"Oh ----!" Xegreny swore. "Get a doctor, in here, quick!" Xegreny yelled at the soldiers. Running over to Xardius, he ripped off his sleeve to make an impromtu-gauze pad. Pressing it down on one of the many cuts he yelled at the soldiers, "What're you doing!? He's gonna die if you stand there. Imagine what your director would say if you casually let a 1st class SOLDIER die?" Xegreny barked at the soldiers, who ran out of the room. Pulling out his phone with one of his not-bloody hands, he sent everyone a text message, telling them what happened.

OOC: You owe me a sleeve. :|

 

OOC: I'll try to remember that...XD.

BIC: "Thanks..." Xardius said. "Sorry...about that..."

Slowly, he pushed himself up. "I'll be fine...Don't worry about me..."

He coughed up blood, and sank to his knees. "Haven't been in this situation...for a while...Stupid sword..."

 

Completely ignoring Xardius, Xegreny waved the doctors in. "Your hurt, see all the blood? You need medical attention."

Walking over to the doctor, he quietly said, "If he tries to reject your help, put him under an anesthetic or something, okay? He needs your help, don't let him try and dissuade you."

The doctors nodded, and wheeled a trolley over to Xardius.

 

"I said...I'll be fine..." Xardius growled, standing up abruptly. "Because I can do...this..."

Flames jetted up on him suddenly, closing his wounds. Spitting out grit, he walked forward.

"Just give me some water," he muttered. "And make sure Sephiroth doesn't die. If he gets killed by the Masamune, that's it for him..."

"And I don't just mean dead," Xardius continued. "Everything he did, everyone he's interacted with...It'll be like he never existed...Because he won't have..."

 

"Or.. he could do that. Yeah, you guys should go help Sephiroth, we're SOOOO screwed if he dies." Xegreny said, sending the doctors back.

"What the hell happened in there, why'd you go crazy and all? And how many super-magical swords do you own?! I mean seriously, Chomper, Dual Dragons (that counts as two.), and now a Masamune?" Xegreny asked Xardius.

 

Xardius shrugged as the doctors left.

"My memories are completely screwed...I can't remember much past the point where I became a Nobody...I remember training Coa...bits and pieces anyway," Xardius said, his eyes distant. "But...memories of before that...they disappeared a while ago...and I don't remember why...Pieces will come back to me, but it's excruciatingly painful, and I didn't want to kill Sephiroth in my blind pain...So I used the Masamune."

Xardius looked at Xegreny. "As for the magical swords, I have the Dual Dragons, the Dueling Dragons (which is formed from the Dual Dragons), Ryukai, Shurunrai, Chuyikai, Chomper and its strengthened form, and the Masamune, all of which I keep in crystals that only I can summon."

He shrugged. "I almost never use the Masamune for the reason that it messes up the very fabric of existence, it rips apart my body, and if I do ever kill anybody, it steals a piece of my soul...However, it's also one of the reasons I can't lose..."

Xardius gritted his teeth. "One day, I'll destroy it and go die in battle somewhere like I should have a long time ago...but until then..."

 

"And THAT'S why I didn't want a Keyblade oh so long ago. Magic Swords are always double bladed. Super strong, with a price. I guess, after everything that has happened to you, it's natural to forget stuff. But, it's really not all that great. I remember everything from before I died. Crystal clear. Every word, every mistake, every person. But, that doesn't sound like a very fun way to die. Wouldn't you want to like settle down, or die of old age? Besides, you'd have to stand there and let them hit you to be killed by any normal foe." Xegreny replied.

 

Xardius shrugged. "True enough. But I...really don't have a reason to live, y'know."

The doors whistled open behind them.

"So, you're the one who defeated the great Sephiroth on your first day in SOLDIER, eh?" the man standing there said. "Don't worry, he'll live."

"Who are you?" Xardius asked.

"I'm a member of the UPA," the man said. "The name is Killigan. Technically, I'm just a lackey, but I must say, I'm very impressed by your prowess."

"Did you come here to pick a fight?" Xardius growled. "Mentioning UPA isn't really productive to your health."

"Actually, it was more of a resignation," Killigan said. "I just wanted you to know that I happen to know where the man you're looking for is...Richards, isn't it? If you're interested, meet me at midnight...and don't go after my superior here..."

Killigan left with a nod.

Xardius shook his head. "One word: Trap."

 

"Yeah, pretty much. We could always go anyway. That Killigan didn't look too tough, and you've been hogging all the fighting lately.. I'm sure we could handle most anything the U.P.A. can throw at us. Besides, if we get captured, they'll bring us right to Richards!" Xegreny said. He hated knowing that they were probably going to walk right into an obvious trap, but it was their only lead.

 

Xardius shrugged. "I'll meet you in the lobby at midnight then...See you later..."

And Xardius walked out.

OOC: If you'd like, we can wait for someone else to get on, or we can move on straightaway...In which case, we'll have to make sure it's a good location...

 

OOC: Well, today, I had a huge lunch at a brunch for Mothers Day, so it's fend-for-yourself for dinner. So, I'll go have a snack/dinner, and then we'll see who's on when I get back(?).

 

OOC: I'll watch an anime episode...

 

OOC: Ooh, what anime? :X

OOC: I'm not sure if I like it or not.... It's called Shuffle!, and I'm having to watch it subbed because it hasn't been released in the US yet. I'm watching it to decide whether or not I want to watch it when it comes out in the US...

And no, I don't think anyone else is on. Wanna keep going?

BIC: Xegreny checked his phone's clock. Midnight on the nose. Walking into the lobby, he rolled his shoulders, waiting for swarms of soldiers to attack or something. "Helloooo?" he called out to nobody in particular.

 

"Yo, boyo!" Killigan said.

"Don't say boyo," Xardius said, walking up behind Xegreny. "So where's Richards?"

"Well, it's complicated," Killigan said. "I want you to promise to protect me first of all."

"Protect you?" Xardius asked, raising an eyebrow.

"By defecting from the UPA, I may be, er, taking information with me that I wasn't ever supposed to have in the first place. So I want protection." Killigan shrugged.

Xardius sighed and nodded. "Fine."

"He's on the world of..." Killigan began.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here," another voice said as another UPA agent stepped out from behind a corner. "A traitor in our midst."

"Uh, yeah, protection time," Killigan said.

"I am known as Veedoc," the UPA agent growled. "Eat bullets."

Pulling out two pistols, Veedoc started firing straight at Xardius and Xegreny.

OOC: I got back...and I missed the damn obligatory Sephiroth fight!?

BIC: Xane, who was watching everything quietly said, "Veedoc? Who names you people?" as he cracked his knuckles.

 

OOC: Hidden and Pirate just logged on. :D

BIC: Xegreny chuckled as he threw Kiligan under a bench. "Learn to play buddy!" Xegreny said, as he jumped out of the way of the bullets. Rebounding off the wall, he roundhouse kicked Veedoc in the face, and blasted him, sending him reeling.

 

"Damn, Xegreny. I was gonna do somethin' like that." Xane said, scratching his head.

 

"It's about time I got to though. I mean, you guys always steal it from me, y'know?" Xegreny joked. "Shall we?" Xegreny said, with a motion to Veedoc, who was getting back to his feet.
