The Ultimate Organization III+.5

Marlene missed with her swing, and overbalanced, tripping on the chains, but managed to flip back onto her feet. However, she was unstable and wide open...

 

Bellatrix seized the opportunity and grabbed the dagger at the other end of her chain. She charged forward and aimed for the the vulnerable Marlene, certain this battle was over.

 

Marlene saw Bellatrix coming out of the corner of her eye, and thrust an arm behind her.

"Twilit Verdict 7: Disruption!" Marlene cried, and twilight flew from her hand to strike the dagger. It crumbled to pieces before the end of the chain slammed into Marlene, sending her stumbling to the ground.

She flipped over onto her feet, and pulled her sword back, ready to slice down at Bellatrix...

 

Bellatrix raised her left arm to defend herself, biting her lip as pain shot through her at the same time the sword met her arm, thankful the sleeves at least helped somewhat. She pulled out a concealed dagger, the only one she ever carried other than the now useless ones on her chains, and aimed for Marlene's stomach...

 

Marlene saw the dagger, and tried to dodge. However, having stabbed Bellatrix's arm made her slower and she took the dagger straight in one of her kidneys. Pain shot through her and she screamed, falling back to the ground in a heap.

"Fine," Marlene said, gasping for breath. "You can keep your face."

Her head hit the ground as she fell unconscious...

OOC: That was fun, but I had to go so...at least, you're caught up now Hidden! Yes! Yes! Yes!

BIC: Bellatrix sighed in relief, glad that was over. She wiped the dagger clean and stuffed it back into its hidden sheath. With a small grin, she turned around and decided to run the rest of the way, eager to see her friends.

 

OOC: Don't forget your arm, Bella! XD

BIC: Enigma stepped out of the portal a few moments later, staring at Marlene.

"You didn't even use your other form..." Enigma sighed. "You should have tried at least..."

Marlene rolled over. "I don't like fighting...And I didn't want to hurt her too bad. After all, she was a really good friend before..."

Enigma didn't answer, but looked up at the castle. "They're going to go in soon. I have to be there."

Marlene chuckled as she sat up. "Try not to die."

Enigma looked at her, and smiled. "Before I go, I guess I'll give you a little boost..."

 

Wing had grown tired of waiting on the others, and decided to start looking for them to make sure they were all okay. The small twilight strings were all still leading to them, but he hoped they lead to living people, and not their corpses. He didn't walk to far before seeing Xardius coming over top a hill. He waved and flashed a smile.

"About time! I was getting worried!"

He saw the expression on Xardius's face, and his mood sank.

"What's up?" He asked, looking down the hill. He saw Xane, mellodia, Venture, Alyt, some one he hadn't met before, and Tera Roth.

"Tera?" His eyes grew wide and he looked back and forth between Xardius and the Ghost, or what should have been a ghost, of Tera Roth.

"What's going on?" He asked folding his arms over his chest.

 

"Wonder whaere he went," Xane asked, referring to Tera Roth. " "cause I'm pretty sure we saw him die."

"Looks like I'm up next," Novice noted. "They'd better be up to it..."


OOC: And now...I wait.

 

Lexx sat in the large mainframe room of the U.P.A. There were a group of gunners and hackers around him. He had known of the group for a while, a anti-government hacking group. All they needed was an inside man. Lexx was that man. He wasn't getting anything from this. He just didn't out of anger to the U.O., to the world, to Skinnar. And now, that he had actually pulled it off he wished he hadn't. There was no escape now, he would either die or go to prison. Lexx sighed, "God damn it..." He muttered...

 

As Lexx sighed, an incoming radio signal emanated from the room. With the communications being shut down, the only explanation was that the signal was coming from a makeshift source. These people were expect hackers, you know.

The signal continued to sound, hoping for someone to respond to it.

 

"Its coming from somewhere in the Dark Worlds!" A hacker announced, "We don't think its in a U.P.A. occupied sector!"

Lexx nodded, "Send it through then..."

 

"Lexx!" Pharell's voice echoed through the radio. "Its me. Pharell Titan. Don't be alarmed, I've resigned from the U.P.A. I've just received quite an offer a few minutes ago and was told to extend an invitation to you as well. Interested?"

 

Lexx's fingers quickly clicked the record button. "Very. Please, continue..."

 

"The message was from the Evuyan System. Far, far from Ulfire," Pharell explained. "The Tryptian Alliance to be exact. They're one of the three major governmental systems throughout Evuyan. The Brotherhood member, Ravakov? A spy in their employ. Their main purpose is to end the war in this system before it can threaten theirs. The only way they believe they can do this is by completely wiping out both sides of the conflict."

Pharell paused, letting everything sink in, before continuing.

"Needless to say, it's a little too late for that. The conflict is growing at a vast rate. Far too fast for them to control with just Ravakov at their side. So, right now their planning a little operation that they're calling EES. Emergency Espionage Situation. Any questions so far?"

 

"Yeah, what war?" Lexx asked...

 

"Lexx..." Pharell states. "Of course no one in the U.P.A calls it a war, but that's what the conflict between the U.P.A, Brotherhood, Ulfire System, the Knight,s Guardians, Ultimate Organization, and whoever else is involved is, damn it! They can hide it from the public all they want, but soon, Cotaxus' sugar coated lies are all going to melt away."

Pharell gave himself a movement to cool down.

"Anyway, the Tryptian Alliance has already begun the EES," Pharell explained. "How? They have the pinnacle of stealth technology. Top of the line. Completely undetectable by any source within our three main systems. Made it easy for a few dozen soldiers to infiltrate."

 

"Ah yes..." Lexx muttered, "The state of conflict, tension, and competition between Ulifre and Sora that eventually led to a truce that did eventually include the former rulers of the Dark Worlds, the Brotherhood..."

"Truth be told, this isn't really a war," Lexx muttered. "Its just a combined attempt to get rid of the Ultimate Organization. And then, after they die, Ulfire and Sora will get rid of another drifting organization, the Brotherhood. And then, after the Brotherhood's gone, the Ulfire Empire will attempt to destroy Sora... and the way things are going, they will succeed."

Lexx eyes drifted into a haze, "The wars over, now its just us, us people... fighting for what?"

A loud bang suddenly rattled the room. The guard were trying to break through again. Lexx sighed. "So now, a few minor systems, come together and hatch a plan to stop a theoretical future conflict. Now, Sora might fall, but not until Ulfire has lost interest. They want the west for themselves, alright? They will not let this happen, trust me."

 

"No,no,no," Pharell said, shaking his head, though Lexx could not see him. "The Evuyan System is not a minor system at all! Listen Lexx...This is not going to work out in the end for either major group involved. The Ultimate Organization will succeed. Ulfire, the UPA, the Brotherhood, will fall. And to the Tryptian Alliance, they're just pawns on the board. Skinnar's missing for Heaven's sake! The Hairis is missing! Well taken prisoner, really, but he's gone in the eyes of the people! Cotaxus is running the U.P.A into the ****ing ground! Don't you understand, Lexx? All that we've tried to stand for is being twisted against us!"

 

"No... just what you know is changing..." Lexx said, "Things are the same... you soldiers still fight for the people of Sora, you'r just now big enough to see the dirt dealing. And hey, the U.P.A. might fall, just as the Knights did, replaced, maybe, and years from now Sora might fall. The Hairis can be replaced, hell the military can be replaced. The systems are designed to be fixable."

Lexx sighed, "You know what I think? I think Sora's killed itself. Its put itself into a hole from all the wars they've fought. Now they're weak, while Ulfire's strong..."

Lexx glanced up at the time. It had been days since he slept. "I'm gonna die in here, I don't really care, Titan... I really don't. But, if you want my opinion the UO can't win. They never have. But Sora can't win either without the Virus. If they get that they are suddenly unstoppable. Sora can recreate itself if it has the ultimate weapon behind it..."
