"It would work, and it sounds like a plan to me!" Nulix said, walking up to Wing and Xegreny...

    Wing smiled seeing Nulix.

"Well At least I'm not the last to arrive this time. How are you Nulix?"

"Excellent, never been better," Nulix said, "Where have you been, man? We just fought Vecked again, you would of loved it. And we meet this old guy, Sora, who's actually looking young, and now he's on our side along with the Ace and the Jack, and Tera Roth likes us again,"

"Um..well.. There's us, Vecked, the UPA, and the EK all working as organizations of Light. While we might not think they're doing any good, they do. There's really only the Brotherhood that I know of on the side of darkness.. so I guess it's kinda tipped in our favor.. I dunno. I'm not good at this stuff." Xegreny said.

"I'm sure i would have loved to have been there to fight..."
Wing said, looking at the ground, faking thoguhts of fighting Vecked.
    "I cant tell them..."

He looked up with a smile hearing Xegreny.

"Sure it seems that way, but think about it...the Brotherhood has been behind everything so far...so they are very powerful...it takes all of us on the light side to just have the scale nearly balenced. As soon as these knights are ripped apart and the UPA falls, the scale will dramaticly drop and we will need to fight the hardest we ever have. we'll need to master our skills, and powers, exploit every weakness, and nearly change everything about our fighting styles jsut to win. We're the last line of defence for the light. We cant lose is that understood?"

Nulix nodded, "Well, since were going to head off in a few hours, I'm gonna take a nap. I doubt I'll have much time to sleep once we are off," Nulix said, waving goodbye at Wing and going into a nearby tent...

    OOC: Gotta go.

Wing watched Nulix go and noticed that Xegreny had also left sometime during the conversation.

Wing raised his arm and Foux appeared.

"Hey, would you look around for me?" The falcon chirpped and took off.

Xegreny had been thinking. "Yeah.. I guess."

"Well... We haven't lost yet.. so I think we'll pull through. Besides, we already ran into one. He summoned a weak illusion thing and ran off! Some of them are extremely powerful, but not all of them are rediculously strong."

OOC: Check Obsidian Sky for my schedule; it'll help.

BIC: Xardius shook his head. "That balance theory might apply in some aspects, but there are some areas where it just doesn't apply. For example: Nobodies. And Heartless. Both seem to lie outside the district of balance, so I've come to the theory that it's not so much a balancing act of light and dark; it's a power struggle. Whether you're dark or light doesn't matter; it's your power level."

Xardius grabbed a stick and sketched a quick circle.

"Let's say this represents the total power available in the 'pool of power'," Xardius said, smiling slightly. "Everyone is born with a certain percentage, and then there is their 'ability', or where they can grow to. Mostly everyone is born with the same percentage of power, but their ability level is always different."

"Kingdom Hearts gave birth to every heart...in a way," Xardius continued. "That means that there isn't anything in this universe that can have more power than Kingdom Hearts. Now, for round two: Power is also a balance, because people with strong power balance people with weak power, or vice versa, depending on your viewpoint. So there you are. There's my theory."

Xardius sighed. "Of course, it's still rough. I don't even fit into the equation, because I can't find anyone as weak as I am strong..."

"So you're saying that once we reach a certain point, we can't grow stronger? Bah..." Xane commented.

Nulix walked out of his tent, hearing what Xardius said, "I really think your over analyzing this. All these theories about balance seem pretty far-fetched. Lets just beat the hell out of the Brotherhood and get out of these bazaaro worlds."

OOC: I'll try not to do anything too very important while you're busy having fun on your two-week long trip.

BIC: Xardius sighed. "Whatever. I don't really care all that much."

Pushing through some brush, he suddenly stopped, staring at the carnage spread before him.

In front of them, the Enigmatic Knight's swords and keyblades flashed and bashed against black-armored copies of them, ruthlessly pushing forward.

"Brotherhood," Xardius said, grabbing a crystal from his belt and summoning Chomper. "Just like before."

"Hey there," Skinnar said, tapping on Vecked's holding cell, "Court ruled in your favor, we can't kill you... yet. Instead, you will be put in a maximum security prison," Skinnar explained. "Excellent," Vecked said, "When do I leave for this place?"

"Now," Skinnar said, slowly unlocking the cell door, Vecked raised his hands in the air for Skinnar to handcuff. After Vecked was secure, Skinnar escorted him to a heavily guarded Gummi Ship. "Well, this is goodbye, Vecked," Skinnar started, "If all goes as planed, I will never see you again in my life."

"Thats nice," Vecked replied. Skinnar just smiled before leaving the Gummi Ship. Vecked sighed as five guards surrounded him and sat him down. "Its going to be a long ride," one guard commented...

    ***

Nulix shrugged, before walking off. So far, this whole mission felt kinda stupid. He didn't like teaming up with the Knights, they weren't necessary. An organization like the Brotherhood was too strong for the Knights to fight, or for the knights to delay them. The Knights were most needed back in the light worlds, with the fall of the Hojan Empire, the Knights would be needed to bring back order in former Dai Jee controlled worlds. Nulix sighed, ah well, nothing he could really do now...

    ***

Vecked sighed as he sat in the Gummi Ship; every U.P.A. Troop in the ship had their gun pointed at him. It had been like this ever since they had departed from Ceegum. Vecked swayed to the side slightly, trying to get comfortable in his handcuffs. "Don't move," A few troops said at once, pointing their guns into Veckeds arm, leg, and stomach. "So…" Vecked said, "Where are you taking me?"

"None of your business!" A troop yelled, hitting Vecked on the arm. Vecked ignored the pain and kept on talking, "Cause… we've been in warp speed for a fair amount of time now, if we where going to a U.P.A. controlled sector we would have reached it by now…" Vecked said. "Smart boy," A troop mocked, "Well your right about one thing, we ain't going to a U.P.A. controlled world," he said, as the ship came out of warp mode, "Where taking you to a place the U.P.A. doesn't even want to be affiliated with, a place worse then death,"

"A place worse then death. For some reason, I doubt that statement," Vecked muttered, as the ship landed harshly. The troop shrugged, "You may doubt that statement now, but once you've been here for six year starving with nothing to do all day, you will wish you were dead," The troop said. Suddenly, Two troops grabbed Vecked by the arms and escorted him out of the Gummi Ship. "Welcome to hell," one of them whispered into Veckeds ear, as they tied a blindfold around his eyes.

Vecked was then pushed a little bit, only one guard escorting him. He couldn't see anything with the blindfold on. After a few minutes of being pushed around, the guard ripped the blindfold off. It took Vecked a moment to realize that the blindfold had been taken off, wherever they were it was completely dark. Vecked's eyes adjusted to the dim light quickly though, the guard and himself seemed to be indoors, on the edge of a large pitch black pit.

The guard grabbed a torch and pushed Vecked into an elevator, "We keep the prisoners in order of how dangerous they are," The Guard explained as the rickety makeshift elevator went down. "Least dangerous on the top, most dangerous on the bottom," The elevator stopped just a few minutes after it had started off, "Your floor," The Guard said, pushing Vecked off the elevator and escorting him to his cell. "I'm pretty high up," Vecked muttered, "I thought I was considered a little more dangerous then most criminals," "Don't flatter yourself, tough guy," The Guard said, pushing Vecked inside the cell. The Guard locked the cell tight, and walked away towards the elevator. The farther the Guard got, the darker it became, until it was pitch black.

Vecked sighed, what was he doing? Wing had given him a perfectly good way to escape and he let it go... he wanted his fate to take control. But what was he supposed to find out here? Vecked sighed, and retraced his memory. He remembered back in the Air Country, that was the first time he had really trained, trained hard, trained to become stronger.

He remembered what Saak had always said, he always said that if Vecked trained hard enough, he could bring light to even the darkest depths. Vecked thought about that for a second before taking a deep breath in. He would train, here he would train, not for darkness... Vecked suddenly unleashed a large flame into the ground, creating a fire that illuminated the darkness of the cell... But for light.

OOC: Shivers down the spine Nulix...

The Enigmatic Knights had always been considered as overrated. After all, they had just been: "gather as many keyblade users as was possible", and keyblade users weren't always as powerful as they claimed. Often times, they had less power than the Nobodies and Heartless they were supposed to be guarding against.

The differing divisions were proof of that: Division 1 to 9, in order of power of keyblade users. Division 9 - Special Forces. Darryl von Kartte Tera-Roth's division. Division 8 - Offense. Highwind's division.

Sora, before leaving, had understood the fact that the Enigmatic Knights was needed elsewhere. Leaving Josh Tirode and Maggie Verox in charge of the other divisions to clean up the light worlds, he took only two divisions with him: 8 and 9. Divisions 8 and 9 held less keyblade users than any other divisions, numbering only two thousand between both divisions.

These two divisions were outnumbered a hundred to one: it was only logical that the twenty thousand Brotherhood members bearing down on the surprised Enigmatic Knights would push back the small force.

By the time the UO showed up, the Enigmatic Knights were surrounded. Bodies littered the battlefield. But none of them were Enigmatic Knights. One injury was the tally so far, and it was a sprained ankle from the walk to the camp.

    Only two thousand members.

Any more would have been a massacre. Within the first 10 minutes, the Brotherhood's army had been halved. Then Xardius hit them from behind.

The next 3 minutes would have been total horror for the Brotherhood, if they'd had any emotion.

By the time the 3 minutes was over, every single Brotherhood man was dead or dying.

The Enigmatic Knights were always considered overrated. But that was because anyone who'd ever met division 8 or 9 had died.
