BIC: Wing smiled and looked at Xardius, it was like he was seeing him in a whole new light...every one had changed since that first battle they fought together...they had come a long way..and now they were so close to finding all the answers.

"Yeah, and that's all the more reason why we have to save the worlds of Light..."


He then Saw vecked out of the corrner of his eye and walked over to him.

"So, tell me...why are you on our side? i'm not trying to sound ungreatfull or anything I just never heard the reasons why you are with us...is it simply beacuse we're the lesser of three evils?"

 

"And what happens after that? What happens after we save the worlds?" Xane asked. "What're you gonn do, Wing?"

 

Wing looked over to xane waiting for Veckeds answer.

"What will I do? I don't know...go home maybe...and not to Prism...but to the Realm of Light...Gale can claim his right to being the Guardian, and I'll just protect the light for the shadows...you?"

 

Vecked shrugged, "I don't really consider you people evil, I just knew out of all the groups out there, the Ultimate Organization would be the one to help me... I have bad... well, worse history with the U.P.A. and the Dai Jee..." Vecked muttered.

"It's strange with you guys though, when I first met all of you three years ago I didn't really see you as much more then a science experiment... then in the Air Country you guys were actually my enemies, and here, for the time being, your my allies." Vecked said.

 

Xegreny shrugged, "What can we say, we're forgiving people."

Thinking for a moment, Xegreny added, "We'd have to be, I suppose in this crazy universe. You never know who's on who's side. We're so lucky that there's no corruption within our group. It's gonna be boring, sitting around doing nothing, after the whole save-the-universe-again thing is over."

 

"I dunno.....I've kinda got some big plans of my own..." Xane stated.

"A science experiment? That's kinda weird," Xane snorted." Even for you."

"Huh. You never know," Xane started. "There's always something worth fightin' for somewhere."

 

"I was trying to help my friend Ex become a whole being again, I was, at the time, experimenting with Dark Fruit a lot, you guys where all basically my test subjects," Vecked shrugged, "But... I decided to stop doing that stuff after a while..."

"...Maybe. So Xane, if we ever stop doing this kinda stuff, if we finally defeat all evil and go our separate ways, what do you think your gonna do?" Nulix asked,

 

Geryl listened to everything Vecked had said and shook his head. I don't believe that. He said.

 

Wing smirked hearing Veckeds reply and the ensuing conversation that followed.


"So for now, Wind and Flame are united...but for how long...we are still rivals and enemies as you said..."

Wing said with a small sigh.

"Oh well, it can't be helped then. Might as well make the best of it. Vecked, I challenge you to a dual after all of this is over, winner takes all...a fight to near death. After the fight is over we go our seprate ways and thats the end of it. Do you accept?" He held out his hand for vecked to take.

 

Vecked glanced up at Wing and smirked, "Sure." Vecked replied, shaking Wing's hand.

 

Wing shook Vecked's hand as well and smiled.

"I'll show you just how strong I've gotten." He winked and walked over to the elvator doors, debating weather or not to pass the time in Sector 8

 

OOC: Gotta go, might be back later.

 

Xardius watched Wing go in silence.

"If only..." he murmured to himself. "...it had never been born..."

If only I hadn't been born, Xardius thought to himself. A truth that rests on the horizon, waiting for me to grasp it. The memories that I've searched for my whole life. The reason for my existence. I've always felt...like I was born...

"Imperfect," he muttered, then turned and walked after Wing.

OOC: This might seem confusing, but just go along with it.

 

Wing found himself in the dark streets of Sector 8, he slowly made his way over the the fountian that sat in the middle of the square and took a seat on its outter edge and dipped his hand into the lukewarm water.

"Its not home...but at least it sounds the same." He closed his eyes and began to contol little whisps of wind in his hand in rhythem with the sound of the water. He didn't know Xardius had followed him, but he could feel that some one was near him.


"Tell me stoires of twilight...of how the gods sacrificed themselves just so we could all live...tell me why, why I'm meant to be here..."

He began to sing softly, causing some of the passerbys to stop and watch for a few seconds before simply passing on.

"And do they know the places we go when we are gray and old? Can a destiny truly be changed...."

He then hummed the tune and the wind that passed between his hands grew more powerful and began to make the water dance...more people were watching know, they seemed fascinated by the water...Then wing added twilight whisps to the mix, adding some light to the "magic" show.

"So take my hand, we'll find our place....amoung....the Stars"

 

OOC: I would have replied earlier, but my computer froze and I had to restart it, XD.

BIC: Xardius dunked his head in the other side of the fountain, the noise of it swallowing his quiet footsteps as he walked away in Wing's blind spot.

As he walked down into Loveless Avenue, Xardius noted that he was being followed. Ducking into a shop suddenly, he pretended to be viewing some objects and waited.

A few minutes later, a pretty young woman rushed through, looked around, spotted him, blushed, and buried herself in the nearby magazines.

Xardius shook his head, and actually looked at the magazine he was holding, and blinked. "How to Survive Popularity? Give me a break."

Shoving it back in his slot, Xardius stalked out, followed by the girl.

Xardius twisted. "What do you want?"

"Eep!" the girl said, nearly falling over. "Er, uh, are you, in, uh, SOLDIER?"

"I guess so," Xardius said. "They haven't made it official yet."

"Oh, well, official or not, can I get your help with something?" the girl asked, wringing her hands.

Xardius sighed. "What?"

"You see, there's this gang of ShinRa army men that won't leave me alone...They chased me for a full hour last night, and they keep saying mean things, and...I'm scared of them, so, I was wondering if a big strong SOLDIER man could stop them..." the girl said rather quickly.

Xardius blinked. "Bullies, huh..." Xardius choked on laughter, and doubled up. "Is that...all......geez...you want me to beat up a bunch of kids......What a joke..."

"Er, um, sorry to bother you then," the girl said, and began to run off.

"Wait a sec," Xardius said. "Sorry for laughing. It's just...I've had a lot to deal with lately...and it's nice to know that they are still normal people with normal problems around...Thanks, kid. Now, where are those morons?"

"They normally show up at the fountain square about now," the girl said. "I'll take you there."

 

Wing was in the middle of his Magic show, whwn he was pushed suddenly into the foutian


"Heh, sing now moron!" A voice said, and wing saw a young man in a blue uniform with a red scarf and a few others next to him in the same uniform but with greenish blue scarves.

"I don't believe we've met." Wing said, levitating out of the fountian.

"Yeah so what" THe leader said crossing his arms.



"Name's Wing. And I'm not some one youy want to mess with right now."

THe men laughed and the red scaf grabbed wing by the sholders and threw him to the ground. WIng simply stood and shrugged.

"That all?"

The men began to grow angry and Wing began to dodge punches. the crowed that had gathered was now running in fear.

"We control this spot and dont need little freaks like you messin things up!" one of the blue scarf's said. Wing shrugged.

"Then hit me if you really think it'll make you feel better." wing threw his arms out to the side, giving them all clear and free hits.

 

The captain laughed. "Have it your way then!"

He swung for Wing's stomach, but his fist never connected. Instead, it just stopped dead.

Xardius slowly turned his head towards the suddenly sweating captain.

"Big mistake, kid," he growled, and suddenly the captain felt himself free-falling through the air before landing with a heavy thump into the ground.

"So, I hear you like picking on other people, eh? Like that young lady over here, and my good friend here," Xardius said.

"I guess you didn't know," he shrugged. "That retribution always comes in the end."

The captain slowly got to his feet. "Boys...this one's mine...you can kill the blonde one..."

 

".....I've got some ideas," Xane responded vaguely. "Well, I'm goin' to see where the old man and the boy scout went. Watch Mellodia for me."

 

Wing chuclked and began to whistle, causing the winds to rise up, in his hands appeard the keyblade of Gales and the Featherdancer.


"Been awhile since i used you old friend..." he said holding up the keyblade of gales.


"Now then, lets see what you got!" He rushed the two blue scarved privates and knocked them back with an aero spell. the quckly clamored to their feet and drew their guns...bullets wizzed passed Wings head, chest, legs and arms, but he managed to dodge them all, all but one that scraped his right arm, causing him to faulter for split second, making him miss hitting one of the two guards.


The other one however slummed over, blood tricking down his face...he wasn't dead, but he wasn't getting up anytime soon.

the "lucky" guard then shakily fired at Wing again, but Wing cast a twilight Wind spell that not only took the gun from the man, it also destroied it. The ShinRa guard then shouted sometihng Wing didn't understand and threw a barrage of gernades.

"No sweat..." Wing said making "cacoons" of wind around the gernades, making their blasts ineffective.

"You risk the lives of the people you swore to protect?!"

Wing shouted, his keyblades suddenly changed to that of the Twilit Oath keeper and the Blade of the Twilight Realm his hiar turned navy and his ice blue eyes became cloudy...Twilight shot from his body...it was the Gift of the Guardian...Wing's Twilight Form

"How Dare you!" He then caught the now dead scared man in a twilight cacoon blasted it with a barrage of spells. tHe man screamed in Pain and Wing let his unconsious form fall into the fountain. He quickly tied the two of them up and let himself return to normal.


OOC: Hahahaha Wing the boy scout thats funny pirate! lol wow

 

Meanwhile, the Captain was showing a bit more promise.

"Hi-ya! Hi-ya! Hi-YA!" the captain roared as his fists blurred towards Xardius. Xardius barely moved, but dodged every blow.

"You're almost quick," Xardius mused.

"Grrrrrrrr," the captain yelled. "Take this! ShinRa Captain First Technique: Storm Thrust!"

Wind twisted around the captain's fist, and he snapped it up at Xardius.

"Cut the crap," Xardius said as the captain's fist didn't even reach to his chin unless the captain jumped. "Just take it like a man."

Xardius twisted and let fly a punch that sent the captain up on his toes. Coughing the captain sunk back down to his heels.

"It should begin now," he muttered.

Xardius frowned, then reeled back as sound exploded in his ears.

"Wh-what is this!?" Xardius growled, grabbing his ears.

"Your doom, foo'!" the captain screamed, snap-kicking Xardius in the head. Xardius didn't seem to notice.

"GRAAAAAAH!" the captain screamed, hitting Xardius fifty-two times on the head.

Xardius drew his hands away from his ears. "Don't break your hand."

"Owowowowowowowowow! You'll pay for this!" the captain roared. "Insolence! I'll have your head!"

"I seriously doubt that," Xardius muttered. "I'll give you one more shot, then I'm taking you down."

"ShinRa Captain Ultimate Technique!" the captain bellowed. "Death Blow!"

The captain leaped in the air, and brought his fist down in a crushing blow to Xardius' shoulder. Xardius shrugged, and the captain fell over.

"You're pathetic," Xardius said, picking the captain up by his red scarf. "What kind of man chases young woman around?"

"Virgins!" the captain screamed.

Xardius' face took on a distinctly cloudy expression. "You're dead."

"No, you are! AHAHAHAHAHA! Eat a grenade!" the captain yelled, shoving a live one under Xardius' nose.

"That's it!" Xardius cried. Throwing the captain into the air, he knocked the grenade into the fountain, leaped up, and slammed the captain into the ground with enough ferocity to crack the pavement.
