OOC:Power kicked off again....

Got it working a few minutes ago.

BIC:*Darxess got back up after what felt like a coma*
*He shot to his feet, but nearly fell back down again, catching himself on his knee*
Orb:"That was a close call, master."
Darxess:"Its getting worse...whatever started as chronic sleeping is now evolving into something more dangerous."
Orb:"Indeed, but your body shows no sign of infection."
Darxess:"That's because the source is not an infection. I thinks its a curse."
Orb:"Great...like we need more of those."
*Darxess sighed*
"At any rate, let's regroup. On the bright side, no one else will be infected, this curse seems to be only aimed at me."
Orb:"I'm right behind you."
*Darxess followed the closest signal to the nearest members of the Ultimate Organization*
Darxess:"Umm...Orb?"
Orb:"Yes?"
Darxess:"What should I say to them? Its kind of been a while..."
Orb:"Your their leader, yet you don't even know what to say to your own men?!"
*Darxess made a nervous chuckle and reached back and scratched his head*
*Orb sighed*
Orb:"You really are clueless aren't you?"
Darxess:"Hey!"
Orb:"Fine. What you need to say is..."
Darxess:"Yes? I'm waiting..."
Orb:"I don't know."
*Darxess facepalmed*
Darxess:"YOU IDIOT!"
Orb:"Hey, at least I'm not the one who doesn't know how to address his own troops!"
*They both sighed*
Darxess:"I guess we'll just have to "Wing" it."
*Darxess chuckled at his own joke while Orb just sighed at how stupid it was*
*Darxess finally reached the other members and waved*
Darxess:"Hey remember me? You know, old guy, chronic sleeping habit, supposed to be your leader but can't lead worth a flip and all that jazz?"

 

Xane nearly did a doubletake when he noticed Darxess appear next to them.


"Uh, sir! We found the prisoner!" Xane said quickly. "Yeah, this one escaped a while ago. He's one of those dangerous Ultimate Organization people."

Xane looked over at Darxess and muttered. "Darxess, we're trying to sneak into this military base in the Ulfire System, so we can't get caught, so just play along."

Xane then turned to Orb and muttered quickly," You hide."

 

"Yeah, thats what we were doing!" Nulix added, hitting Darxess on the head. "Chasing this guy, prisoner here. UO, U.P.A., H.E.B., G.U.I., L.O.R., M.I.A., R.T.N., he's part of all those people, places, and organizations."

"So, let me get this straight," The man muttered. "You, second floor guards, chased a man to the first floor entrance. And this man supposedly passed sixteen dozen guards and made it to the second floor, then you chased him, without any first floor guards noticing, you chased him here where you just caught him at this exact second... while also getting a snack from a vending machine?"

"Between you and me sir, I've seen a lot of the first floor guards drinking on the job and going out. Don't ask me how this scum slipped past them, all I know is that they shame Ulfire, they shame us all!" Nulix said.

The man shrugged, "Alright. Good job, soldiers. Nice to meet you all, I'm Second Class Commander Beau."

"Thats... a big rank, right?" Nulix asked.

Commander Beau smiled, "Of course. Its one of the highest. I just got here, tomorrow I have a mission, after that I'll leave this hick world for the capitol."

 

"The capitol," Xane nodded. "I've never been there, being from one of the Northeast islands. How do you pronounce the name of the capitol, again?"

 

Commander Beau raised an eyebrow, "I'm surprised a man from the Northeast wouldn't know the name of his capitol. That's the extremist pride part of the land... I'd think the pronunciation of the capitol would be something you'd know... hey, maybe you do pronounce it right. Let me hear."

 

Xane coughed once more and tripped Darxess.

"Oh no ya don't," Xane said, pulling Darxess back up. "I see you were trying to escape again. Sir, please let us take this criminal to his cell, before he tries anything else."

 

"Take the man to his cell, Lt. Halabaloza," Commander Beau said. It took Nulix a second to realize who he was talking too. "Yes sir!" Nulix said, grabbing Darxess and escorting him down the hall.

"So, Zach, Mr. Zemackious, are you two in the mission squad tomorrow?" Commander Beau asked.

 

"Uh, yes," Xane quickly nodded. "I am."

 

"Have you seen your loved ones recently?" Beau chuckled, "I know when I got here for the mission, Commander Gee told me to encourage the troops... don't see why I should lie. I mean, you know. Normally we could take the Bronss gang... We've done before, kept them at bay, in the south. But now they stole a weapon of ours... one that can kill us all if we ain't careful... so yeah, my first mission as Commander could be my last, ya know man?"

 

"Ah, the missions that dangerous?" Xane asked. "Well that's expected. We don't have near superhuman soldiers like I've heard the U.P.A does."

 

Commander Beau laughed, "Funny! Nah, the U.P.A.'s a mess... I mean, Sora's a mess, ya know. You heard about that relocation scheme, you heard how they reversed it a month after it was put into effect? I mean, the military is their main industry... they're gonna get invaded any day... maybe. But yeah, I don't even think Sora can defeat this thing... we can though, if the Bronss gang can capture this weapon we can capture it back, right?"

 

Xardius was hiding...but listening...and taking notes...

 

"Of, course!" Xane nodded. "I should really be getting back to my post, now. See you tomorrow. And, uh, Lt. Halabaloza has said he'd like to accompany us on the mission, as well."

 

"I'll check if he's on the list," Beau muttered, "And seriously, call your family, right?"

 

Xane nodded and took the elevator to the second floor, where e saw, nulix putting Darxess in a cell.

 

"What did you find out?" Nulix asked Xane as he approached...

 

Xardius appeared from nowhere to shake Darxess' hand, then disappeared again. Because it was dangerous for him to just randomly show up.

 

"They're going on a mission tomorrow," Xane explained. "He's already got me and Wing signed up for it. Apparently, a dangerous weapon of theirs has been stolen from them. I told him you wanted to go, as well."
