The Ultimate Organization II

OOC: I don't know what to post right now...Let's try to meet up later tonight. I'll be in a more plot mode then.

 

Wing sat by the others, one knee up with the other leg crossed over it and his hands behind his head. He sighed and smiled.

"Hard to believe that we're nearing the beginning of the end..."

 

"I know, right?" Nulix said, emerging from his tent a third time. "So Wing," Nulix said, sitting down, "Just out of curiosity, in case we ever get world peace and stuff, what do you plan on doing with yourself? I mean, I know I'm gonna go to business school, and Xane's got... something," Nulix muttered, glancing over at Xane, "But what are you gonna do?"

 

Wing sighed, but still wore his famos smile as he looked up to the sky and let his mind wander.

"We'll I'll hopefully go back to Prism, and live out a normal life, get a degree and teach kids magic...mostly wind and twilight of course."

He sighed again and let his hands fall to his sides before looking over to Nulix

"But of course, being the Guardian of Twilight means that I'll never have a truly "normal" life. I'm okaywith that though...I've been a soldier for so long, I'm not sure I truly have the right to just abandon that part of me, or live a normal life..."

He smiled and layed back.
"But I will try to."

 

Xardius slumped against a nearby tree, listening to Nulix's and Wing's conversation.

He looked up at the dimming sky, and sighed.

Wing, you're more versatile than you think... Xardius thought to himself. After all, I know you better than you know me...you don't even remember it all...How could you?

Xardius closed his eyes. As for me...My future...

Silently, Xardius closed the thought train, turned, and stalked off into the twilight.

 

Wing watched Xardius walk off and stared after him, confused. he excused himself from Nulix and Xane's presence and lightly, but quickly followed Xardius.


"hey" he said quietly after Xardius had stopped for a moment. Wing fell into step with him and they walked in silence for a while.

"So my only real plans after this is all over, are the ones I made with you. We're going after Scourge right? Then you're going to introduce me to your girl right?"

Wing smiled at the thought. then a frown crossed his face.

"Wait...have I ever met her before? When I was a guardian maybe? Coa's memories are becoming hazy...returning to the other side of my heart...I find myself wondering what other memories have found their way to that "dark" side, if you will...Is there anything you know about me...that I may have forgotten?" Wing felt tears in his eyes, and quickly wiped them away with the back of his hand and sighed.

 

Nulix glanced at Wing and Xardius, before turning his attention to his black book. Lately, he had stopped writing in his book, he just didn't have time. But after the defeat of Vecked, Nulix decided to make the black book a priority.

The adventures of the UO had to be chronicled, and maybe, if the whole business school thing didn't turn out right, he could turn the black book into a UO movie script, and then direct a UO movie, and he could use "Inspired by a true story" in all the promotion for the movie. And then he would become rich and famous and buy a building and live in it and have it be the biggest building in all the worlds!

Nulix stopped himself. He was thinking too far ahead, right now he just needed to take the first step. Nulix pulled out his pen and began to write what had happened to him in the last few months, adding a small illustration when necessary...

 

OOC: Where the hell is everyone? And Nulix, my computer needs to be fixed. I'm not even using mine right now. So the script has to wait....And Darknight, you don't mind if I introduce one of the two Brotherhood members I made now, do you?

 

OOC: No, go ahead.

BIC: Xardius shook his head.

"You always know, you know that?" Xardius said. "Every time I'd get moody, frustrated, or whatever, you'd know...I guess it's your wind powers...or twilight...It doesn't really matter."

"Listen, Wing," Xardius said. "When all this is over...I honestly don't know. I thought I knew...but my heart's just the opposite of yours. Things I'd shoved into darkness are coming to light...and I don't know how I feel about them..."

"Memories...of different times...places..." Xardius punched the tree next to him. "Then there are the dreams...and they're worse than the memories...because in them...I don't even know what's real. I...I've never been afraid of anything...There's never been anything I can't conquer..."

He placed a hand over his heart. "Except in here. I'm fighting a losing battle. So when I think of the future...It's just like a black hole, sucking me in. All I see is Scourge."

"When I look back at the time we spent together, I can honestly say Wing...you probably remember things better than I do...But there's the dreams. And the past lives..." Xardius said. "I don't think this is the first time we've been friends...but I don't know."

Xardius turned away from Wing, and placed his brow against the tree. "It just pisses me off......Knowing that......in the end.......being a Phoenix......living through all the wars, all the pain, all the battles..."

Weakly he punched the tree again. "The diehard lesson of anyone who's ever been stupid enough to ask for immortality...It's not happiness...You can't be happy............I...I can't...be happy..."

His voice trailed off and he slumped to his knees.

"You won't be around forever, Wing," Xardius said. "One day, you'll die. You'll die and I'll be alone...like I have been...like I was..."

"Is it real? Is any of it real?" Xardius whispered into the night. "My life...Do I really live at all?"

 

"Its a great day to live, eh?" Nulix said, jumping behind Xardius and Wing, "So... I'm bored, lets head out! The Brotherhood needs to be defeat, the Dark Worlds must be ride of evil! Where are we going, whats going on, what do we do know, whats our strategy?"

 

Xane couldn't help but feel bad for Xardius. He'd never seen the old guy that unhappy before. Speaking of bad feelings, Xane felt the need to check on Mellodia. Xane had placed her in the med ward of the ship, so she could rest. If she was better, she would probably leave on her own like she usually does. Except where would she go? Her grandfather was dead and he hotel was probably destroyed in the war with the U.P.A. And she had no one to follow. Raijin was dead and so was Wukong. Where the helll would she go?

As Xane approached the med ward, he saw an empty bed. Meaning that Mellodia had got better and left. Xane then took a yawn and stretched out over thew med ward's bed, cracking his knuckles like he was about to face an enemy. He then set an alarm and took a nap.

Disney Castle was gone. It was unknown if the former inhabitants lived or not. Except for one. One that was determined to save the fate of his world. One had the strength to journey out and find help. The one named Scrooge McDuck......

Novice smiled underneath the shade of an oak tree. So the Ultimate Organization had arrived...With the Enigmatic Knights in tow! UYnder such circumstances he would usualoly have to report to Scourge, but Scourge probably knew of this little 'invasion' already. Getting up with a yawn, Novice decided to play around with these fools as Azull had before...

 

"Yeah, Nulix," Xardius said. "You're right. Besides, why try to be anything but what I am?"

Standing up, Xardius twisted to face Wing and Nulix. "So. First up, we get up into space. Second, we find the Brotherhoods' weaknesses and hideouts. Third, we crush them."

 

Wing saluted Xardius, his little mock two fingher salute that is.


"Yeah sounds good." He smiled and looked to the ground.

"you know Xardius, maybe We've been friends in past lives, maybe we were enemies, this whole wind and flame thing confuses me. But know that when I die some day...I wont be gone, I'll be all around you, in the wind...in the sun set and sun rise, the twilight worlds...I'll never leave your side old friend, and the place you'll always find me is here..."

he pointed to Xardius's heart.

"no matter how chaotic it may be in there, you know you can always count on me to be there....no matter what. my power will be yours...as always."

He turned away and walked some feet to an over looking cliff, below him he saw the battle scars etched into the land, with a sigh he let his keyblades appear and in a quick move was soring ou over the scared land, using twilight and wind to heal what he could.

"someday we'll cross pathes again...all of us. we may not know each other, but our hearts will dance with delight at being close to our allies once more...and if we stand on opposite sides, in the end, we'll end up together...thats what wind and flame is..." he said to himself as his keyblades fell from his hands and sank into the eath below.

 

Xardius looked down for a second, then muttered, "Thank you Wing. I'll try to remember that."

It's just like what he said in the dream too, Xardius thought to himself. Right before he...

Xardius clenched a fist. Hmph, that ain't gonna happen. Maybe that was real. Maybe it wasn't. But either way...it's not going to happen this time.

"I won't forgive you if any of you die," Xardius said. "So don't you dare. By the way, has anyone checked their cell? It's 12 noon in the light side, but here...it's midnight."

 

"So, the time here is twelve hours behind... or ahead. Anyway, Xardius, where too? Where do you think we'll find the Brotherhood?" Nulix asked.

 

"Let's see if we get ourselves a gummi," Xardius said, walking back towards the EK camp. "Then we head for the next world. The Brotherhood is probably in charge of every, or nearly every world, and the local world leaders are sure to point us towards their main base."

"The thing is, however," Xardius said as the group followed him. "The Brotherhood is invincible without their weaknesses. And I mean, invincible. There's absolutely no way to defeat them. So, we might be able to fight them off, but it's going to man-slaughter if we don't learn their weaknesses."

"Which is why I took the liberty of calling a member of the Libarian High Council here," Sora said, walking up towards the UO. "He has the ability to discern weaknesses."

"Good morning, er, evening," the Libarian said, bowing slightly. "People call me...Enigma. I don't really have a name." He frowned at Xardius for a second as he scanned the rest of the group.

"If you're looking for a gummi," Sora continued. "Don't bother. Gummi's don't work here. You have to use a special kind of material known as illium. It's the exact opposite in chemical nature, but it works the same. We only have three ships, so...try not to trash the one you choose."

 

Nulix looked Sora up and down, "Hey... wait, what are you doing here? Didn't you say you wouldn't go into the dark worlds without Vecked? Isn't that what that girl who basically told you what to do for your whole life told you?"

 

Xane stretched as he headed towards the rest of the group, "What's goin' on? My watch says it should be noon...Then again it looks like time switched since we got here. Anyway, who's this guy?" Xane asked, pointing at Enigma.

"Damn! A librarian! And from the looks of it.....He's Enigma! How interesting. I might have ta lay low for a while..." Novice thought from afar.

 

OOC: You have no idea, Novice...

BIC: Enigma stared at Xane for a moment, then coughed into his hand, obviously hiding a laugh...

Sora sighed. "I'm never going to live this one down...You'd think after I saved the worlds not just once, but twice...actually, it was three times, or maybe four...people would treat me with more respect...but instead, I get mocked, hated, and kicked around for stepping into the stage late..."

"I mean, does the US of A get smacked around for entering World War 2 late? No, they became a world superpower...Sheesh," Sora muttered to himself.

 

Nulix shrugged, "Well... World War 2 was in... the Seventeens? Maybe? Now its the year 2343, the fact that I even know your name is an honor in this day and age," Nulix said, "Heroes aren't remembered anymore, only the villains, only the conflicts. The only thing that is in the history books about the old world are the four world wars, nothing else. Disasters are memorable, heroes like you Sora aren't."
