BIC: Crissilia laughed as she stepped into the portal.


"Hey before we start, I have to ask...what did Wing do that you have to be Thankful for? I am his counterpart, i should have the right to know right?"

Wing opened his eyes, they were a navy blue, almost black color now. THe chaotic Twilight had consumed him...he was lost in its depths, the twisting and turning corridors were no where near the same as their light universe counterparts. Every turn was a dead end, every door led to nothingness, evey choice was countered by its opposite...it was true Twilight... this was Apathy. His modified Twilight form came and went, and he was panting for air from the constant switching. but he didn't quit, his heart told him where to go, and he followed it... if there was one thing he learned in life and battle it was to never ignore how your heart feels.

"This is for the greater good..." he said out loud, his echo sounding like he was under water.

"Goddess of Twilight, if you can hear me... please show your chosen Guardian the way to the Flame and Water. and If I'm not your Chosen Guardian, please... please take me back to Asguard and strip me of my Twilight Abilities."

He fell to his knees, then flat on his face, his breath fogging up the marble like ground with every exhale. He closed his eyes and suddenly he was able to see the way...a small path way began to form in his mind's eye, his eagle eye ability that he gained with his wind form.

getting up slowly and with out opening his eyes, Wing followed the pathway to a large stone door. When he reached out to open it, a voice spoke into his mind.

"You have traveled far young one. The road you walk is full of pain, and suffering. Will you continue?" The deep baritone voice reverberated in his head, echoing... forewarning.

"Yes, I will continue..." Was his simple reply.

"The Road ahead is very hard, and you will be tested. Do you Accept these trials of Twilight?"

"I...do..."

"Very Well then. Good Luck Young Guardian... your story ends and begins here."

The door opened slowly. With a sigh and one last moment to think of his closest friends, Nulix, Xardius, Bella, Xane, Xeg, Vexneah, Darxess, Dream, Rain, Shadow, Geryl, and possibly even Vecked. Then he thought of his mission...with fists clenched. Wing stepped through the door...and into the unknown.

 

OOC: I'm in your threads, postin' storiez.

Also: Oh right, like my characters could maim yours. >:

Also Also: Jeez, Wing. Get married already. WEeell.. wait.. nevermind. You'd wanna know if you can handle being together while in college/the real world and whatnot.

BIC: "How'd you know my name..? Nevermind." Adumbral said, surprised at the comment by Enigma. Hardly surprising. He WAS a walking supercomputer after all.

Taking the chance, Xeg blasted Adumbral far into the wall. Since they were opposites, his attacks did lotsa damage, more than the average attack. Xeg quickly pinned him to the wall with blasts.

"Quick! Somebody hit him while he's down! I can't fight him hand-to-hand!" Xegreny said, focusing on keeping his Heartless distracted.

"Low.." Adumbral began before getting pummeled by blasts, "Handed.... tricks.... eh?"

 

"How was it formed? Well, the beginning was a long time ago, and it started with only a few members; Scourge and his trusted allies from some thing or another I guess. Then he started recruiting to help him do...er, a private thing..." Enigma cleared his throat. "I am definitely not cleared to tell you that, sorry. Anyway, I was recruited that way only a few years ago. There haven't really been any new members lately, except for a couple of people who are attempting to join now, for the power, I think."

Xardius sighed. "As long as you promise not to tell him. It's the fact that he always will be my friend, no matter what happens, through the thick and the thin. Maybe you can appreciate that." He shrugged. "Of course, I have plenty of stories, some of them not even from this lifetime, about Wing and I. Let's go, shall we?"

He stepped through, disappearing.

 

Crissila smiled as she walked through the portal.

"some time you'll have to tell me those stories." She said standing opposite her new teacher.

 

"Huh. That figures," Xane yawned. "So what's his goal? To help us or kill us? It was never clear to me."

 

Xardius nodded. "All right, first thing's first."

He pulled out Shurunrai. "Show me everything you have."

Enigma smiled slightly. "That, my friend, is what this tournament is all about."

With that he back-flipped gracefully back into Xegreny's arena, and slammed a fist straight into Adumbral, sending him nearly four inches deeper into the wall...

 

Xegreny raised an eyebrow, "Since when can you fight?"

Adumbral growled, and teleported himself out of harm's way. "Now," he said devilishly as his wounds healed themselves and he cracked his fingers "Where were we?"

 

Crissilia smiled and jumped backwards, and threw a wind spell at xardius, before launching herself threw the air and crossing blades with him, blow after blow, she gritted her teeth and gave it everything she had, trying to prove herself to Xardius that she could cut it...that she had potential.

She finally paused to catch her breath and frowned.

"i maybe his counterpart...but i'm nowhere near as strong. But i wont give up, i promise!

 

*Darxess overheard the entire situation involved around Wing*
*Darxess stared at Adumbral, lowered his head and sighed, dropping his Skythe to the ground*
Darxess:"Sorry. But I am in no mood to fight today. I must see my old friend one last time."
*Darxess turned around and began walking away*
Adumbral:"Don't you turn your back on me!"
*Adumbral pointed a gun a Darxess*
*Darxess kept walking*
*Adumbral fired a shot into Darxess's right leg*
*Darxess stumbled for a few step, but kept walking*
*Adumbral raised the gun a fired another shot into Darxess's left shoulder*
*Darxess kept hobbling onward*
*Adumbral then points it at Darxess's head*
*Darxess did not stop*
*Adumbral put his thumb on the trigger*



*Closed his eyes*



*And lowered the gun*

*Adumbral muttered a few curses under his breath*
*Adumbral thought to himself*
(Your death will wait, for now. But the next time I see you, there will be no more friends for you to visit, except in hell.)



OOC:You don't mind if I took control of Adumbral for a bit, did you? Or give him a gun?

 

OOC: That's fine with me... but you just added a gun to his arsenal.. which means that it's a gun crafted out of raw energy.. which makes it much stronger than your average gun...

BIC: Adumbral dissipated the gun he'd... "borrowed". If one of the silly little nobodies wanted to run around and say goodbyes, he could run around.

Holding a hand in the air, he gathered energy at his palm, and forced into a sword-shape. A flash of light later, and he's got himself a perfectly crafted sword. Cracking a crooked smile, he swung it expertly.

 

Xane toyed with the thought of helping Xegreny and Enigma out on this fight. But, they seemed to be doing well. No need for him to join in. On the other hand he had nothing better to do. With that, Xane jumped down to the arena and joined the fight.

 

Xardius smiled. "Determination is the key to success. To the point of collapse. Give me more!"

This time he attacked her, taking it slow and easy, at least for him. Crissilia was still hard-pressed, however, to block his blows, but just like Wing, she was agile, and able to block and dodge every single one. Xardius relented for a moment, as the breath came sharp and fast from Crissilia.

"Don't give up on me now," he said. "It's hard. But push yourself to something you've never seen before...And, in the pushing, you will grow. So don't hold back! Give it your all!"

Enigma shrugged. "I did get through this tournament didn't I?"

He pulled his gun out of its sleeve, and readied it.

 

"That you did. Though... watch that sword of his. He'll change it's shape constantly, and it's made out of energy.. which can make it lethal to some." Xegreny grumbled.

"Lethal? What's that mean.. oh right. Killing. Why don't I do some of that now!" Adumbral said merrily as he leaped in the air and brought the energy-blade crashing down a few inches from Xeg's head.

 

*Darxess held his breath as he too fell into the twilight abyss*
*The twilight flowed into his open wounds, filling his entire body with pain*
*Darxess's eye widen by the sheer pain of it, but he kept quiet*
*It didn't matter how much it hurt, heck, it could even kill him for all he cared*
*He wasn't going to let Wing leave alone in darkness, at least, not yet*
*Darxess landed, facedown and sprawled across the ground in front of the door, a thin beam of light barely peeking through the door as it slowly shut*
*Darxess slowly turned and raised his head toward the door*
"......wait......" Darxess said in a very weak, gasping voice.

 

She nodded, sweat dripping down the side of her face. she was worn out and hot from the physical stress, but with Wing gone, there was void to fill...and she felt obligated to fill that whole...so she would have to become just as strong as the person she was filling in for.


"AHHHHHHH!" She cried as she swung the keyblade with all she had, firing off volley after volley of wind, each one mixing with more and more chaotic Twilight.

"I'm Wing...we're the same! I can do anything he can.... I wont let you down!" She said panting, she then closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Twilight wind!" She let the spell flow from her body, the power was amazing, nothing she had ever felt before...she wondered if this was how Wing felt every time he used his magic...and if he did it maybe why he never truly let himself go full force. Crissilia was sure that only she and Xardius knew of Wing's personal limitations...even his Wind and Twilight Forms had never been used to full potential, making him fall out of them when he took to strong of a blow.

Wing turned at the sound of a familiar voice. Darxess lay just outside the door... which opened once more, the voice telling him that it would remain open but for him alone.

"Darxess?!" He said crouching down by his friend's side.

"You shouldn't be here...this twilight is very unstable..."

 

*Darxess coughed*
Darxess:"Now you're starting to sound like Orb......"
*Darxess coughed a few more time*
Darxess:"Apparently my body isn't agreeing too well to this Twilight.......but......As leader of the Organization, I'm not letting a member just disappear without me saying goodbye......"
*Darxess slowly smiled*
Darxess:"You can just consider it my duty........"

 

Wing smiled softly.

"Darxess...This isn't goodbye...not yet. I'll come back some day...stronger. I promise. And hey, we've got a great group, dont let them stray away okay? When i come back I want to see em all." He helped his leader to his feet.


"Now go on, get back to the others, I dont want to lose you to this element okay?" He shook Darxess's hand and thanked him for taking him that rainy night in The World That Never Was.

"Here's to a better tomorrow!" He said saluting Darxess... another soul he was sure he had met many times before in past lives

 

OOC: I'm hitting the hay early tonight. See you guys later.

 

OOC:See ya, Darknight.

*Darxess bowed his head and sighed*
*He was never good with goodbyes*
*Darxess raised his head and cleared his throat*
Darxess:"To a better tomorrow."
*Darxess shook Wing's hand*
Darxess:"And a safe return. Promise me that."

 

OOC: I'm off to bed as well

BIC: Wing smiled his famous smile.

"I promise old friend. Save me a brotherhood member or two would ya?" He said jokingly as he summoned the power to open a portal for Darxess to get back to Asguard.

"Good luck, and when you find orb, tell him to trace my phone. But give me two months...at least." He then turned and walked back through the stone door, and smiled at Darxess the whole time as it closed, eventually cutting their goodbye off... Wing felt bad just leaving...but staying any longer would have made him want to go back, and he just couldn't do that yet.
