It's a visual novel. It has an epic soundtrack.

It starts off as a murder mystery, and it then goes off into horror, romance and fantasy, while keeping a mystery theme. It gets extremely epic. There is little visual gore, but a lot of description.

The artwork grows on you.

There are eight episodes. The first four are in a bundle, and the second four are in a separate bundle.

It's incredibly creepy.

It's set on the traditional murder mystery location of an island trapped in a storm, and it initially plays out like that, but there's a big catch.

It's easily my favourite VN of all time, and the translation team is the best I've ever seen. They beat out any official or unofficial translators in terms of sheer quality control and speed released.

You do not make any choices. It's just a book with pretty pictures and an epic soundtrack. EP1 can get slightly dull at first. You should give it until the end of EP2 before you judge it.
