The Ultimate Organization III+.5

OOC: Thats a real shame.

BIC:Ecko dodged the shots, hitting the ground roughly as a result...

 

OOC: Seems like you guys didn't finish. I'm guessing that most of the Brotherhood fights are going to take about one to two hours each...

The plan is going to be something like this:

Ulian Ecko Fight

The group splits up because there's several ways through the maze, but no clear cut one. They hope to regroup later.

They each find Brotherhood members in the maze and fight them. Some UO members meet up and keep going. The maze part will probably be the longest part, as there will be multiple Brotherood battles.

Eventually, they all enter the ruins at different locations, fight Brotherhood, and regroup in the center of the ruins. They decide to stick together from now on, and start climbing up the ruins. At each floor, there will be something new, and there are about nine floors.

The final floor will be Scourge.

 

OOC: Dk, that sounds incredibly systamatic and boring. That outline is basically a video game.

 

Pharell quickly drew a Sora System MK-99 and opened fire on the downed body of Ecko.

 

"You would think after all we've been through, they'd at least remember about me every once in a while..." Bellatrix complained, dusting herself off as she picked herself up after having fallen out of the portal. She hadn't landed too gracefully either she realized as she straightened herself, feeling a small pain in her back. She winced but ignored it, knowing it would go away sooner or later.
She bent down again to pick up a small, red, leather bound journal that was open to a page full of crossed out names. As she flipped through the pages to make sure the journal was alright, there were a few names with annotations next to them. Some even had names of locations of other worlds. Satisfied with its contents, she snapped it shut and looked around.
"Its been a while, I wonder if they'd still recognize me.." she muttered, a note of worry in her voice. She wasn't radically different considering it really hadn't been too long but her hair was shorter, a little past her shoulders, and her clothes were slightly different. They were like the original black cloak but the sleeves had been made wider with silver runes on the cuffs and there was a design of wings in silver on the back. The length of it was a couple inches of the ground and silver chains were criscrossing the back of the modified cloak on the lower half. It had a large collar that could cover her mouth and there was nothing to close the cloak like buttons or straps, rather it was left open to reveal a black tank top and black leather pants that allowed easy mobility. She also wore a chain studded belt and boots. Her eyes were changing from obsidian to silver.
Now as she looked over herself, her eyes wandered to the journal again. It had the names of everyone who had ever joined the Ultimate Organization and seeing as how they might need help, she had decided to see which members could help them out. Unfortunately, Lady Luck hadn't joined her on her mission.

"Geez, so many gone.." Xavier muttered, wrapped up in a simple black cloak as he drank some whiskey and looked through the journal, "And you risked your life just for this?"
"Well not really" Bellatrix muttered, looking annoyed at her temporary companion as she drank some water. He was handsome with spiky black hair with electric blue highlights and ice blue eyes with flecks of gold. He had tanned skin and was rather tall but lanky. He had been a childhood companion of Bella who seemed almost godlike, even then. She had no memory strangely but the feeling he was someone who had been with her since her earliest days. He was strange and seemed to do even the most difficult things without even a tiny bit of effort. "I just got roughed up, besides its to see if there's anyone who used to be with is would still be willing to join again"
"Heh, looks like there's plenty that can't" Xavier chuckled, noticing Bella's glare, "You know Trixi-"
"Don't call me that!" Bellatrix snapped, suddenly standing up. The people in the bar stared at her, interrupted in their idle chatter. She turned a bright red and sat down again, waiting for everyone to turn back around, "I mean... This part of my life isn't over yet. No way I'm quitting so easily this time"
"But you always do" Xavier pointed out, "You're just a support, they wouldn't miss you"
"You'd be surprised" Bella growled.Xavier chuckled again.
"Fine, fine" he muttered, throwing the journal back to her, "If you want to help them so much, why aren't you with them? They need all the help they can get and seeing that, you'd think it be more help if you were there than confirming what they already know"
Bella turned a bright red, looking away, "I don't even know where they are" she admitted in a small voice. Xavier smiled under the hood and pulled out a small manila folder, "Here, the last of the info you'll need"
She quickly grabbed it and leafed through the small stack of papers. She gasped and looked up to thank him, only to see his drink lying next to the unpaid bill.
"Of course..." she sighed, smiling.

And without much trouble, she had found the portal just in time for her to jump in just as the instructions said in the folder. She was pumped up, eager to see her friends again and get back on the battle front.
Now, if only she knew where they had gone this time...

Oh, Nulix... it's just the basic plan. Expect this. It won't necessarily be what you get... Heh heh...

And Xardius is currently a long ways away, so...He'll show up after the Ecko fight is over...

OOC: That was awesome Hidden. And Mr. 36, would I really be me if I wasn't overly critical of everything even if there isn't any real problem? I just do it to improve things. Harsh criticism is the answer to all life's problems. That and having lots of money.

BIC: Ecko rolled to the side until he reached a corner...

 

OOC: Actually, in my Creative Writing class, we just got through the feedback stage. Harsh criticism doesn't work all the time...just a lot of the time, XD.

But money works all the time. So long as you have control...

BIC: Xardius stepped on a banana peel and fell over.

 

OOC: Very cool sig Hidden! Is it Bella and Vexneah?

BIC: The darkness swirled in the mid-afternoon breeze. The town once known as Maroon was little more then ash and memories now. Those that survived took refuge in Red City and began rebuilding their lives. The gods of the land could do little more then weep, and usher the innocent souls through the heavens. Crissilia shook her head and clenched her fists till blood slipped through her fingers.
"damn vecked..."

she whispered through her tears. she had seen enough and so she left the other gods to handle the guiding. Cerina was nice this time of year, so she decided to sit on the clifs and watch the waves crash below her.

"Pretty isnt it?"

a young mans voice said softly from behind her.

She turned to see the sandy brown haired boy with royal blue eyes. he wore black pants with a long sleeve white button up shirt hidden beneath a tight black leather vest and light violet scarf that seemed to dance in the wind. he had a kind and warm smile which rivaled the sun itself.

her eyes grew wide and filled with tears of happiness.

"oh please tell me I'm not seeing things!"

she wrapped her arms around the boys neck and kissed him passionately. he lightly pulled her arms down and laughed softly.

"well that was different." he looked deep into her eyes, watching as they swirled with twilight. his seemed to mimic hers for an instant, confirming his identity.

"How? I don't understand!"

He smiled and shook his head before looking out into the navy blue water, as the sun reflected off its surface and on to him, making him appear as if he was glowing.

"Well, when the bomb went off, I was sure I was done for. But at the last second the God of Iceving falls pulled me into the the heavens and made a deal with me."

Crissilia hung on every word, her nails slowly digging into his arm.

"Now I know that being a phoenix, I would have been reborn anyways, but I decided to make his deal."

"What, what deal?"

He smiled and looked into her eyes.

"I gave up my phoenix form. He activated the power inside me, so I'm always in "phoenix form", in exchange for the phoenix he let me live, and made it so the time on my soul wouldn't end with Scourge. I'll be reborn into a new life, just like I always have been."

Crissilia cocked her head to the side, slightly confused.

"Sorry, I'm not to good at explanations. Let's see, how can I put this...I kept the power, but lost the ability to be reborn like a phoenix. My soul has been purged of that curse and the darkness that comes with it. Phoenix powers are addictive, and corrupt the soul they empower. The God recognized this and made me the deal. Now when I die, my soul will pass into the next life, but it wont be reborn to fight Scourge again, it will be reborn into a peaceful time, where I can help people and train the warriors of tomorrow instead of constantly fighting from life to life."

Crissilia nodded, seeming to understand the situation a little better now. He wasn't different at all, in fact this was the Wing she gave her power to, the Wing that existed before Inverted Prism, the Wing that was determined to save his country single handedly. He was softer again, but much more powerful, he was...happy. She smiled and hugged him again, just glad to see him alive and well, no perfect.

"So what will you do now?"

Wing sighed, but kept the same smile.

"I'll do what I've always done, protect those that can't protect themselves from those that wish to cause pain and suffering."

"you never change." She said softly, taking his hand in hers and drawing on the back of it with her index finger. "Do you need my power?"

Wing squeezed her hand gently. "You've given me your power. You entrusted it to me a long time ago, and have done more then enough for me already. This time i'm going to rely on the power and skills I've learned during my travels."

He threw his left hand out towards the ocean, opening a twilight portal.

"What about the virus?"

Wing smirked looking back at her.

"Vecked can't use it till he gets to the skypit, the knights there have been alerted to his betrayal, so I'm not to worried. I'll destroy it, just like I said I would."

"And the brotherhood?"

"Are going to pay for all they've done. Rune will be freed, and Xardius saved. Then I'll work on restoring Twilight Town and the Realms..."

Crissilia smiled and shook her head. "You always have some kind of plan. Now get going, and dont forget to come back okay? I miss you Coa..."

He nodded and saluted her with his trademark two fingered salute, the one he invented to mock the knights, before flying through the portal and landing next to Bella, Xane, Venture, Skinner, Mellodia, Alyt, and all the others he had come to call his friends.

"Hey." He said walking up to Xane. "Let's say we end this together okay?" He held out his hand and smiled. "Just like old times."

And yes, they are, although I messed up on one of Bella's XD

BIC: Bella grinned and shouted, "C'mon guys, let's show him what the UO is made of!"

 

OOC: Yay, I'm glad Wing's OK! (I wasn't too worried...Okay, I was a little bit worried...)

Ah, STAR SEEKER WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!?!?!? *sob*

 

Xane smirked and shook Wing's hand.

"Let's go then," Xane told the others. "Looks like we got a kind of maze to trek through first..."

 

OOC: Yippee, the gang's all here!

 

"just another test" Wing said putting his arms behind his head

 

"Looks like it," Xane nodded, looking back to see Pharell fire another few rounds at Ecko.

 

Xardius finally appeared. "Ah, Wing, Bellatrix, you're both here! I'm glad you're okay, Wing, and Bellatrix, it's really good to see you."

He clapped his hands. "For some reason, that throw energized me, so let's sidle around this ectoplasm dude, and get into that maze!"

OOC: Yeah, that's not Xardius...What have you done with him, you fiend!?

BIC: Xardius walked to the maze and turned in a semi-circle. Grunting, he sighed.

"There's too many paths..." he muttered. "I don't know which one leads to the main ruins. We'll probably have to split up. Does anyone have a problem doing that?"

 

"Not really," Xane said. "How are we gonna split up? Three of us and Skinnar take the northeast path, while three of us take the southern one?

 

OOC: Sorry bout that...

BIC: Xardius shook his head. "Look just a little ways down...the paths split into more and more parts...we'll have to do this single-handed."

"As for Skinnar," Xardius said. "I dunno what we're going to do with him."

"Allow us to be of assistance," Tyre said as he and Highwind appeared out of a portal. "We found out you were here through some crazy tech stuff, and Highwind here will be happy to take Skinnar for a little jaunt through the maze."

Highwind opened his cell phone, and pressed a button. A small projection appeared, a map of the maze.

"As you can see, the maze looks messy," Tyre said, "but all the routes eventually lead to the main ruins."

"Then why don't we just choose one?" Xardius grumbled, turning for one.

"Because your goal isn't just to kill Scourge, is it?" Tyre asked. "If even one member survives to point a finger at you, you're, put bluntly, screwed. You'll have to catch all of them."

"Dang it," Xardius muttered. "We have to split up."

 

"That sounds interesting," Xane said, rubbing his chin. "I guess I'll go along that path to the right, past those giant trees."
