"Yeah, I'm bored," Xardius said, decking Garland, finally succeeding in shattering his helmet, at which point Garland covered his face with his hands and ran out screaming.

Astos launched another volley of magic at Xane, including a Thundaga spell...

Xardius unhooked Chomper from its sheath as he walked towards Wing and the Vampire...

EDIT OOC: Tsubasa, eh? More FF1 than Tsubasa, but he's the only Vampire boss, so...yeah.

 

"I'm Xane the wandering Joker," Xane introduced himself while ducking the spells and narrowly avoiding the thundaga. "And I'd hate to break it to ya but yo' ass is toast!" Xane joked with a flying kick.

OOC: Anyone else getting these in-jokes?

 

Astos went flying from the blow and splatted against a wall, his dark elf skull not able to withstand the pressure of the wall to the point of retaining consciousness. Basically he was out cold.

Which just left the Vampire.

 

"Think Wing can handle the Vampire?" Xane asked.

 

Wing nodded at Xane's comment. "I fought one a long time ago...training under Xardius. He left me to figure it out...and told me i'd thank him later.... thanks Xardius"


"I'd say this is just my type of fight." Wing said side stepping the Vampire's punches, and countering with his own. the two managed to hit one another at the same time, and both flew backwards.

Wing stood up and began to levitate, the Vampire pulled out a sword, and then went after Wing...who was quick to pull out his keyblades, and block the attack with the Gales and hit the Vampire in the nose with the featherdancer...the Vampire screamed bloody murder and disappeared.


"odd..."

 

"Hmph, it talks big," Xardius said. "But it's an outcast, a renegade...which makes it dangerous, desperate, and stupid, because it takes a lot to get kicked out. How do I know? It's in the tournament. Normal vampires don't even bother to talk to other species, let alone work under them. Maybe this one just didn't have the power...Which means Wing will defeat it no problem. After all, he defeated one as a Guardian."

 

"Ah. Good," Xane said, before yawning. "What's next? A box of kittens?"

 

"who knows" wing said with a chuckle



OOC: gotta go. night

 

Xardius tapped his foot. "I seriously thought it would put up more of a fight...That's why I had that big speech. Sheesh."

"Next up," the announcer said, nearly squealing in excitement. "Dangerous beyond danger, the greatest of all lichs, the undead mages...the Fiend of Earth!"

With a massive stream of sand and heat combined with swirls of flame, the floor of the arena broke apart as bones split through, coalescing into a monstrous being nearly a foot taller than Xardius and completely dead, bones polished white.

It roared to life with its Firaja spells leading the way...

OOC: And I'm off for the night too. See you guys tomorrow.

 

"Huh....." Xane said after a pause, avoiding firajas. "This looks challenging!!!"

 

OOC: Since I'm too lame awesome to keep up with you guys' crazy antics, I get to go off and do my own bit for a little while. Wheeeee.

Anyway, this is gonna be in multiple parts, so that I don't just post one huuuge post and then do nothing while you guys finish the round of the tournament.

BIC: Xegreny yanked himself away from the crowd. The doctors had at least healed him, but the warriors had done nothing but stuff him full of booze and food. He spent the next few minutes sobering up, by running back and forth at the arena entrance. Once he felt better, he went to push open the doors when an attendant came to find him.

"Mr. Xegreny?" The small attendant said somewhat commandingly, "Your match has been changed, follow me."

Xeg simply shrugged and followed the attendant to a smaller more out of the way arena. This one was obviously used for private duels, as it only had enough room to seat 10 or 20 spectators, unlike the giant main arenas. Xegreny waved away the attendant and did some last minute warm-ups. He pushed open the door, and walked into the arena. Once he saw his opponent, his jaw dropped in shock.

Standing there, a few feet away was a man who looked just like him. The same short brown hair, the same eyes, the same quirky little smile. But unlike Xeg, he radiated hate, and had a dark aura around him.

"Hello. My name is Adumbral. I'll be your heartless alter-ego today."

 

OOC: Gah, sorry I've been gone again...Usual excuse, work and crazy band teachers....And for once, I have no clue what you guys are doing....XD

Yes its short and sweet, but since school starts tomorrow I really had no choice...The others that I'm working on should be out by next week if I have a light homework load and if we can get the band presentable...So yeah...Comments,... concerns,...cookies?

BIC: Wing held his blades at the ready. "well this is certainly the largest box of kittens i've ever seen." He said with a laugh

 

OOC: Good trailer. When I saw the end for a minute I was like, "Wait, is that Greed? What the hell?"

BIC: "I'd been meaning to track you down eventually. I like to tie up loose ends." Xegreny growled.

"Ooh, did I make you mad?" Adumbral teased. "Well. That's not why I had you matched changed today. I did it so I could do this!"

"Wha-" Xegreny began. Before he could react, Adumbral snapped his fingers, and the entire arena was swarmed with dark energy. Xeg had expected this, pure energy tainted by the darkness he wields as a heartless. Extremely painful for Xegreny. Though, instead of hurting.. it did nothing. The energy dissipated, and he opened his eyes. Instead of the arena, he was in a peaceful field.

Off in the distance, he could see young children playing, and a little farther beyond that was a bustling city. It looked seemingly familiar. He couldn't quite place it, but he was sure he'd been here before.

"Don't you recognize it? It's our home town, on our home world. Meion. You know, the city we died to protect?" Adumbral said with a sly grin, appearing seemingly out of nowhere.

BIC: Bellatrix sighed as she watched the match from the medical ward. She had been taken here only to be confirmed that she really was fully healed and only in need of rest. When she had tried to leave though, the doctors had stopped her, claiming that they still had to see if she had any mental damage. Mental damage, yeah right. So I'm going crazy now or what? It was true she was having a couple bad dreams, a few flashbacks every now and then, but she felt fine. She sighed sat cross legged on the bed, eating an apple, waiting to see if the doctors would let her go already since the tournament was moving on. Just a few more minutes....

 

Wing stood planning every move he'd make, hoping he wouldnt have to make to many changes during the course of battle.

"magic here, slash there...got it" He said under his breath.




OOC: I tottaly just woke up from a nap and thought it was 5:45AM tomorrow.... X.X Thought i was going to be late for work... lol how dumb am i

 

OOC: Oh, I don't know...

BIC: Lich roared as Wing's blades slashed into his bones, then released an Aeroja spell that blasted a shield around him, sweeping curved wind blades at the UO members...

Xardius hopped over and under them, slamming Chomper down in a rush of energy, then slamming a combo in before sweeping Shurunrai out, slashing apart Lich's armor in the front, before sweeping forward in a rush of movement, slamming into and out of Lich's expansive rib cage (apparently he could fit in small places if he wanted to), and ripped Chomper through Lich's backbone.

Lich roared again in pain...

 

OOC: DarKnight, did you get my PM about the attacks? And great trailer, hidden.

 

Wing flew back from the rush of wind around the monster, luckily Xardius was there ready to attack. He watched and waited for the right time to attack, once he saw his opening, Wing raised his hand and shot off a twilight Wind spell that hit the beast just above the ribcage in the sternum. Her then shot one at the hips of the best.

"And the box of kittens falls to pieces!" He said rushing in with his Blades once more

 

Xane followed up with a flurry of kicks directed at the fiend's spinal column. The lich fell over on it's stomach.

"Looks like this thing's about to crack," Xane commented.
