The Ultimate Organization III+.5

"Wing!" Venture announced suddenly. "We're heading toward the Galactica Strip. You're stop's coming up. We've prepared a EK Stealth Cruiser for you to travel in."

 

Wing looked at Venture confused.

"oh okay..."

H stood up and headed toward the Hangar. Engima's gaze chilling him to the bone

 

"Xardius," Enigma said as Wing began walking away. "You don't know who Tera Roth's brother is, right?"

Xardius nodded slowly. "I never found out."

"Would it surprise you to know that it's Dyran Dirge?" Enigma asked with that smile still on his face.

Xardius shrugged. "It explains why they look alike."

Enigma stood. "Well, I have to go now, but I'll see when you...attack."

Waving, he opened a portal and disappeared.

Xardius sighed. "I hope he doesn't rat us out...Scourge might want us to kill him, but I doubt any of the other members even have wind of his plan. None of them will want to die."

EDIT: "Venture, where is Wing going?" Xardius asked after a moment, walking up. "I didn't hear anything about this..."

 

Vecked suddenly grabbed Wing by the shoulder. "And this is the part where I take what I need. The Virus now, Wing." Vecked pulled a pistol out with his free hand. "No need for this to get messy."

BIC: Xardius twisted. "What are you doing Vecked!?"

 

Wing smirked and ducked under the pistol, in a split second his keyblade was at Vecked's throat.

"I knew you'd betray us. That whole time you had it, and you did nothing. why now? Never mind I don't really care. I'm not letting you take the virus. It needs to be destroyed, you cant control it Vecked"

 

"Wing was supposed to take his leave to destroy the Virus and meet up with us later," Venture sighed, glancing at Vecked. "But, now that vked's finally decided to show his true colors..."

"Go figure," Xane said, standing up. "Knew you couldn't be trusted for too long. This is about the fifth time you've teamed up with us, only to betray us, anyway."

 

Vecked just smiled, "I don't want to control it."

Vecked ducked under the keyblade, sending a jet of flame at Wing's feet as he did. His gunblade was now out, ready for action. Vecked shot a few more flames in the air, before shooting rapidly at Wing...

 

Xardius' fists clenched. "Venture, I hope this thing has a really good hull...If we're going to fight, we've got to take this somewhere else...Wing, get Vecked through this portal!"

He extended a hand and opened a portal to the twilight, gasping with the strain since he wasn't a twilight user. "Hurry!"

 

"Careful," Venture muttered. "You don't know how much work I put into this ship..."

Xane charged at Vecked, spinning around to aim a kick at his chin.

 

Wings free hand was flying, sending out spells to counter Veckeds fire.

"you want to fight? then follow me!" he opened a twilight portal and jumped through. the twilight corridors in his sight, a wide open space, no one could get hurt.

 

"Why did I bother...?" Xardius growled, closing his portal. "Never mind." Xardius dove into the portal after Wing.

 

"Give it to me!" Vecked yelled, jumping through the portal. They were in a field, with a forest around them. It was maybe an Ulfire estate, or somewhere on Ceegum. Didn't matter now, though.

"You idiots!" Vecked said, twirling his keyblade around quickly. "To destroy such a power, such a creation! Why would kill a god?! Why!" Vecked sent a jet of flame down the field, causing the green grass to catch flame. "Wing, I will get that Virus. I can, and, if it comes to it, I will kill you to get to it."

 

"You've both got it wrong!" Xardius said, standing in the flames untouched. "I'm taking the Virus, got it!?"

He extended a hand. "Wing, give me the Virus!"

 

Xane came flying through the portal, making sure his attack would still connect with Vecked.

"Man, you betrayin' us is completely understandable," Xane shrugged. "But, I thought you're insane megalomaniac phase was over."

 

Wing hit the ground and flew back into the air, he had passed into his Phoenix form, and all four keyblades swarmed around him.

"I can kill you too, and god or no god, this Virus will be destroyed!" THe blades surrounded Vecked as he fell towards the burning earth of the forgotten Ruber Fields on Prism. Wing's home town lay just beyond the forest.


"I wont let you take it either!" He yelled back at Xardius. He knew the wraith was in control for the moment, and both of them would enter Phoenix from soon

 

"I know what you're thinking!" Xardius snarled. "But..."

"Xane!" Xardius yelled, grabbing him. "It's about to get crazy. Unless you want to die...Get back through that portal!"

Throwing Xane backwards, Xardius extended his hands and with a wordless roar let it out.

Power smashed down like a hammer, three times what Wing was holding. The earth was literally cracking away from him as Xardius simply let his power flood him, letting it grind its way through him, jetting outwards in a steady stream.

"You feel this!" Xardius roared. "I can't control it forever! I need the Virus to stop my power from going...! I don't want to go insane!"

Pulling his sword out, Xardius pointed it at Vecked, then slowly pointed it at Wing.

"I don't want to fight you, Wing!" Xardius said. "But I'll do what I have to. I will have the Virus!"

 

Vecked smirked before disappearing. He reappeared behind Wing, his gunblade's at Wings throat. He opened his mouth to say something but Wing's keyblades knocked him away. He reappeared a second later, his hand reaching for Wing's pocket. After a second Vecked held the Virus sphere in his hand. "Look what I got!" Vecked chuckled, before teleporting back to the burning ground.

"Xardius! You want it!?" Vecked called, "Come and take it!"

 

The next instant Xardius' blade was flashing for Vecked's throat as he streaked across the battlefield, letting his sword lead the way.

 

Wing suddenly felt alone. It was him versus Xardius the original Phoenix, and Vecked the Phoenix experiment that went right. He was the Wing spirit, the Twilight Guardian. He wasn't going to lose.


"You don't need the Virus to contain your power Xardius. You have enough will to contain your sanity. Vecked, you're being selfish! There is no need for this fight!"

His power surged and the keyblades fuzed into one. The Twilit Areo. He gasped the blade with two hands and went after Vecked. He knew he could handle him at least.
