The Ultimate Organization II

OOC: Bah! I didn't read Oxyrt's whole post! That and I forgot that the new hurricane's name was GUSTAV. Stay safe, Oxyrt!

 

OOC:Crap...........sorry everyone, I had to do chores all day......I seriously hope Oxyrt is ok.

 

Novice walked toward Enigma on the other side of the arena. "Our time in this tournament is going to end soon," Novice commented. "Is it our turn to face the Ultimate Organization, yet?"

 

Wing was back in the courtyard, the brotherhood was on his mind...as was the concept of time, his friends, and prism.


"Derrick... Gabrielle... Where are you?"

"Derrick!" Rain cried as she sank her sword's blade deep into another brotherhood troop's side. The man on the phone was right, they were attacked as soon as they stepped from the portal.


"Rain, lets just end this now!"

Rain nodded and the two stood side by side, two against a seemingly endless onslaught of troops.

"Prism art! Guardians of Flame and Water!" Shadow chanted, making a semi circle with his sword.

"Magic fusion, Flame and Water. Volcanic Oceanic!" Rain finished the spell and circle with her sword, the two blade tips touched and an explosion of boiling hot water and molten rock erupted from their swords, incasing three fourths of the Brotherhood troops, sending the remaining troops running.

 

Enigma was facing away from Novice, and he didn't turn around.

"Novice, where do you stand? With what ideal do you live by? The destruction of the Ultimate Organization or...the one I hold to? Which?" he asked softly.

EDIT OOC: Bah, gone again.

BIC: Xardius lay unmoving in the bed, trying to sleep. He was uncomfortable, rigid. Which is why he didn't see the infiltrator. Which is why he didn't see the knife until it was driving into his neck. Which is why he lay unmoving as the shadow slipped away...

 

Crissilia was on her way to find Wing when she noticed a trail of blood heading in the opposite direction..then she remembered seeing a hooded man walk past her. waved, and Crissilia could vaguely remember blood stains on his hands. She quickened her pace and walked in to the medical wing, followed the blood and gasped when she saw blood dripping from Xardius' neck. She grabbed a nurse who then grabbed a few more nurses to help her try and save Xardius, who's pulse was declining rapidly.


Wing was on his way inside to check up on the others when Crissilia ran into him, with out a word she gabbed his had and took him to Xardius, The nurses were frantic, hooking Xardius up to machines, pumping blood into him, and trying to stabilize him.


"WHAT HAPPENED HERE!?" Wing demanded of the nurses who all looked away from him out of shame and embarrassment. Crissila explained what she had seen and in a flash Wing was transformed into his wind form, keyblade of wind and gales in hand as he dashed down the the hallways, after Xardius' assailant

 

OOC: Sorry. Dish washing duty.

BIC: "....I'm not too sure, myself," Novice sighed. "Truthfully, I go with whatever suits me best. At the moment I would like help you and your cause. The Ultimate Organization interests me, and I don't wish for them to bedestroyed. At least not yet."

 

The "assailant" silently stood in the middle of the hallway, waiting for Wing...

Back in the medical wing, Xardius was vainly trying not to hit something. What kind of idiot stabs him in the middle of the night, and expects him to DIE!? Xardius very nearly shook his head but he though that would put the nurse, who was frantically trying to keep him alive, into a coma, so he refrained.

Instead, he thought about who would even try to kill him...After all, he was invincible. Literally. All he had to do was unwrap his bandages and...

Oh, wait, he couldn't really move...His muscles were still completely cramped from the chaos that Chaos had thrust into him. Xardius would have chuckled but he didn't want to hurt his throat any more, which they'd just gotten sewn up while he wasn't paying attention.

Well, whatever, Xardius said, winking at the nurse, who fainted, and then closing his eyes. Clever boys, he thought as he started to go to sleep. Be careful Wing.

EDIT: Enigma nodded and turned towards Novice. "I won't be fighting the UO. I'll be fighting the Brotherhood, you know. You know Scourge. Whoever has the most fighting power wins the prize...So I plan to give them everything I have...or at least everything they can take."

He smiled slightly. "Do whatever you wish, just don't get yourself killed doing it. And keep an eye on Loki. He's planning something behind our backs."

 

OOC: You might want to edit...

Edit: BIC: "I figured as much," novice smirked. "If I could I'd use all my power to repair this schism in the Brotherhood. To make matters worse, Ecko is here as well." Novice took a minute to scratch his head, before resuming the conversation. "Anyway, if you're going to see your friends in the Ultimate Organization right now, do you mind taking me with you?"

 

Wing saw a man standing in the hallway a bloodied knife lay before him.



"Twilight wind!" He shouted launching the spell at the man.

 

The man idly dodged the spell, making it look as if Wing had missed. Slamming the knife into the ground, he threw back his hood and sneered.

"Remember me, Coa?" he asked, his spiky blond hair waving as he laughed.

Then the world erupted into white wind, obliterating everything. When the wind dissipated, the man was gone, leaving only the knife.

BIC: Enigma looked vaguely surprised, then shrugged. "Why not? Let's go..."

And he leaped down towards the medical wing, knowing that Wing and Xardius were both there...

 

Wing stood there confused, he had returned to normal but picked up the knife with wind.


"Remember me...." Wing said, as if he was learning a new language. He thought about the man and tried to remember him. he settled on having to have met the man during his time as a guardian.


He carried the knife in a small wind bubble all the way back to the Medical wing

 

Novice followed Enigma, just as Xane entered the medical wing himself.

" Enigma? What are you doing?" Xane asked weakly, plopping down onto a bed.

 

"Oh, Xane," Enigma said, blinking slowly. "I was just on my way to heal you all. Glad you're here. Ferocious last battle. Congratulations."

"That old wimp's straightway in a coma," the man said, wiping his hands off in the sink. "Done through and through."

"Hmph, you underestimate him, I think," the other man said, shaking his head. "This will be interesting..."

 

"Uh, thanks I guess," Xane said. "Wing and Xardius are in another room I think."

At that, Novice shifted in place a little. "Are they?" he asked. "Let's heal the kid and check up on the guardians, eh?"

"Kid?" Xane questioned.

 

Wing saw Enigma as he walked in to the medical wing

"Glad to see you. I need you to tell me where this knife is from and who's it is." He said allowing thr knife to float over to Enigma

 

Enigma took 15 seconds to look at the knife. In those 15 seconds, he also healed Xane.

In those 15 seconds, this is what he deduced. The slight scraping of the edge here was where it had grated inside Xardius' throat, and so that meant the angle was this, and the thrust had been right-handed. The grip was large, but had finger grips, probably form-fitted for a large-handed person. The blade itself was etched with a simple pattern on one side, which took Enigma the remaining 10 seconds to figure out where it came from, the manufacturer, and who it manufactured for.

Enigma turned to Wing as he finished healing Xane, and began producing a healing spell for Wing and Crissilia at once.

"His name is Hegemoth, and he is the former Guardian of Wind," Enigma said. "He came to the dark side a little while ago, and is holed up with one of the anti-UO organizations, though I do not know what he has against you or Xardius, being an ex-Guardian himself. I do know he has a long-standing rivalry with both Tera Roth and Tyre Rutherford, which probably is what made him leave in the first place."

Enigma shrugged. "If I'm right, the man would have had piercing blue eyes and spiky blond hair, and was probably taller than everyone but Xardius; at least, who's here."

Finishing the healing spell, he pointed to a room. "Xardius in there?"

 

"Think so," Xane answered, getting up from his bed.

 

Wing's eyes grew as the memory of a battle returned to him. He pointed Enigma in the right direction and let the battle flood back to him.


It was right after Xardius had been killed and Laurenska was stll under siege by thousands of heartless, many new guardians were recruted, but all were killed in seconds, seeing the slaughter Hegemoth returned to help out...after the fight, Wing was sent after Highwind, forgetting all about the blonde haired man.




"The former Guardian of Wind...Looks like both my magics have former Guardians of Laurenska....and lately they both want me dead." Wing smiled at the irony. "I just do it better i guess." He said jokingly, trying to hide the fear swelling up inside him.



OOC: Gotta go

 

OOC: 'Kay. See ya tomorrow, hopefully, XD.

BIC: Enigma shrugged as he walked towards Xardius' room. "It's what I can't figure out. Why is a ex-Guardian working against another ex-Guardian? I thought you guys were all buddy-buddy...And if you're talking about Tera Roth, I don't think he's EVER had it in for you guys. If anything, he's looking out for you more than he'll let on."

Enigma opened the door to find Xardius yawning, and tucking in the fainted nurse in bed. Rubbing his neck, he spotted Enigma and raised an eyebrow. In response, Enigma flooded him with a healing spell.

Xardius grunted and walked outside, stretching.

"I'm fine everyone," he said. "Healed right up once the chaos ran out of my system, and I could take off my wraps..."
