"I have to wonder what the hell your doing... so, what the hell you doin?!" Meray asked...

 

"It is quite simple, Hojan," Ravakov started to explain. "The fourth god is going to graciously except these Laser cores as a gift. They are more valuable than the veapons themselves, yes? As for the other two cores?....Oh, I have plans for them."


Without warning, Hojan's ship started rocking back and forth. As it shook, various parts of it tore off by themselves and started swirling around them. Far away, from the sea that connected Dark Atlantica to Midgar, Pieces of the sub-marines that Ravakov sank slowly rose from the bottom of the sea and started to form together with the parts of Hojan's ship. Pipes underneath Midgar and various electronic and metallic devices started to flow from under the grounds of Midgar. Lastly, huge machine parts labeled, WEAPON gathered around formation of metal that Ravakov was creating. In the center of it lied two of the laser cores.

Once the tornado of metal was complete, a machine stood before them. A machine that Ravakov spent three years designing the blueprints for. The machine was huge. Bigger than any Death Drum, or ship anyone on Midgar had ever scene. Ravakov merely laughed as he guided himself towards the cockpit and took a seat, getting used to the machine.

"Three years of work...It's complete," Ravakov cackled. "The plan to retrieve the Virus is coming to a perfect close! Vith this machine, I vill achieve my goal! I present to you...Death WEAPON!!!" Ravakov shouted, trying not to use his accent, so anyone nearby could understand. "Now...to test it out..."

 

"You..." Hojan muttered, grabbing Ravakov by the arm, "What the hell are you doing? I know... we worked for the Brotherhood. Our biggest client is the Brotherhood, but we have bigger plans... involving your little org... so please, take this weapon apart... or I could buy it from you."

OOC: I'm going to bed, see ya.

 

"I'm sorry...I've come way too far to stop now," Ravakov cackled.

 

OOC: I told you I had to leave...It kicked me off right as I was posting...*grumble grumble* Here's what I would have posted last night.

BIC: Scourge shook his head. "That I cannot do. Not even all of the Brotherhood knows my goals. And you think I'll tell you?"

He chuckled. "You're either very stupid, desperate, or you have something else planned. So...just get it over with."

 

Vecked chuckled, "Scourge... you people are pathetic... trying to control your worlds, your power.... but there is one key element none of you have ever played because its the one thing no one wants to lose... the people, the citizens of the worlds, no one wants to lose them. The typical tactic is to overthrow the local ruler and change the the taxes..."

"Now... the citizens of the world that has been overruled don't do anything because... well, they don't really care. Yeah, taxes are annoying but its nothing to start a fight over."

"Now imagine if the people didn't stand for this, if they would rather burn their own city down and kill themselves before standing for this... all of the people! The Ruler could either let his society die... or he could give up all power..."

Vecked smiled, "You see Scourge... the people are more powerful then any Virus... then any power you could ever have... and I have a way to use the people, to control them... and I beleive the people include quit a few members of your Brotherhood, Scourge..."

"What will you do with it...?" Alyt asked.

 

Scourge just stood there for a moment, then threw back his head and laughed.

"You just don't get it, do you Vecked?" he asked, smiling slightly. "I don't care. I really don't. If they want to kill themselves, let them. But, you see, I think you'll find it hard for you to do...at least in the dark side."

"I don't ask for taxes," Scourge said, stepping slowly towards Vecked. "I don't ask for their subordination. I don't rule. The only thing I've ever asked is that they provide me with a home, which the inhabitants of this world were happy to give me, a few people who were willing to work with me, hence the Brotherhood...And that's it."

Scourge shook his head. "What you don't seem to understand is that I'm not after universal domination. However...don't think for an instant I won't kill you if you hurt the people who live here." Scourge stepped in very close to Vecked and snarled in his face. "I've worked too long and too hard for anyone to mess it up now. I won't ask for your cooperation, but I owe the people here and if you mess them up, I'll mess you up. Got it?"

OOC: Hmmm, what is Scourge up to...? There's something else going on here...Oh, yeah, I am Scourge. I should know that. ;D

 

"I'm very happy to hear that, Scourge..." Vecked said with a honest smile, "But... I find it hard to believe that statement... since your Brotherhood is... screwing everyone in the Dark world over. I've been a citizen here, I know how these people are treated..."

Vecked shrugged, "But since that isn't apparently what you want. Since you think your... helping the people, somehow? I don't... quit understand. You see Scourge, your Brotherhood... isn't the most popular group in the world. They have done horrible things, killed millions. And since that's not what you want, the only thing I can come up with is that your Brotherhood isn't even being controlled by you anymore... as I said, you need to re-org fast."

"And that brings me to my final point," Vecked said, "You dismissed what I said... but then you contradicted yourself by saying if I messed with your citizens, you would mess with me... Scourge. The thing is... I won't be the one messing with your people, they will be. They will be the ones burning your city's to the ground, killing your citizens... not me."

Vecked shrugged, "If my statements are true, which they will be; I win. No matter how well you act, if I own your people... I win. Its the one divine rule of this little game we are all involved in. Even you care about your people Scourge."

 

"Even me?" Scourge asked softly. "Even me?"

He laughed softly to himself. "So that's it."

He straightened. "Very well," he said. "I accept. I have one request however. If you're right, you fix it. I'm busy."

And he stepped into a portal and disappeared.

OOC: Yes, Scourge is being rather mysterious...hopefully, we'll understand soon.

BIC: Scourge was furious. And Sorion knew it.

Sorion settled back in his chair. "What is it, Scourge? Having problems with the...?"

"Shut up," Scourge said quietly, rage boiling in his eyes. "What's going on?"

"What do you mean?" Sorion asked innocently.

The next instant, he was against the wall, finding it hard to breathe from Scourge's impossibly fast Firaja spell, his chair in ruins.

"What's going on?" Scourge repeated.

"I have Ravakov trying to get the Virus," Sorion said without hesitation, not bothering to pick himself off the floor.

"Why?" Scourge asked.

Sorion hesitated. The world blurred around him and pain exploded in his brain.

"Don't toy with me," Scourge said. "I will just kill you and find out anyway."

"We want to crush Midgar," Sorion gasped. "They're not letting us in the city."

Pain flooded him as Scourge slammed a fist into Sorion's desk, disintegrating it.

"I allowed them their independence last year!" Scourge snarled. "Why are you going behind my back?"

Sorion was silent, simply looking at Scourge. Scourge understood.

"You have two days to fix this," Scourge said. "Or else..."

"I can't," Sorion blurted. "Zaxor, Trent, and Falcon are already gone. Falcon's with them, just like Enigma."

Scourge rubbed his temple. "Then get Falcon or Enigma to do it."

Sorion looked uncomfortable, then seemed to realize who he was talking to.

"Right," he said. "And about Kardas..."

Scourge shook his head. "Don't let him out of there alive. I won't stand for this."

Sorion nodded, already calculating in his head.

Scourge disappeared.

"It seems you're right, Vecked," Scourge said softly, returning to his work. "But I don't have a choice."

OOC: Urg, the suspense!

 

OOC: So Scourge is angry because he was busy and so he left this Sorion guy in charge who basically ruined his vision of the Brotherhood by putting the people of the worlds in a very bad spot and basically robbing them of their money with taxes and enforcing the laws to insanely strict degrees?

 

OOC: And a few other reasons besides that. The jerk.

 

OOC:I'm still thinking of some ideas, however, you will definately hear again from Darxess before long.

 

OOC: .....

BIC: "What was that?" Nulix asked.

Vecked shrugged, "It looks like I'm not the first ambitious Brotherhood member."

"I'm talking about controlling people?! How the hell you plan to do that?"

"You push people into a corner... you make things as dark as they can be... and then you show them that... if they grasp for it... they can gain more power then they ever dreamed..." Vecked said.

"Your kidding..." Nulix said, unimpressed, "How do you plan to... uh, do this exactly?"

"I plan to do it with fear..." Vecked said, "It's complex..."

Nulix sighed, "What the hell are you doing Vecked? You want power and you don't even know what power is..."

Vecked shook his head, "I want peace... People like Scourge also want peace... yet he isn't strong enough to give up temptation. The Virus... the biggest killing machine in the world... if you got it... what would you do with it? You would use it to crush your enemy's then store it away... for a later day."

Vecked sighed, "As long as things like the Virus exists... there will be no peace. No one's willing to kill it, even if they controlled it... temptation is the key to downfall... emotion is the key to downfall... without emotion, without temptation... people might be able to actually keep peace... but emotion is the thing that keeps us... human."

"Its a hard thing..." Vecked said, "Come on, lets get out of here..."

 

OOC: Hmm, I'm pretty sure Xardius wouldn't have a problem killing the Virus...He's got enough power himself...XD

BIC: "I'll drop you off back at Midgard..." Vecked said to Nulix, as the two entered a large brown gummi ship...

 

OOC: XD, lol. Of course it is. That's why I said it, lol

Hmm, Xardius teaser.

BIC: Xardius wiped sweat from his brow. "Thanks, OK, let's wrap it up."

Crissilia nodded, and grabbed a water bottle, sucking it down. After a minute, she put the bottle down and handed it to Xardius, who drank some as well.

"Do you really think it will work?" Crissilia asked. "I don't feel any different."

"It's working," Xardius grunted. "I just hope Wing doesn't kill me when he finds out..."

EDIT OOC: I gotta go for all day. Stuff to do. But I'll see you guys tomorrow hopefully.

 

OOC: Aw, everyones gone...

"Continue everything as planned, " Ravakov smiled, steering the Death WEAPON towards dark Midgar's Mako Reactors. ""But first, I think I'll test it's veapon system out, first." Two rail guns emerged from each end of the WEAPON. With them, one wire cord. Thrusters emerged from the back and propelled the machine toward the Mako Reactor with an speed. Ravakov closed the hatch on the WEAPON, letting, shaking off Hojan and Alyt. He then pulled up a microphone and spoke through some sort of loud speaker on the machine. "Kardas! Vake up! I's feeding time!" Ravakov called out."This vorld is of no use to us anymore!:
