Xardius shook his head. "It won't work. Ah, fine, I'll come back with you guys. But be prepared for something to happen between me and Vecked."

Xardius and Wing teleported back to the others.

"Yo, Nulix," Xardius said, raising a hand. "Looks like this was...fun."

 

"What happened? Is the Virus dead?" Nulix asked...

OOC: (Is too lazy to read half a page...)

 

Wing held the ball before him.

"Its dormant. We need something with just as much power or more to destroy it. That's how viruses work

 

"Like Xardius," Tyre said, looking at Xardius, who shook his head. "Or not."

 

"Well that's good," Nulix muttered. "You know I always thought the Virus was misnamed, Shaky Darksand sounds much more accurate... I mean, why is it called the Virus? It can infect people, sure. But I'm pretty sure that's not its main power. The U.P.A. chose a pretty weak title, I should head up there and give them some naming skills. I'm simply fantastic at naming... I can come up with a name like that!"

 

Wing shook his head, he wasnt in the mood for Nulix's childish comic relief to day.

"It can infect more then people. It can infect worlds, realms, even the universe itself...if we let it. Call it what you want, it will still be a Vrius."


OOC: No offense to nulix of course :P

 

Tyre stared around. "Is something...wrong?"

 

"I'm just throwing out suggestions... I don't want children, hundreds of years from now, to look into their history books and see something called the Virus and ask their teachers why it was called that and the teachers don't have an answer. I won't stand for that!" Nulix explained, "But for now the Virus is okay."

OOC: None taken.

 

Wing shook his head in frustration. It hurt from the battle, and something more. the power surged inside his body, willing to tear him apart just to be free. crissilia's power was all that held it inside him.


"Lets just leave this god-forsaken land before the Ulfire troops try to stop us. I dont feel like killing them."

His eyes fell on Xardius and Vecekd. the two phenixes stared each other down knowing what the other could do. The feeling in the pit of his stomach turned over itself, sensing the power they both had.

 

"Vecked," Xardius said after a moment. "How does it feel?"

His voice was too quiet, and he knew it. He shouldn't have come back. But he could hear his power whispering to him.

"It's all right...I can awaken the power within Wing, and he will be able to contain it...We can fight..."

And slowly Xardius was agreeing.

 

Wing could feel the tension growing as Xardius began talking to Vecked. A fight was about to happen, and he was going to have to stop it...no matter what.

 

OOC: And Nulix disappears...how appropriate...

Well, we can't do much until he makes it back I suppose. How'd you like the song I posted? (If you listened to it, that is).

 

OOC: Blah. Stupid hotel internet cut me off.

BIC: Vecked glanced at both Xardius and Wing. "Lets not defeat it yet," Vecked muttered, "Lets not try. I doubt we could, even with all this power... phoenix power. What we need to do is find a way to contain it, control it. Something of equal power. Itself. We control it, we destroy it... I think thats the only way."

 

"You may be right, but i'd still rather see it dead." He said his voice cold and distant.


OOC: Song was really god DK, it fits xardius perfectly

 

OOC: Oh. OK.

BIC: Tyre was very confused, but Xardius didn't look like he was in the mood to do anything except explode, and Wing looked wary and angry, and Vecked had that look in his eye.

Tyre suddenly wanted to be very far away. But whatever.

"Fine, well, either way, the Ulfire people are coming, so I suggest we leave," Tyre said, walking off in a direction he knew the Ulfire wasn't.

 

Wing ignored Tyre, there were more important things to worry about. He flicked his wrist, and twilight coated his palm, leaving a prism in his hand. He placed the Dormant Virus inside the navy blue marble that the fountain in the Cerina's square had been made from. the same material that held back a worlds magic, hiding it from the greedy. It was more then powerful enough to hold the Virus.

 

Xardius watched impassively.

Tyre sighed.

All was well.

 

After attaching the small prism to a chain Wing pulled from his pocket, he tied it around his wrist, wearing the virus like a charm, waiting to be shattered.

He then felt fait, and started to stagger in place, feeling sicker and sicker before vomiting. he fell to all fours and repeatedly got sick. the unawakened power was now tearing his apart, and he couldn't contain it in its raw state...the maturity Carissa had hoped for wold have to be reached while Wing was in control of the power.

He looked over to Xardius, sweat falling from his forehead to the grass.

"Do it. I know you can....please old friend, unlock the power that has been there for so long...please release me."

 

OOC: Totally didn't see the new page for, like, forever, lol.

BIC: Xardius' brow furrowed as he considered how to do this.

"Oh, just let me," the dark-skinned woman said, stepping up to Wing and pressing her hand to his forehead. "Awake."

Xardius shrugged as the woman disappeared and Wing's power unsealed itself...

 

Wing's body glowed with Twilight, it poured from his eyes and mouth, filling the surrounding area, Wing's body transforming in and out of the twilight wind form he had not yet mastered. when the awakening was complete Wing stood up slowly, his twilit wind form bering his only form now. His hair was blonde, and hung down his neck. He pulled it into a little pony tail before opening his twilight infused eyes that seemed to shine like the stars in space. the tattoos under his eyes were an aquamarine color finishing the look.
tHe twilight Phenix was awakened and now Wing was ready to take on scourge and the rest of the brotherhood.
