecher relentlessly, all the while following the instructions of the voice in it's head. She had to follow it. For some unknown reason, the Leecher was important. Under normal circumstances, the owl would have never dared to follow a Leecher. Leechers were bad. They would eat her in an instant given the chance. However, with the voice lingering within its head, this was no normal circumstance.

For an instant, The owl could have sworn that the Leecher had noticed her following him, but only for an instant. The Leecher continued to run away from her. Did it notice her or was it her imagination? As the thought cross her mind, she suddenly realised that the voice was no longer in her head. On top of that, the atmosphere had too pure of a feeling to it. the owl gazed at it's surroundings. Something was putting it's feathers on end. It was then that it noticed that it lost track of the Leecher.

The Owl perched itself on a nearby branch. It was feeling rather nervous.

"Normal owls would never follow a Leecher, would they now?" Came a raspy voice from behind the owl.

The owl leaped into the air, out of startlement, and took flight, except it wasn't getting anywhere. The Leecher had a firm grip on both of its legs.

The Leecher gazed hungrily, at a the bird, with its lidless eyes. A vicious grin spread across its face. "My, you certainly do look tasty." The Leecher openned it's mouth wide as it drew the owl's head towards his mouth. This was the end. The owl knew it, but then, the Leecher stopped short of chomping down on the owl's head.

A strange silvery creature stood on the branch before the two. It had no eyes, and yet it gave off the feeling that it saw every movement that took place around it. Something about the creature brought a shudder through the owl. The owl suddenly heard a whisper in it's head.

Your mind has been tampered with. Death is the best solution. Those words were the last thing it knew before the creature sliced the owl in two.

 

Enix pulled herself up a top of the horse and road out amongst the flat, earthy grasslands that separated the city from the outreaches of the forest. The horse marched slowly through the tall wicker grass as the wind blew over it. Causing the tall stems to bend in the wind and make a wispy sound as the numerous amounts of dry stems touched one another. A small lark chirped cheerfully while sitting a top a stalk, seeming to signify and announce the entrance of the lone rider and horse. Enix watched bird for a few moments only to draw her attention back to the steps the horse was taking amongst the grass. Enix for some reason felt a feeling of dread wash over her, but the reason why she did not know. Probably a portentous thought warning her to watch her back amongst the tall grasses. Enix was pretty superstitious, even for her skeptical and intelligent attitude. Even this omen was to keep her on the alert. Enix constantly looked behind her and down the back of the horse towards the grasses behind her, making sure she wasn't being followed, tugging on the reins lightly to keep the horse calm and keep him in a slow trot.

 

Robbie laid in the tall grass. He had finally escaped from Sophia for a few hours. He was thinking about what his family hadsaid when he left home. ow they said he was to young and he would die before he found anything. Robbie was snapped out of hie thoughs when he heard horse trots. He stood up and saw a toung woman. (What are the chances this girl will be to old for me to ask out?) he though to himself. "Hey! Hello!" he yelled at her, hopping she would hear him.

 

Enix was nearly scared half to death when she suddenly spotted this young fellow come bounding out of the tall reaches of the grass. Enix slowed her horse quickly, it made a small scream of fright as the horse itself was surprised by the sudden entrance of the man. Enix sat quietly on the horse for only a few moments. Thinking it over in her head if this man was for real or if he was just a creature using enchantments to disguise it's true shape and intentions for her. The wind blew upon her soft cheek, pushing her bangs into her eyes. The woman reached into her face with her graceful sweep of her hand and pushed them out from her eyes, staring down at the man with her sea green eyes. Finally she decided to speak to him.

" Sir why is it you are all the way out here in the grasslands? Isn't it a little too dangerous to be out here in this grudging weather in the grasslands? You know I do hear all manner of beasts wander them looking for stray children that wander to go gathering from the city to capture and consume. But I understand why they haven't attacked you yet."

 

Robbie eyed the girl, she did look to old, byt matbe she just looked older then she was. "I'm an arciolgist, I guess I mean I'm similair to an arciolgist" he said brashing some grass of him "Actually I escaped from my carer because I was sick to death of hearing her go on that demons will return soon."

 

Enix eyed the man still suspicious with him but decided to give it up. She knew if a beast were using such a enchantment they wouldn't be such a pathetic sounding man and would probably be something much more charismatic. Enix listened to the man go on about demons. She did hate demons herself, but she didn't have the time in life to go running around and chasing the creatures just for revenge. Watching the man babble she gave a slight chuckle.
" Ah how interesting, my occupation is that of a royal escort, I am technically on a short holiday, just traveling the countryside and avoiding the crowds really."

 

ooc: Most people don't know demons exist, they think its just a legend.

Robbie looked around, something didn't feel right. "I am an artifact hunter and an arciogist. I come from Melkine's House of Versia. It is apparently a demon hating cult that gathers Artifacts from the Demon Anglean war" he said with a smirk, hw though of how foolish his family was.

 

ooc: Enix is pretty educated and shes been around a lot so she knows about them pretty well.

Enix smiled listening to him contently, but her attention was stolen by the loud crisp crackle of the thunder in the gray pillow-like formations above. It was so loud that it sent a rumble through her body, making her shake from the sound.
" Ah I see, well I think It's best I get to the city, it seems there's going to be a lot of fire coming down from the heavens as of late and it's not good to be standing around in the path of destruction with all these pockets of water lying about. So tell me, are you taking house up in the city? Because if you are, we can speak later ?"

 

Robbie looked around. He couldn't see Sophia but he had a gut feeling that she was watching him right now. Waiting to get up him the first chance she got. "Sure no problem, I'm sure your better company" he said as he picked up his double ended sword of the ground.

 

Enix strode past him more quickly then she did previously on her horse. She was intent on reaching the midsts of the city before it began to rain and before the mud became to thick and dangerous to trek around in. Pretty soon after only fifteen minutes of treking, she reached the gate of the city and she rode the horse right in, stopping and dismounting her horse so she could enter a innhouse that contained a tavern within. The woman payed a coin to a small stableboy to take her horse to the nearby stableloft and he did eagerly after she encouraged him to find feed for the horse and he would receive more coin for his services. Enix entered the Tavern, taking off her long shroud and placing it upon a hook, revealing that she was dressed in a knee length skirt and corseted blouse.

 

It took Robbie half an hour to reach town. He was slowed down by the rain, though only light rain it still mad it more difficult to trek back to town. He entered the town. He went to open the door to the tavern but a crossbow bolt hit right above his hand. He jumped away from the door to see Sophia. Robbie started to apolgize to Sophia.

Sophia stood with her crossbow in her hands, another bolt already loaded and ready to shoot. She wouldn't kill him or even hurt him. She sure would scare him. She didn't even bother to listen to his apolgy, if she did she would end up forgiving him.

 

Enix completely ignored the fact that the man was nearly struck by a oncoming arrow and sensed the reason wasn't life-threatening. She wandered over to bar and sat down, waiting for the barmaid to come around as she did. Enix took out a book and opened it reading as she waited.
