OOC: I refuse to believe that...


BIC: "Cosmo Canyon's in plain sight now," Xane told the others. "I think we should go over exactly what we're going to do with the Virus and it's guardian, the fourth god."

 

Skinnar and Pharell climbed into a small escape pod that flew from the U.P.A. ship onto the ground's in front of Cosmo Canyon. Skinnar kicked open the pod's door, climbing out of it, "Let's find the UO and stop them," he muttered.

Nulix scratched his head, "We say we want to work with him... he takes us too the Virus, we kill him and the Virus. Simple enough."

OOC: Its the truth.

 

"Right, "Xane nodded. He continued to drive until something landed in front of them. As the dust, cleared, Xane noticed the silver lettering that read, "U.P.A."

"Great," Xane said. "Looks like some of our U.P.A buddies caught up to us."

 

OOC: Have to go... I'll be back soon...ish though...

 

OOC: See ya, then.

 

As he group rode along towards cosmo canyon Falus had crossed his arms over his chest and just went along with the other. He looked over to to see the UPA ship and felt his a familar sense of annoyance wash over him.

"Great...these idiots again..."

He rolled his eyes and caught a glimpse of a white Gummi ship taking off from the mall's back parking lot. He heart beat grew faster and twilight began to form around his hand, and the wind picked up, forming around the twilight.


"Vecked..." He said outloud, a little louder then he had meant to.

Liam stood on one side of Cosmo Canyon, he had heard Novice was around, but had yet to locate him. He watched as the UPA ship landed and the UO drew closer. The brotherhood was alos around.

"And so the Proverbial chess game begins." He made a sweeping motion with his hand and troops began pouring out of Dark portals. Once the formed up behind him Liam smiled.

"And after the kill one another, we'll move in and reap the rewards. Scourage will have to accept me as an ally if I bring him the Virus."

 

"I wouldn't be too sure of that..." A unknown voice warned Liam.

 

"Well, well," Xardius said, leaning down over his extended knee and smirking. "Looks like it's all in place."

Crissilia shrugged. "I still have doubts that things will turn out the way you hypothesized."

Xardius chuckled. "Have faith, my darling. You're a goddess, right? People have faith in you...try to have a little faith in them."

Crissilia muttered to herself, probably over the fact that Xardius knew she was a goddess.

Xardius pulled out his cell phone, and dialed a number.

"Hey, it's me," Xardius said into the phone. "Yeah, right now. Cosmo Canyon...................Faster than I thought you'd be. Good luck."

He hung up the phone.

At Cosmo Canyon, at the brink of the destruction, a portal opened, and three men stepped through. A few feet away, another portal opened, and out stepped three other men and two women, all dressed in armor similar to the armor Xardius had worn so long ago...

"Man, it's good to see all of you," Tera Roth said. "But, there really isn't time for chit-chat. Ready?"

 

OOC: Guardians of Larenska?

 

OOC: Yep. Took me like ten minutes to post this. I think my computer's baking itself in layers of computer grease. I don't want to even know what my CPU usage is right now...

 

OOC: Are they all as powerful as Xardius?

 

OOC: They're about as powerful as a UO member or so, like Tera Roth and Highwind. There's about the same number too. Back in the day of the Enigmatic Knights, they were the elite division that was sent in (only one at a time, or two at most) to take care of undercover operations, really dangerous stuff, or blatant blow-it-up-and-don't-get-killed missions. I will now reveal their names.

BIC: Tera Roth, Highwind, and Tyre saluted the remaining members of the Guardians of Larenska: Magna, another Guardian of Fire; Patrick, Guardian of Earth; Shiva, Guardian of Wind; Simon, Guardian of Ice; Ziya, Guardian of Sand.

They saluted back, then turned towards the canyon.

"Now we wait for them to arrive," Simon said softly...

 

OOC: By them, I suppose you mean The UO, U.P.A, and Brotherhood. Where's Enigma, by the way?

 

OOC: He's...around...But like Xardius and Crissilia, he won't be participating in this battle. Xardius and Crissilia are going to be training (again), and Enigma's will be revealed later, as it's pretty important.

Ho hum...So, Pirate, how far are you on Chapter 2?

 

OOC: Gah! Now I have no one for Novice to talk to! And, I'm on the first page of CH 2. Still trying to figure out what Oxyrt looks like...

 

OOC: He can talk to Enigma...Enigma can be resting at the moment...

 

OOC: Sorry, my dad called me for something.

BIC: Novice looked on from the roof of the dark Midgar mall. With a sigh and sat down and began to think about what the Brotherhood's true purpose was...

 

OOC: That's fine...

BIC: "To save all of this," Enigma said, gesturing to the area around them. "To destroy the Sea of Chaos, my friend, that is slowly oozing toward us."

Enigma sat down, and sighed. "This division among us is very troubling. My efforts are...minimal to the front. Scourge is holding it nearly all on his own. We need the Ultimate Organization to step in..."

He shook his head. "Unfortunately, I'm beginning to think that their short-sightedness will be our undoing."

 

"And you think they can do this?" Novice asked. "Not that I doubt them, but..."

Novice let out a sigh and shook his head, dismissing his own question. "Let me ask you three things..." Novice began. "First off, who actually started this division in the first place? Secondly,...Do you think everything that's been happening is going to come to an end soon? And lastly,...I've seen what The Ultimate Organization and those around them have done. I've even looked into their pasts. Has everything they've been through up to this point been Scourge's doing? Did he see them as the key to saving us all that whole time?"

 

"Huh," Enigma said. "I suppose I could say Sorion, and save my neck. But I know better. I have a feeling he'll appear soon enough."

"As for the second question, I have a feeling things are going to come to a head soon, but before that, something is going to happen. I don't know what, but something..."

He muttered to himself for a moment, then opened his mouth to answer the third question.

"The third...As long as I have known Scourge, I can honestly say yes. But it's not for the reasons you think it is..." Enigma said. "He cares, but he doesn't. He is a man of extremes, and his reasons are all his own." Enigma looked at Novice. "Does that satisfy you?"
