"You honestly think so?" Novice snorted, his eyebrow raised. "We'll see about that..."

Novice reached into his back pocket and pulled out a twin pair of nunchaku.

Xane paused, catching Skinnar's fist before it reached his face, "We're here to stop you and the Brotherhood from doing whatever the hell you're doing! Don't you know that?"

 

Vecked smiled, "I'd love to stay and chat... but, I've got one hell of a schedule... some other time, right?" Suddenly, a small, black gummi ship landed beside him. Aeron Acteon walked out, "Lets go," He said, pulling Vecked in...

Skinnar scratched his head, "Wait... I thought you were Brotherhood. You see, we are planning to blow the Virus up... so no one can use its powers for evil..."

 

Novice, however, was already on the ship. "What took you so long?" he asked. "See, I'm not going to feel too good letting you off scot free after what you just did. You're insane, Vecked. Ain't no way of justifying all of this."

"Really?" Xane asked. "Well, you have a history of deceit, so I don't think we can fully trust you. How about you follow us to Cosmo Canyon?"

 

OOC: Well, I had this great post planned...and it got completely deleted...So, in a few minutes, I will try to recreate it. In the meantime, somebody explain what's going on...I'm a little confused.

 

"No... we are planning a surprise attack, if the Fourth sees us we lose... you lose," Skinnar explained.

"Look Novice, I jumped... I survived, blame the pilots... like Alyt here," Vecked said, grabbing Alyt by the arm, "You want to feel a little bit bigger? You wanna forget what just happened? Do you want to feel better? Then kill her, or any one else... two wrongs make a right... No?"

Vecked smiled, as Alyt shrugged him off, "You look at me like a monster Novice... but I'm more of a hero then you could ever be... does the truth hurt? I'm saving the world, Novice, your lending to its ultimate destruction... change is needed, you and your Brotherhood escalated these worlds to the point of this... do you feel good about that, Novice? You should... this is your life, after all..."

 

The Brotherhood had nothing to do with he state of the worlds. Not all of the Brotherhood at least. This isn't what Scourge truly intended. It couldn't possibly be.

"Unlike you, I'm full of hope for all of these worlds," Novice started slowly, approaching Vecked. "But you...Instead of curing the disease, you're just makin' it worse.."

With that, Novice grabbed Vecked' collar and lifted him up, slamming him into the ship's controls.

"Then take us to the U.P.A base.

OOC: Nulix'll probably explain it better than me...I'm slightly confused, myself...

 

Enigma arrived on the world of Midgar instantly. Within a few moments, he was talking to all the world's leaders. Within a few minutes, he was broadcasting live across on every television set across the worlds.

"This is an emergency broadcast from the world of Midgar," Enigma said, feeling that this was one of the more brilliant things Scourge had ever done. Midgar was one of the worlds most objected to Scourge's rule.

"All across the worlds, hundreds of men and women lie dead. The blame has been put on Scourge, claimed to have become bored with the peace, and so has begun ruthlessly slaughtering those he would deem unworthy, like one of those great holocausts that some of your worlds have been home to in the past. Many of you will accept this as truth; some of you will not."

"I am not here to dissuade you of your opinion," Enigma said. "I am here to deliver one message, and one message alone."

He paused, taking a deep breath, his eyes closing, and for an instant, there was absolute silence. Then his eyes opened, and he spoke the death sentence.

"Scourge will take full responsibility for everything that has happened this day," Enigma said, and the connection ended.

"Novice," Enigma said, from inside the ship, stepping from the shadows. "Put the nice man down."

 

Vecked smiled at Enigma, before grabbing Novice's hand and bending it away from him. "Gentlemen... like I said, I have things to do... more important people to see. Now, I'm not in the mood to play with Pawns... Scourge wants me... he can come and get me..."

Veckd smiled, "By the way... if Scourge should be a bit worried... not just for his people, but his own life... loyalty is something that he's about to find out is not very easy to come by... something to keep in mind... I am in your Brotherhood... I've already ransacked quit a few file cabinets... file cabinets full of names that could be more important to some members then the Brotherhood... just something to keep in mind..."

 

Enigma walked up to Vecked, his right hand slowly withdrawing a dark crystal. "Vecked, Vecked..."

He shook his head. "Whatever gave you the idea that I'm a pawn for anyone?"

Faster than the eye could follow, his kick cracked Vecked in the chest, and Vecked went flying through the gummi ship walls, out into the air, falling...

A split-second later, Enigma was jumping after him, his expression calm as he flipped the dark crystal around his fingers, humming to himself...

EDIT OOC: Urgh, dinner, just a sec.

 

EDIT: Novice glanced at Enigma, before looking back at Vecked. "This isn't right," Novice said, jumping after Vecked and Enigma. "Just isn't right to stop me from doing that a few seconds ago!..."

"So are you going to take us to the U.P.A base or not....." Xane dragged on the end of his words as two things flew out of the mountains of Cosmo Canyon. One of them looked humanoid...the other....appeared to be a box.

 

Skinnar raised an eyebrow, "We don't have a Base in the Dark worlds... silly trog..."

"Ahahahaa!" Vecked laughed as he fell, "This is more like it..." Vecked picked his phone out from his pocket and put it too his ear, "Hello? Aeron... I'm gonna need a pick up.... yeah, its Enigma-"

The phone flew out of Vecked's hand as Enigma punched him in the face, "Ahaha!" Vecked laughed, "Is this making you feel a better, little Enigma?" Vecked mocked, as Enigma hit him again.

Enigma got ready to hit again, but was kicked to the side by Aeron Acteon who teleported beside the two, "You needed a pick up?" Aeron asked...

 

Acteon suddenly felt something heavy land on his back. It was Novice, of course. Novice then leaped off Acteon, moving him out of the way. "Vecked...Care to take a little trip?" Novice asked, hitting Vecked with his own punch.

"You have to have a ship somewhere. Where you operate..." Xane said, wondering what had emerged from the mountain.

Tul Raijin gathered his troops. "It's time," he said. "I see the fourth god..."

 

Enigma shook his head. "You both..."

And suddenly they stopped falling. Darkness surrounded them. Enigma stood on his feet, the dark crystal gone.

Aeron and Vecked stood in the middle of the darkness, Enigma near the edge, Novice a bit behind him.

"These aren't my orders, you know," Enigma said. "But I'm doing this as a favor to someone."

"First, the rules: This is what is known as an infinite dimension, created by the dark crystal. There is a time limit of one hour before the dimension collapses. Until that hour is up, you are mine. You cannot move within 200 feet of me at all times, you cannot teleport outside, etc. Only I can relinquish this, and it happens in one of two ways: by death or by personal choice." Enigma shrugged, and raised a hand, gesturing. "Since the second option is out..."

 

EDIT: (Because of Dk).

"Bye bye, infinite dimension," Aeron said, creating a warp hole, "You see this isn't called teleporting... its called transportation." Aeron explained, while he grabbed Vecked and jumped through the warp hole...

"Captain, we are all ready," A voice said in the headset Skinnar had on, "I'm sorry... I have to leave... bye..." And with that, Skinnar ran off into the distance...

 

OOC: Edit appreciated. But I don't think that counts. He said etc.

BIC: At that instant, all the Guardians of Larenska moved into action...

 

OOC: It has been edited...

BIC: Vecked and Aeron fell back into the Dark dimension. "I guess transportation does count..." Aeron muttered...

 

"Sorry," Enigma said dryly. "I'm a bit smarter than that."

EDIT OOC: Um, just a sec.

BIC: "So, now that we're all enlightened in the fact that there is no escape," Enigma said. "Let's get down to business."

 

OOC: Thinking about it, this post goes rather well with what Novice just said earlier...And that was pretty cheap, Nulix...

BIC: Novice stood there, his arms folded. He waited for it to begin...

Xane scratched his head, and went back into the car, driving off...As he did he said, "Looks like it's starting. Better hurry."

Raijin's Brotherhood troops started to move forward. The god and the box containing the Virus were both in plain sight.

 

Veckd looked at Enigma, "So what are you gonna waste your time on now? Killing us? Slowly? Making us pay? Because you feel that can change... something? That if you cut off the head, the rest of the body will die? Change is coming, the wheels are in motion... I'm afraid theres only one person who can stop it now... well... a few, but the only one who will stop it is Scourge..."

"Whats happening?" Skinnar asked the pilot of the small gummi that picked him up. "Its starting, we got the whole canyon covered... even the sky..." the pilot responded.

"Anyone else here?" Skinnar asked.

"A few..." The pilot said, "They won't get in our way... they can't. We and the Fourth god can control the Virus... they can't... they don't have much options, right?"

Skinnar chuckled, "Right..."

 

OOC: All these edits are making my head spin...

BIC: Zip. Shiva, Magna, Ziya, Patrick, and Simon stood in a line in front of them.

"Good evening," Magna said, bowing. "Conflicting interests at the moment. Pardon us while we stop you from claiming the Virus."

"Oh, shut up," Enigma said irritably. "I'm smarter than you're giving me credit for. I'm not doing this for me, because I know darn well it won't do anything to the worlds. The cards are played, what will happen will happen, and nothing I do to you will change that."

"But, really, you'd think someone as intelligent as you would learn to listen to others," Enigma said. "I told you why I'm doing this."

"And, no, I won't hesitate to hit you first," Enigma said from behind Vecked, his kick connecting with the back of Vecked's head.
