The Ultimate Organization III

"Think about this," Xane started. "We enter this race and we get loads of publicity for being the Ultimate Organization. This race can be used as a trap to draw a few members of the Brotherhood out, so we can get rid of 'em.," Xane continued, turning to asked the Racer a question. "So, who do we speak to to sign up?"

"One of the U.P.A spokeswomen," the racer answered.

 

"Nice thought, Anxe," Nulix replied, "I can win this thing, easily. Me and Vecked were racing enthusiasts back on Iceving, we used to race all the time, not with gummi's, though..."

 

"Really?" Xane laughed. "I would've never thought it."

"You two are members of the Ultimate Organization, right?" The Racer asked. "Don't bother hidin' it. That book on you says that one of you likes to make up ridiculous false names when ya want to go undercover. Anyway, one of the really pro-UO spokeswomen is over there. Mellodia, I think her name is."

"Mellodia? She's here?" Xane asked., excitedly.


"Yeah," the Racer said. "She's a looker, eh? Too bad she's seeing someone."

"She......Wha?" Xane paused.


"Yeah, one of the other racers. Anyway, you all should talk to her if ya wanna sign up," The Racer said walking away. "Since you are famous and everything, I guess I can forgive you for crushing my test gummi. Don't let it happen again, though."

 

"It won't man," Nulix said with a smile, "Real nice of you for letting us off the hook like that... see you out there, right? Alright..." Nulix smiled at the Racer, before turning to Xane, "Mellodia? What the hell is she doing here?" He asked.

 

"What the hell is she doing seeing someone?" Xane asked, infuriated. Walking up to Mellodia, he stepped in front of the desk. "Excuse me, maam. We'd like to sign up."

"Okay just place you're name in front of-" Mellodia began. "Xane? What are you doing here?" Mellodia said, pleasently surprised.

"I could ask the same thing," Xane groaned.

"Well, when the U.P.A started supporting the U.O, I had to join them. I've spent a long time as a soldier, sop I figured a desk job would be perfect for now," Mellodia explained.

"Yeah..." Xane frowned.

"Oh...You must've heard," Mellodia sighed, scratching the back of her head. "Well, honestly, I thought you all died. I mean, you headed out to face the Brotherhood, right? Most people in the Light Worlds thought you all were gone until the U.P.A appeared and told them otherwise."

 

Nulix drank a slurpee in the distance, not wanting to interrupt Xane and Mellodia talking...

 

OOC: Ah! Didn't see the new page!

BIC: "...." Xane said not thinking of a proper reply. "Just sign us up."

"Um, okay," Mellodia said, awkwardly. "would you like to sign up your whole group?"

"In case some of them join us later, yes," Xane replied. "So is your friend in the race?"

"Uh, yeah. He's a pretty good driver..." Mellodia said.


"Yeah, so....When does this race start?" Xane asked, signing the sign up sheeting the s.


"You have three days to prepare for it," Mellodia said, finalizing the sign up. "You'd better get your upgrades ready. And, uh, what would you like to wager?"


"I dunno..." Xane paused. "Ask Nulix."

OOC: Boom. This is top tier. Of course, I'm not sure what to do with the water nymphs...

BIC: Xardius danced with power, the water nymphs unable to keep up with his speed. However, the Celestial Mage, Tifanitan, was...It had a lot to do with the arrow sticking out of his gut and the dozens of cuts from the continuing water needles the water nymphs doggedly spat at him.

Power surged through him, but Xardius had never felt so bad in his life.

It had been nearly 1200 years since he last fought Tifanitan. He'd thought she was dead.

"She is dead," the dark-skinned woman called to him.

"What? You can read minds now?" Xardius grumbled. "Then read this..."

Get Wing out of here so I can do a real power-show... Xardius thought, and the woman smiled.

"Always concerned with your friends..." she said, and whispered to Wing, who nodded and began running with the woman away.

The woman turned and called back. "If you need me..."

"Shut up," Xardius muttered, blocking Tifanitan's blow with a sword she'd produced after dropping the bow. "I am not going to need help."

"You were stronger once," Tifanitan said, slicing Xardius on the shoulder, who gritted his teeth and returned the cut. Tifanitan shook it off.

"You could have defeated me easily now, but you are weak," Tifanitan said, slamming into him and flipkicking him in the gut. Xardius grabbed her foot and slammed her into the water.

Tifanitan dove underneath and jumped up, the water droplets turning into more needles which slammed into Xardius.

"Now, you're just pathetic," Tifanitan said, slamming past Xardius' weakened grasp from a water needle to the wrist, and burying her sword into his gut. Xardius gasped, and stumbled back as Tifanitan ripped the sword free and began slicing him with long gashes.

"That's...enough!" Xardius roared, grabbing Tifanitan's blade with his bare hand, blood spraying from his palm. "If you think..."

Knee to the face. Chop to the wrist, punch to the neck, chest, ribs, down the hole.

"You can mock me this easy..." Xardius continued, stepping in and slicing long gashes into Tifanitan's torso.

"You got another thing coming!" he roared, and slammed his sword downwards, nearly slicing Tifanitan in two.

Tifanitan's eyes widened as she fell to the ground, and the water nymphs disappeared.

"I only wanted..." she whispered. "To live again."

"The dead are dead," Xardius growled. "Stay that way."

Turning, he walked away, stumbling from his wounds. Light engulfed him, and then fire.

He found himself in a land of fire, staring straight at Vecked.

"So, you're the final illusion the twilight's going to spit at me, are you?" Xardius asked Vecked. "So be it."

Raising Chomper, Xardius glared at Vecked, his wounds closing from the sparks of power flowing into him from the realm of fire...

His power was returning and Xardius was not going to lose this battle.

OOC: And that's where Vecked is too. Enigma, you sly dog...

 

Vecked glanced at Xardius. He wasn't sure if this was an illusion or not, but it was easy enough to find out. Illusions couldn't hurt him. "Xardius, good to see you," Vecked muttered, walking to the side slowly...

 

"Hey, Nulix," Xane asked. "What should we wager?"

 

Nulix sighed, "We don't have anything we don't need... It might just be best to walk away from this one, its too risky to bet anything..."

 

"So.... We'll bet the ship, then? Okay" Xane said, turning to face Mellodia once more to tell her.

 

Wing's eyes grew as he stood next to Xardius only to see Vecked there as well



"This is no illusion..." He said crossing his arms over his chest. "How did you get here Vecked?"

 

OOC: Pirate, you're almost evil...

BIC: "I would say the same thing, except it's not," Xardius said. "16 hours of being devil's food can do that to a guy...I'd just really like to get this over with..."

Summoning fire, Xardius glared at Vecked. "One of us takes home the glory, Vecked. We both control flame...Let's just see who's better."

Xardius threw the flame at Vecked, the flame exploding into hundreds of other flames, zeroing in on Vecked...

EDIT OOC: Xardius isn't really in the mood to talk...He wants to eat people alive...

 

OOC: What do you mean by that?

 

OOC: Just Xane betting the ship even when Nulix said not to bet anything...

 

OOC: I didn't bet it yet. Nulix can still stop Xane. Though the race is gonna happen some way...

 

Vecked sighed, "I always liked you, Xardius... you too Wing, but I'm sure not dying here."

Vecked did a quick flip backwards, pulling his gunblades out as the balls of fire came towards him. In one swift motion Vecked deflected the flames with his gunblade, making them die out into only a spark. Vecked flew through the sparks less than a second later, running towards Xardius, who was ready to block and counter. Vecked pulled a small knife out and lunged out at Xardius' neck. He was met by a swift blow from Xardius' large sword, which Vecked ducked under. The sword hit the ground where Vecked had just been as he dodged again, this was followed with another swing to the side, which Vecked jumped over....

"That was pretty heartless, there, Xane," Nulix muttered, as the racing application for the UO went through, "You just bet our ship... we lose and we have very few options to get off this world..."

OOC: Vecked's good at dodging......... And Priates right, the race is going to happen now at least.

 

"Hold on," Xane grunted. "I didn't put anything down yet. We could still bet money or something else..."

 

"Forget it..." Nulix muttered, "We can win this anyway... I was just... being angry for the sake of anger."
