OOC: But it looks like no one did...

BIC: Xardius, meanwhile, was enjoying the chill night air, with Enigma, when Loki arrived.

"Well, hello, there Xardius," Loki said happily. "I wouldn't think to see you here."

"And why's that?" Xardius asked as Enigma looked Loki up and down. Xardius calmly leaned back against the balcony railing on top of the ilium ship.

"Well, after what I did to you the last time we met," Loki started, but was interrupted by Xardius' snort.

"Get it right, or don't get it at all," Xardius scoffed. "What you tried to do to me, and then we can go into what I did to you. You'd think to learn not to mess with me."

Loki smiled. "This time I've got your trump card, Phoenix. I know your weakness."

Enigma coughed slightly, and Xardius simply smiled. "Is that right?"

Loki nodded. "So just watch yourself."

Xardius considered this for a moment, then stood up and walked over to Loki.

Still smiling, he leaned down and looked straight into Loki's eyes. "Get off my ship."

Loki disappeared faster than light. And with that, Xardius decided he was going to bed.

OOC:Sorry I was off last night, went to see the movie "Hancock".

*Darxess sat up and turned toward Xardius*
Darxess:"Xardius, you may be powerful, but godly? I would advise you to watch your back. Just be careful, please."
*Darxess stood up and walked toward the door of the ship*
Darxess:"Where did everyone else walk to anyway?"

EDIT:Went for a drive. I'm back now. Anybody else here?

Wing walked into the Dining hall after watching Oxyrt walk from the ship, he had managed to get a new set of clothes...a lightly armored black top over a light form fitting navy blue top, black fingerless gloves, gray pants, with navy blue light armor knee pads built in and gray with navy blue laces and stripes on the sides and top.

He looked around the massive hall, gods/goddess' and various warriors stood or sat eating, drinking, laughing, arguing, some even began to duke it out over a Valkyrie, who just laughed and walked away. Wing then saw the massive one eyed Odin sitting at the head of a table, he invited Wing to join them, and pick any room he wanted. Wing thanked him and bowed slightly as he walked down the hall way, he saw that the others had begun picking their rooms and he took the one next door to Nulix. The room was painted a light green, with oak furniture, the bed was adorned with a dark green blanket and white sheets.

"Whoa..." Wing said with a low whistle. "guy could get used to this!" He placed his bag down and walked back into the dining hall and sat with the others at one end of the table.

"So, i heard something about a tournament?" He asked Xane.

Bella sighed as she looked at her own room a couple doors away from everyone else's. It was very warm with the dark red walls and mahogony furniture. It looked classy yet modern. She grinned, "Yeah, this one is definetely mine" She stood at the doorway a bit longer, before deciding to join the others, feeling a little awkward as she did.

*Darxess peeks his head of the ship*
Darxess:"I've spent years on the ship, so I don't think a few more nights is going to be a problem."
*Darxess stumbles slowly back into the ship and pulls out the folding bed from the wall*

Nulix sighed as he sat down on his bed. He really wanted to just sleep, but a light nap was all he could afford at the moment...

"Uh-huh," Xane replied, while chewing on some lamb chops. "They're holdin' one apparently. The only problem is that the Brotherhood's in it too. And you know that our enemies and tournaments are usually a bad combination."

"Yuck, yuck." Nulix said, walking in between Xane and Darxess, "Have you seen the competition yet? There are a lot more groups other then the Brotherhood competing in this tournament, and they all look extrodinarily strong. And by extrodinarily strong I mean on our level of strength."

"Yeah they look pretty strong, but as far as brains go, i think we have them beat...to bad the brotherhood is a few steps ahead of us or we cold take them too..." He sighed and took another sip of his water.

"Besides...i say we forgo the whole thing and just go after the brotherhood after the things over...who knows maybe they will be a little worn out...and easier to take on...besides while we watch we can study them and their weaknesses...let the watchees become the watchers kinda thing..."

"Wing, is 'watchee' even a word?" Xane joked. He then lowered his voice a bit and said, "Anyway, I think we got this covered. Or have you all forgotten? We have a trump card called Enigma. He can tell us our opponents' various weaknesses by combing his brain. I know I sound overconfidate, but I think we have an advantage."

"We do have an advantage, and thats why we will win," Nulix said, "Lets just hope Enigma's as informed as he says he is..."

"I'm almost completely sure we can trust Enigma," Xane said, winking at a Valkyrie. "Xegreny doesn't completely trust him, though..."

Wing swallowed a hefty chunk of chicken before replying.

"Its a word now..." He said with a small laugh. "And yeah we have enigma... but what if they catch on and something happens to him...knock on wood... We need to become self sufficient with their weaknesses..."

He took a sip of water and leaned back in his chair, catching a new fight braking out form the corner of his eye. He smirked and pointed his finger behind him and suddenly the one who was throwing a punch flew across the room. Wing just looked back at his handy work, folded his arms over his chest and smiled, pleased with himself.

"Your both right," Xane replied, washing down some fish with a jug of lemonade. "I think I'll go gather some info on the competition."

OOC: I gotta go. I'll be back tommorow, probably. Later.

    Wing's expression grew serious.

"Be careful, call if anything goes wrong. Remember they are strong... don't try and take a member on alone.

*Darxess was laying down on the ship, staring at the ceiling*
*Thing were quiet, and Darxess didn't like it*
    *Darxess sighed*
    *He missed Orb*
    *Darxess sat up*
Darxess:"I don't think sleep is going to happen anytime soon. I've been sleeping nearly my entire life. Its time I got up and did something done for once."
*Darxess jumped off the bed and stood up*
Darxess:"I sense Orb is nearby.......but where?! Something is blocking my mental conection with him......."
    *Darxess's face became serious*
Darxess:"Wait for me, Orb. I will win this tournament. No matter what it takes."

Xardius had gone to bed, but Enigma wasn't tired. He never really slept anymore. He was afraid he might accidentally "connect" while sleeping, so light naps was all he ever gave himself. Sighing, he ran a hand through his midnight black hair, and looked up at the stars.

"So tell me," Enigma said to the night. "Who's involved in the tournament?"

Silently he listened, creases etching themselves on his face. Enigma was only 30, but lines of worry and stress had lately made him look years older. His eyes followed the speaker, and finally he raised a hand.

"So, our competition is laid out for us well," Enigma muttered. "The Ultimate Organization will find this no picnic. Hmm, what's that?"

Enigma frowned at what he heard. "Tera Roth is here? With his troupe? What in blazes does he think he can do? Unless..."

Enigma smiled. "Ah, that makes sense. No, you're right, I won't tell them. I'll let it be a surprise."

Chuckling to himself, Enigma once again turned to look up at the stars. "Run it by me one more time, Sage: the competition is listed - the gods, the Brotherhood, though a meager force of them, Tera Roth, and various heroes and villains from across the land. Oh, and that unknown entity from the light worlds...Don't know his name. Little matter. I'm sure we'll meet in person one of these days."

"Sage, how have you been?" Enigma asked suddenly into the silence, turning to face the addressed. "That's...good to hear. I've been worried about you. Remember: keep a low profile...I just like being cautious. After all, I don't know what I'd do if..."

Enigma stopped, and listened. Slowly, he closed his eyes and nodded. Opening them, he looked softly at the empty space in front of him.

"I'll be waiting for your next return," he whispered to the empty wind, before jumping from the ilium ship and heading into the gods' tavern...

    ***
Meanwhile, Tera Roth yawned as he fingered the edge of his hat. He'd been sitting unobtrusively, watching Wing, Nulix, and Xane for the last few moments, even coming so close as to having the man who'd attempted to pick a fight with him blown back into a wall. The man had been drunk and now he was unconscious.

Next to him, a disguised Tyre picked at his food. "So, had enough?"

Tera Roth shrugged. "I'm masking our presence completely, so I think we'll be fine if we sit here some more."

"Unless that spell-piercing eye of Odin's happens to glance over here," Tyre said, eying around the wall at Odin. "I heard he's entering the competition."

"More fun for us," Tera Roth said. "But then again, our goal never really was to win."

Tyre sighed. "This wasn't one of your smarter ideas."

"That's what you said last time," Tera Roth said, "and that turned out alright."

"Except that guy followed us here," Tyre muttered grumpily. "The guy who chased you and Highwind."

Tera Roth frowned. "Yeah, I have a bad feeling about him. But I don't think he's Brotherhood."

"That doesn't mean he isn't powerful," Tyre warned. "I mean, look at me."

Tera Roth coughed, and Tyre flushed. "All right, bad example. Then look at Tifanitan."

"Being open about that, are we?" Tera Roth said snidely, and again Tyre flushed.

"Listen, it's not my fault that I have another soul inside me, and it's definitely not my fault she's a..." Tyre started, interrupted by Tera Roth's s******. "That's it, I'm leaving."

"Fine, it's late anyway," Tera Roth said, sighing. "I've filtered enough alcohol out of my beverages to spike the entire world supply of water, and that makes me tired."

Getting up, Tyre and Tera Roth filed out, Tera Roth giving a side glance to Enigma as he walked in. Enigma's eyes brushed his and lit up, and Tera Roth had the distinct impression that despite the complex spell he'd put up to disguise and mask his presence from the Ultimate Organization; Enigma wasn't fooled. Tera Roth felt himself stepping a little faster as Enigma's eyes moved on. That guy was something to be careful about.

Xegreny yawned and sat up. He'd walked into the first available room, and fallen asleep. This place had nice beds. Sleepily walking into the tavern to get a bite to eat, he noticed Enigma, seemingly staring at nothing. "Something wrong?" He asked, stifling a yawn. With a shrug, he joined the others.

EDIT: OOC: Ehh. Nobody's on. I'm gonna write more I guess.

Xegreny had already asked for some food, and while he was waiting, he watched as people arrived. Some seemed to be inhabitants of this world, some seemed to be visitors for the tournament. Xegreny wondered what the others thought about joining the tournament. To him, it seemed like a horribly stupid idea. If Enigma was right about the Brotherhood's strength, they should be working on getting stronger, and overcoming their weaknesses. Not laughing and eating, while planning to fight them in a tournament.

Xeg stifled another yawn and turned his eyes back to the entrance. Suddenly, all that drowsiness vanished. A person who looked exactly like him, down to the hairs on his head, just walked in the entrance. Diving out from the table and behind one of the many pillars, he creeped forward for a better look. Was it his Heartless? His True Self? Why was he here?

    ***

The Heartless smiled as he looked around the tavern. He'd heard that there was going to be a Tournament. The Brotherhood was going to be in it too. But the best part was the presence he felt hiding behind a pillar near by. The presence of someone just like him. But that presence didn't have a Heart. It was his Nobody. The part of him that retained the body, but not the Heart. He'd heard of the exploits of his Nobody. Part of the Ultimate Organization. Not too shabby.

The Heartless continued to act oblivious. Like he'd never noticed the presence of his other half (or is it third?) at all. He approached the nearest person who looked to be a servant.

"Hello. I would like to participate in the tournament. Where should I go?" The heartless asked politely.

"Right over there sir. You can't miss it. There's quite a line." The servant replied, directing him to the room nearby.

"Thanks." The heartless said with a small bow. Quickly joining the line, he waited for a good half hour.

At the front of the line, a bored looking worker was filling out paperwork. "Welcome to Olympia. Please fill out the paperwork here. We are not responsible for any damage caused by any participant."

"Uhh.. yes." The Heartless said, as it quickly filled out the forms. It faltered when the form asked for a name. He'd never had a name before. He'd never needed one. He'd just gone by "Heartless".

Thinking for a moment, he decisively wrote 'Adumbral' on the forms. That would be his name from now on. It suited him well. He was darkness. Adumbral meant shadow. Good fit, no?

    OOC: Good name? Y/N?

"Excuse me Gentleman," A voice said from behind Tera Roth and Tyre as they walked. The two turned to face a man with brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a blue suit and a large brown trench coat. "I was just wondering if you two fine young adult to middle aged men were considering entering the Tournament, after all it has excellent prizes. And if that is not your intention, what is your business here?"
