Wing laughed.

"Well storage space seems a little pointless right now...unless this world is going to be our base of operations..."

 

"Wait....Why aren't we animals? I mean this is technically the Pride Lands, right?" Xane asked.

 

OOC: Your avatar's are above, Nulix.

Enigma shrugged. "What I always do. Gathering information to gather my long, laboring career as a Libarian."

Xardius grunted. "No more wasting time. I'm leaving."

With that, he stalked forward, bristling at the cold fog and looking for all it was worth like a wolf with a bad temper in a position that it didn't like.

Not anything unusual, really.

Enigma chuckled slightly, then followed.

 

OOC: Excellent, they look great Mr.36

BIC: Nulix followed Enigma...

 

"So what exactly are we looking for?" Xane said. "Or who?"

 

Wing nodded wondering the same thing as Xane...



OOC: wow sorry guys i'm doing horrible at RPing for some reason...

 

OOC: Don't worry. I'm pretty much driving the story right now, somewhat unfortunately...

BIC: Xardius walked through the mist, parting leaves and ducking branches (a thing that no one else needed to, as he was taller than everyone else). Grumbling to himself about the mist, he preoccupied himself with trying to read the swirls. He'd had experience in low-sense areas such as this, but it had been such a long time, he was a little edgy.

After all, the probability that the animals on this world were able to peer through the mist was high, and the fact that the Knights had been attacked meant they were hostile...

Nothing happened for the first two miles. Enigma mentioned that the cave was close, and then...

Xardius tripped forward over a root as an arrow whistled straight where his head had been. Simultaneously and silently, the bushes became alive with men in face-conforming, insectoid armor armed with swords and spears with blades as huge as themselves.

As one, they attacked...

 

"What the hell?" Xane shouted, taking a stance. He grabbed one of the strange warriors by the collar and slammed him into another. "Who are these guys?" Taking note of his surroundings, Xane calmed himself down and took out many of their assailants with surprising speed. "Figures we can't have a break anytime soon," he added.

 

Wing side stepped a spear and sword slash before back flipping and summoning his keyblades...the Twilight keyblade however, did not appear. wing was fighting with both wind themed blades. Knocking the soldiers back and out, afraid to kill them, because he wasn't sure if they were working for the Brotherhood or just defending their territory



OOC: Great....gotta go...sorry

 

"Bug people..?" Xegreny said mowing down several soldiers with quick bullet-like blasts. "That's more original than the man-eating plants!"

OOC:

Hey! I'm working on some kind of storyline thingy. It'll probably have to wait till after we finish off the brotherhood though. I wanna finish off all our older storylines (like this one) before we try anything new. >:

Plus...I've got like writers block, except with RPs.... but still! D:

 

*Darxess slowly woke up to find that he was completely alone*
*Darxess nearly cried*
Darxess:"Why does this keep happening to me?"
Orb:"Because you are an idiot, of course."
*After tossing Orb the length of a football field, Darxess got up and dusted himself*
*Darxess scratched his head*
Darxess:"Now, where could they be?"
*Orb floats back*
Orb:"I have tracking sensor that could locate them immediately, but since you tossed me, I having seconds thoughts on helping you."
Darxess:"That is fine. I do not need your help."
*Darxess wanders off into a nearby cave*
*Seconds latter, Darxess comes sprinting out of the cave in a full blown rush, followed by a pair of lions*
Darxess:"Orb! Help me!"
Orb:"And I thought you said you didn't need my help!"
Darxess:"Did I say that? You must of misheard me! I really need you help Orb!"
Orb:"Nah.......watching you run is fun."
Darxess:"You could be reprogrammed!"
Orb:"By you? You can't even operate a cellphone!"
Darxess:"I know! That's why its all the more dangerous for me to program you!"
*Orb thinks to himself*
(You know, he has a point)
Orb:"Fine. But I'm only doing this since I am such a compassionate being."
Darxess:"COMPASSIONATE?!"
*Orb clears his thr--I mean audio hardwiring*
Darxess:"Fine........JUST GET ME OUT OF HERE!!"
*Orb sighs*
*Orb zooms along the ground in circles, creating a huge cloud of dust*
*The lions loose site of Darxess and turn back to their cave*
*Meanwhile, Darxess has collapsed from exhaustion nearby an oasis*
*Orb sighs again and manages to drag him to a safe place to stay the night*
Orb:"I don't know why I put up with you.......Its like I'm having to baby-sit a child*
*Darxess snores*
*Orb sighs again*
*Orb pulls Darxess up to a nearby stream and prepares a place for Darxess to sleep*
*Orb however, did not need to sleep and decided to scout the area a bit*

 

OOC: Hey hey hey big news! Oxyrt wants to come back....can he? please???? lol


BIC: Wing tried his best to disarm the soldiers and then knock them out with Wind spells. Areo after Areo flew into the chests of the bug-man hybrids. Most staying down after one hit...others jumping back up only to be knocked down again and again.

 

OOC: Who said he wasn't allowed to? It's okay with me.

You just have to bring him up to speed. >:

OOC: That is pretty big news! And I hope DarkKnight doesn't mind me speeding things up...

BIC: "I'm gettin' tired of this!" Xane grunted, as he continued attacking the bug-men. "Whenever we defeat one, another one takes it's place! They've gotta be coming from somewhere......" Xane suddenly glanced towards huge mounds of dirt on the trees above them. He could see many more swarms of bug-men emerging from it. Xane smiled and cracked his knuckles, before striking the tree with his fist. The tree came crashing down on many of the bug-men. The hive that they were emerging from was demolished.

Unfortunately, there were three more hives throughout the forest. They still had a bit longer to go....

 

"Hmm. Xane, got any ideas to where the other hives might be? I can't do this forever." Xegreny said keeping the bug men at bay with a constant stream of blasts, mowing each one down as he appeared. Unfortunately, to put out that kind of energy all at once was pretty tiring for Xeg.

 

OOC: Oxyrt? The Oxyrt? Back? Back from... leaving the thread (and the forum) for a long time?

BIC: Nulix shot at the creatures rapidly, "What are these things?" He yelled over at the other UO members.

 

Xegreny was fortunately able to lessen the wave of attacks with the addition of Nulix's bullets. "I dont know. But they don't want us here that's for sure."

 

"I'm guessin' they're natives," Xane said, through gritted teeth. "And I think I found another one of their hives," Xane added. "Who's gonna try and take it out?"

 

"Uh, you do it. Kinda busy." Xegreny said, as he continued to mow down the bug-people. It was hard for his blasts to break through the exoskeletons and they weren't killing them in one hit anymore. "Oh forget it." Xeg said later, hitting the bug men with a chain reaction blast, knocking them all down, and crushing the hive that Xane had found. The bug-men growled and got back to their feet, enraged by the loss of another hive.

 

"Their numbers are decreasin'! Can't be too many hives left!" Xane shouted, as he fought through the bug-men. "There! Found it! Wanna take a shot at that one, too?"
