"New friends around every corner, eh?" Nulix chuckled, turning to the beings, "In case you boys haven't heard, the UO's policy is attack first ask questions later..." Nulix put his hand on his gunblade, "But we're feeling kinda tired today, so just tell us what you want and maybe we'll let you live."

Nulix smiled at the beings, before turning his back on them and walking toward his partners. He was bluffing of course, he had no clue if they could win in a fight against these new enemy's, if they we're enemy's at all, but with the Dai Jee on one side, U.P.A. on the other, the UO really didn't need one more group going after them...

 

Gale stood with the others in the underground city, his hand on the hilt of his elemental blade.

meanwhile Wing's portal opened in the ruins of Nibelheim. Wing made his way to the abadoned Mako Reactor and quietly slipped in.


"Hey buddy..." He said, placing a hand on the crystal "tomb" that held Oxyrt's unchanged form.

"Things are changing...so many new enemies...so many new powers. Maybe one of them holds the key into saving you."

Wing sighed as he turned to face the door. The cold wind had opened it slightly, letting snow fall on the metal floor.

"I'll be back Oxyrt...i promise"

Wing zipped up his cloak and put his hood up, flicking his wrists, his keyblades appeared in his hands. Now he was going to practice all the moves he learned by reading the book on Org. XIV

 

Nulix looked at the beings, waiting for them to respond...

 

Bella sighed as she walked alone through the streets. I'm pretty sure...Couldv'e sworn....Maybe it was just wishful thinking.... After the others had gone off, Bellatrix had been about to go after them but stopped when she heard a familiar voice, a member. But when she had gone off to investigate, it looked like she was just hearing things. Now, she was heading into the direction she had seen the others had gone off to....and possibly hearing voices.
"Excuse me miss?" Bella stopped and turned around. No one was in sight. "Oh no..." she muttered quietly before seeing a small package on the floor, "Guess whoever called me left it...Good thing too or I wouldv'e definetely left..." She bent down and examined it thoroughly before carefully picking it up and opening it. Inside was a small black cell phone. She looked at it before reading the letter that came with it, "Blah,blah,blah...keep in touch with your friends...Hm..." She grinned and looked at the small phone, "Finally....Now to the others.They shouldn't be nearby....I wonder if this has bluetooth..." Bella muttered as she tucked the phone into her pocket and continued on her way.

 

"...So...what!?" Xardius finally growled.

The beings looked at each other, then as one, turned and walked into each other.

"If...you...wish...to...pass...you...must...first...depart...from...the...world..."

The beings merged together, slurping together in a rather unsightly and unpleasant way.

"...of...the..."

A being of purple mass and shadow, decked with glowing red-veined armor, a massive rifle in one hand, equipped with a long blade on the other end, and in the other hand, a scythe with a spear butt end.

"LIVING!" it roared, and charged.

Xardius was the first to react, his guns a blur as he fired out his entire round from the semi-automatic chamber into the monster's bulbous head. With a slurp, the thing ate the rounds, not even slowing down, slamming the sword down at Xardius with the crack of thunder. Xardius stepped aside, but was blown back through a building from the shock wave.

 

"Of course..." Nulix muttered to himself as he ran behind a few nearby buildings...

 

OOC: Oh, and about the handguns, Xardius really doesn't use them that much. They're only stun guns anyway, and he only uses those because he's kind of tired of having to kill everyone he fights. He'll still mostly use his swords however, as his guns aren't all that effective.

And since no one else is here, besides Nul and Hidden, and I'm not sure what you guys are going to do with the fight, I might kill this guy for everyone. It'd be nice if you joined in, though, XD.

BIC: Xardius leapt out from the building within seconds and slammed a fire punch into the gut of the monster, which was about a foot taller than him.

With a slurp, his hand sucked in. Xardius gritted his teeth as pain spiked through his arm, and he slowly began sliding into the monster.

"Come now, can't you do better?" the monster hissed, bringing the spear around with a wicked slash. Xardius grunted, and with tremendous effort, ripped his hand free, taking sizzling goo with him.

Glancing at his hand, he shook the goo off, and assumed a fighting position.

"No mortal can destroy me!" the monster roared, slamming the scythe down.

Xardius leaped upwards, landing on the scythe as it blew at him. "Idiot..."

The scythe carried him up and away, throwing him into another building...

 

Following Xardius' lead, Xegreny drew his own guns, when a ringing swoosh rang out. Seconds later, they fell into 5 different pieces. "Damn, they're fast." He muttered, as he dived out of the way of another assault. Flipping over the creature's head, Xegreny tried to land a solid kick, but it seemed like it had been hit by a fly, or a gust of wind. Backing up, Xeg muttered, "This oughta be interesting.."

OOC: That's okay, We need to keep all the characters as individual as possible. It just gets really lame really fast if everyone uses the same weapons/skills/spells. (I.E. Thank god we all don't use Keyblades.)

 

OOC: ...(Sigh*)

BIC: The monster was suddenly bombarded with grenades, all of them exploding on contact. Vecked landed on the ground beside the downed Xardius, and glanced down at him for a second before running back at the monster...

 

OOC: Actually at one point I think we almost did....XD

BIC: "Yo sorry I'm late!" Bellatrix yelled as she ran up to the fight, a black chained sword in her hand and an apologetic grin on her face, " Had something to deal with!" She did a small bow before looking for a way to join in.

 

Xardius stood up and brushed himself off. "Was that...Vecked? Hmph."

Running back onto the field, he rushed past the monster, his Cleaving Dragon rushing out at the creature's knee, managing to cleave a very shallow furrow, before he was smacked into another wall and shot through it with the rifle.

Getting up, he rubbed his chest where the shot had hit him. "If I take another shot like that, this guy might actually blow a hole right through me, instead of cracking ribs."

Gritting his teeth, he swept out Cutting Dragon and walked back into the battlefield.

 

Twirling out of the way of swing's from the creature's scythe, Xegreny shouted, "Yeah, sure, just help us kill this stupid thing!" Ducking under more attacks from the monster, Xeg moved in close, and blasted the thing, close range. It staggered for a moment, and then swept Xegreny with his scythe, sending him flying.

OOC: Brb, dinner.

 

Vecked was keeping his distance, running on the rooftops that surrounded the monster, shooting at it constantly with his gunblades, throwing an occasional grenade. Vecked jumped of the rooftop toward the monster, and stabbed it in the leg with his gunblade, the monster quickly kicked him backwards into a building...

 

Bellatrix looked at the creature and glanced at everyone else before charging at it and throwing her sword at it. It barely made a scratch. Bellatrix quickly pulled it back using the attached chain but before she had a chance the monster grabbed it and used it to throw her to the side, hard. "Ow...this brings back some painful memories..." she muttered, getting back up.

OOC: Gotta go for a bit. Sis needs to do her homework...

 

OOC: All righty, you two.

BIC: Xardius swept by Bellatrix, skimming the ground. The sword smashed downwards, but Darius leaped on it, continuing to skim, flipped over the spear slash, and with a roar of "Dual Dragons!" smashed both swords downwards on the creature's head with a double-bladed slash across the eyes.

A second later, he was sprawling on the ground. Getting up, he rubbed the back of his head.

"Ow, that hurt," he grunted, as the creature fired a shot at him.

Deftly, Xardius dodged, and charged again, this time not as quickly, and more carefully.

"It's time for our duel, dragons," he muttered, as he spun, twisted, and ducked under the monster's tremendous blows.

 

Vecked slowly got up and looked at the monster....

 

Getting up, Xegreny took a running leap. Somersaulting through the air, he slammed his feet into the creature's face. Clapping his hands down on it's ears, he blasted it repeatedly. The creature roared and shrugged him off, and stomped on him with one of its giant feet. Winded and bruised, Xeg stood up. "Yup, definitely broke a rib or two there."

 

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" the creature roared. "All mortals bow before me!"

"Who do you think you are, the Grim Reaper?" Xardius grunted. "You may be strong, but you're just no match for us."

"HAHAHAHA! Your wounds are proof enough," the monster howled.

"Yeah, well, we've fought harder battles," Xardius growled. "And we've taken 'em all down. And you're no exception..."

Summoning his power, he let loose a chain of light slashes that buried themselves into the monster, slicing away the armor and goo and revealing nothing but a skinny old guy.

"WHAAAAAAAT!?" it roared.

"Now!" Xardius yelled at his allies. "Hit him with everything you've got!"

 

Vecked looked at the old man, "...This was the monster...?"

 

Xegreny nodded as he ran up to the creature. Hopping into the air, he gave the old man a wave, before unleashing all of his energy into one huge blast. Staggering back, Xeg fell over "Give, me a sec.. to recover.. from that," he said clearly exhausted.
