"Well, Darxess is 90% very serious, while Orb is 90% comedic (Thus making an odd comedic duo) So most of the fights are either very comedic or very serious......."

Things have changed now, haven't they?

 

Fortunately for Xegreny, being a unlimited powerhouse had it's benefits. While he was dozing off, his wounds had been healing themselves. Though, this ability did cost him quite a bit of strength to pull off. Yanking himself to his feet, he looked on at the battle. Xane seemed to be holding his own against the army. Better help him out.

 

OOC: Yes, just a bit. In fact, I think the situations have reversed. No, I'm not really here this early, I just came to see if Pirate had posted anything else after I abruptly had to leave.

 

"I don't understand....." Raijin gritted his teeth in frustration. "Why can't you die?!!!!" he sais through numerous precise slashes with his sword.

Xane had beaten down a little over one third of Raijin's army. That was saying something as that was a huge amount of soldiers and he wasn't unharmed. Despite his injuries he kept on fighting, though.

"I can take 'em..." he muttered to himself.

 

"It's not that I can't die," Xardius said as he stopped Raijin's sword with his index finger. "It's that I won't."

His eyes began turning crystal white as he stared at Raijin. "You asked me what I fight for. The answer..."

Raijin's upper torso exploded in thousands of brutal slashes, his blood splattering the ground around him, and hitting Xardius as well.

"I fight for only one thing," Xardius said, "and you'll never understand."

 

Xegreny walked forward, when a small glass vial fell out of his pocket, and rolled on the ground. It was that half empty potion he had offered Wukong. Good thing he hadn't taken it. Picking it up, and downing what was left, Xegreny smiled as the remainder of his wounds were healed. Charging into the battle, he fought his way to Xane, killing and disabling as many of the soldiers as he could. "Need any help?" He asked, as he reached his comrade.

 

OOC: If only Tera Roth wasn't busy at the moment; that and being incredibly stubborn...

 

OOC: Will the people who are writing Obsidian Sky intros please hurry the process on a little? I wanna start. D;

*waits for Pirate to post, so I can do something*

 

"Nah," Xane said while punching Dai Jee. "I'm good." More footsteps were heard. Reinforcements. "....Then again..." Xane said.

"I-I was weak," Raijin said backing away, blood spurting out his torso. "I was always to weak...."

An orb of blue flame slowly floated down onto the nest of eagles. Inside of it was a small eagle chick. It had a small cut on it's foot. Nothing to serious. As the baby eagle left the orb to join it's siblings, Raijin's eyes started to well up with tears.

"My ambition.....My ambition failed. My plans ruined." he gasped as he held his hand to his wounds. "I tried to change the destiny of the Dai Jee. No longer servants, we would be kings......" With a wave of his hand, Raijin released the barrier that sealed Xardius and himself in. "I couldn't bring myself to kill this eagle. It reminded me of myself. An eagle has to eventually travel by itself after learning how to fly and hunt. It may never even see it's brothers again. Just like me...*Cough*...."

Tul Raijin fell down, catching himself by planting his sword into the ground and leaning on it. "MY brothers and I made a pact to let the Dai Jee rule as the U.P.A once did. During a battle withe U.P.A forces we were bold and we fell into a trap. The U.P.A scum played a dangerous game of cat and mouse with us until I was the only brother left. I soon rose through the ranks and...well here I am now."

Raijin then wiped the tears from his eyes. "Heh. How ridiculous do I look telling you all this story. I've done to much to you all and the worlds to be forgiven or anything." Raijin then pulled out a device. He clicked the button on the device.

As Raijin clicked the button, the Dai Jee army stopped in their tracks. What was left of them. Xane had left most of the army sliced in two when he finished half of them off with Wukong's own technique. Another group of Dai Jee were blown to smithereens by an energy blast from Xegreny. When the remaining Dai Jee stopped, Xane knew that this paticular fight was over. He then picked up the still seriously injured Mellodia and walked back towards the mountain.

 

Xardius closed his eyes. "Raijin...Maybe you're right. Maybe you have done too much...But, you know...that's all in the future. Right now? Well...I'd say you're practically snow white."

Xardius smiled slightly. "I'm...jealous of you right now..."

He looked up at Raijin. "You get to die."

Without another word, Xardius walked over to his bandages, tied them around his arms, and began the long trek back to the mountain, motioning to Nulix as he went.

 

"Xardius, that line was awesome," Nulix said following Xardius, "So what? Is the Dai Jee done for now?"

 

"Aww.. Is that all?" Xegreny complained. "I just got started!" Kicking one of the dead soldiers, he muttered, "Xardius must have killed Raijin. Why else would all these soldiers stop in place?"

OOC:... now what? o.o

Richards and Raijin are dead. D:

 

OOC: The worlds still have to be repaired......

BIC: "I guess so," Xane said, looking sadly down at Mellodia.

 

OOC: We still have Veckeds final target, the Central Government.

 

OOC: Oh yeah.

BIC: Xegreny said next, "Lets go. Nulix took our ship and went to go help Xardius, so now we have to go find them.."

 

OOC: Not to mention the Brotherhood.

BIC: Xane slowly walked back towards the mountain, carrying Mellodia.

Raijin looked towards the sky and smiled. What would await him at the end.

 

*Somewhere, off in the distance was a smoldering wreckage*
*Inside it, an old man slept*
*Orb sighed*
Orb:"That stupid fool can sleep through anything, can't he?"
*Darxess snored*
Orb:"We don't have time for this........."
*Orb slammed into Darxess*
*Darxess rolled over, still sleeping*
*Orb shook himself in pity*
Orb:"I guess I just go scouting out the area then, since the idiot doesn't want to get up."
*Orb floated out a hole in the side of the wall of the wreckage*
*Orb moved to the top of a nearby hill and surveyed the area with his sensors*
*During his sensor scan, he detected the Organization*
Orb:"Finally! Someone else other than Darxess to talk too! I was about to fry my own circuits over his stupidity. I was locked with him in that ship for weeks!"
*Orb sighed*
Orb:"I guess that means I have to go back and wake him up, then."
*Orb snicked*
Orb:"Then again........I could just leave him behind."
*Orb smile faded*
Orb:"Nah. I can't do that. No matter how stupid he is, he is still a nice guy, simply trying to help."
*Orb smiled again and floated back to the wreckage to try and wake Darxess up again*

 

OOC: Darxess used to be menacing.......Now he's...... old man-like.

 

OOC: That is soon to change. There was a reason for his switched attitude. It was not natural aging that made him like this. There will come a time when serious Darxess shall return.

 

OOC: Doesn't he need someone to piss him off though? Like the knights. Or if a girl he likes gets hurt by a blind psychopath. That always gets Xane pissed off. And I e-mailed ya, Nulix.
