OOC: Kardas didn't think that one through too much, did he? And no it doesn't mean he has to die. But he's still going to.

EDIT: Okay, Nulix. I'll send some.

BIC: Novice quickly reversed the time flow around the ship. He reshaped the ship until it looked as if it came fresh off of the assembly line.

 

Vecked pulled his gunblade out and shot the jewel head on.

 

The GOLEM fell over, dead. The sand sucked down, and Vecked was pulled underneath with it...into water, the surface just ahead, a city floating on water to his right...

OOC: Kardas isn't very smart at all...

BIC: 12 hours earlier...

Xardius watched the woman tend to Crissilia's shoulder, which he had hit, disarming her and forcing her power into disarray, which had caused her to go unconscious.

"Striking like that," the woman said. "Interesting..."

"Whatever," Xardius said. "I can't sit here all day, I have to move on."

Walking up to the doors Wing had gone through a week before, Xardius kicked them open and stepped inside.

The woman watched him, and looked at Crissilia. "I'm sure you've noticed that her power is not what was sustaining Wing, but Wing's power that was sustaining her...so who was the true god...?"

"And, striking like that..." the woman continued. "You've severed the connection. So now Wing will have no choice but to accept his own power, and grow even stronger. Why did you, I wonder...? Did you know all along?"

The woman shook her head. "Crissilia really is the Twilight Goddess, Darius Lionheart. But the relationship between goddess and patron is not what you or they thought, is it? It's something different...I will follow you until I find it out, Lionheart. You hold the key to my question."

 

Within minutes, Novice left the atmosphere, headed for the edge to the the Dark Worlds...

BIC: Vecked swam...

 

Xardius gritted his teeth as he blasted his way past the final trial. Hitting the wall with tremendous force, he obliterated the twilight dungeons and was sucked into the void...

I'm not here to gain twilight powers, thank you, Xardius sighed. And spending 12 hours stuck in some hole didn't help my humor at all...

He pondered as he landed heavily on his feet. But at least I know what I'm chasing...

"Xardius," Wing said.

Xardius turned to see Wing in Twilight form, power raging from him, marching on him.

"Why did you betray me?" Wing asked, and attacked.

The waters trembled as the Leviathan rose from the depths...roaring its hate at Vecked...

 

Xane exited the ship, to discover that they landed in the middle of a neon-lit highway. No cars appeared to be driving by, so Xane assumed it was safe to exit the ship.

 

OOC: Where'd Nulix go...!?

BIC: Xardius was taken aback by Wing's assault, and so quickly had multiple nicks and cuts all over his body. However, he quickly recovered, his bandages came off, and sheer power forced Wing back.

"What are you doing here?" Xardius asked.

"Why did you betray me?" Wing asked.

Xardius' eyes narrowed. "You're not him."

"What are you...?" Wing asked, before Xardius stepped in and sliced. Wing found himself pushed back by a very mad, very skilled Xardius with a lot of power. However, Wing didn't go through the trials he did for nothing...

Xardius settled in for what could be a long fight, blocking Wing's attacks and giving his own. However, he noticed that Wing tended to be a bit sloppy...so he exploited it.

It only took twenty minutes to kill Wing. Of course, it wasn't. The twilight fled in panic, and Xardius gave chase...

 

OOC: He did say his computer was messed up.

 

OOC: True, he did say that...

 

OOC: I did say that...

 

OOC: Sorry bout my absence, been pretty busy here...lol

BIC: Wing walked along, he hadn't found the others, but he knew he was close.

"Hang on guys..."

He said breaking into a sprint, his feet pounding on the marble like twilight floor beneath him.

"Xardius!" He said as the twilight began to fade and he "locater twilight" strands began to blur. He fell into the void, and slipped into a new world, right beside an angry Xardius giving trace to what looked like a cloud of twilight, with Wing's face...


"What in the..." He said running next to Xardius

 

OOC: Wing, you still online!?

BIC: Xardius blinked. "Wing. Sorry about this. I had to fight Crissilia...Something or someone is messing with your twilight powers in order to kill you...Though I'm not sure who, or what, or why."

"And..." He said as the twilight blob disappeared and he found himself knee deep in water. "It seems another trail is about to start."

He turned to Wing. "Look, Wing, I appreciate you coming here and all, but the target is obviously you here, and I don't want to put you in any more danger than you already are..."

He looked around. "If you want, you can stick around but don't engage anything here...They seem to have an aversion to me, but I think it's because..."

"You would be right in assuming that it is because of me," the woman said, popping up beside Xardius, who jumped.

He pointed at her. "Can you see her?"

 

Wing looked to where Xardius was pointing and took note of the woman standing there.

"Yes, I see her."


He let his twilight take over and he could see the coming attackers.

"Twilight eye!"

he shouted pointing to Xardius, granting him the sight to see the attackers.

"Water sprites, twilight infused water sprites... hitting them with a sword is pointless."


He looked back to the woman and they two of them took opposite sides of the arena.

"Good luck old friend."

 

OOC: Are either of you still online?

 

OOC: i'm here

 

OOC: Hey, Wing!

BIC: Ravakov walked through the hallway and into Scourge's 'office'. Taking a breath and a approaching Scourge he asked, "You vanted to talk to me, Scourge?"

OOC: I just did that to give Ravakov something to do...

 

Liam stepped from the corner of Scourge's room.


"Seems that all the pieces are in place now. What will you have me do my lord?" He bowed deeply, now standing next to the man that had just walked in.

 

OOC: Sorry had to go for a bit.

BIC: Xardius shrugged. "Whatever," he said, summoning fireballs. "It's been a while since we fought together..."

Leaping into action, he sent the fireballs in rings around him, scattering the water sprites quickly. Using his absolute control over fire, he sent the rings slamming towards the water sprites, certain he could win.

The chair swiveled, and inside it sat Enigma.

"You're both late," Enigma said dryly, standing up. "I'd kill Liam as an example, but I was told not to by Scourge. Your new job: Order 64. Get on it."

And Enigma disappeared.

OOC: PM me about Order 64. XD I completely made that up.

 

OOC: Sorry. Had to do some errands. Order 64, eh? What is this, Star Wars?


BIC: Ravakov nodded and headed off.

OOC: Now, I'll just go ahead and PM ya...
