OOC: Meh, just do it Pirate. And I'll keep that in mind Nulix.

BIC: "Hmph," Xardius said. "If you can dodge those, then how about these?"

Xardius' sword turned into a blinding flash of silver as he spun as fast as possible (at least with Chomper); he honestly thought it was the fastest he'd ever gone...and watched in horror as Vecked slid around all the blows.

This is going to take time, speed, and power, Xardius thought, and so he made a decision...The time had come for the Masamune.

 

"stop this now!" Wing said changing into his wind form and launching a large gust between the two Flame wielders, separating the.



"Do you not realize this is real?! you're being tricked. the twilight is messing with you both."

He switched to his twilight form, changing the arena back to the chaotic twilight corridors.


"This is its true nature... chaotic twilight manipulates the Darkness in your heart."

 

"Right, we bet our ship," Xane nodded to Mellodia.


"Alright, then," Mellodia smiled. "You can go to the racer's lounge if you want. Here's a couple of room keys."

"Thanks," Xane nodded. "Let's head to the lounge for a bit and check out the competition."


OOC: I'm about to introduce a whole lot of characters...And a couple of old returning ones.

 

Vecked flipped to the side quickly to catch his breath, still twirling his knife and gunblades wildly. Vecked's lungs were booming, this was bad... if less than a minute in he was exhausted with one UO member, there was no way he could take both of them. Vecked quickly stretched his neck, before rushing back at Xardius, who had the Chomper ready to block. Vecked grabbed the flat edge of the blade and used it to push himself farther in the air, grabbing Xardius' head. This was met with a kick to the stomach which sent Vecked flying backwards, flames escaping his hands.

"I was gonna burn you," Vecked muttered, shaking his hands before running forward again. Xardius sent his blade crashing to the ground, Vecked dodged to the side and then did a flip back again only to land on top of the huge Chomper. He quickly scrambled up the blade and, only three footsteps away, he jumped off the end, flying over Xardius. Vecked sent his gunblade flying down towards Xardius' head.

"Stop this now!" Vecked, Xardius, and both their weapons flew apart. "Do you not realize this is real?! you're being tricked. the twilight is messing with you both." Wing said. He switched to his twilight form, changing the arena back to the chaotic twilight corridors.

"This is its true nature... chaotic twilight manipulates the Darkness in your heart."

Vecked looked around, "Enigma's a dead man..." he muttered.

"Alrighty then," Nulix muttered, following Xane...

 

Xardius looked around, pocketing the crystal he'd been about to pull out. Good, I won't have to use it.

"Oh, this is no fun," a voice said as the twilight molded into a humanoid shape, clothed in dark, light, and twilight, masked and genderless. "It would have been fun to watch the end of that battle..."

"Who...?" Xardius began.

"Am I? Wraith, of the Brotherhood, charged with destroying the Twilight Goddess and her powers," Wraith said.

Xardius glared. "So you were after Wing."

"He's important to you, and Scourge hates the things important to you most of all," Wraith said, cocking its head. "I'm not going to stop. What will you do?"

"Kill you," Xardius said, stepping forward. Immediately, two beings stepped from the twilight.

Names flitted into Xardius' memory: Tephobian the Celestial Mage of Fire, and Mekorian the Celestial Mage of Earth.

"That's right," Wraith crooned, and Xardius blinked, unaware he'd said the words aloud. "Have fun with my pets."

"Vecked, there's no leaving this place until we kill Wraith," Xardius said. "You going to sit back and watch, or kick him to oblivion with me? You too Wing. You in?"

 

They walked through the doors labeled 'The Driver's Lounge' and saw a large number of participants from various worlds. Light and Dark. They were all talking about various things, so Xane figured that they might as well do so too.

"I'm going to find out more about the competition," Xane said.

 

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Xardius," Vecked said, pulling his gunblade on Xardius. "I'm officially still a Brotherhood member," Vecked said, "I am until the end of June. I never went against this nor have I given a reason to be fired. Had Scourge said no, I didn't bomb those places, then I'd be in trouble... but he did... so I'm home free."

Vecked turned to Wraith, gunblade still on Xardius, "Thats Scourges law. His Brotherhood's law. Now I'm well aware that Scourge doesn't play by the rules, not even his own rules. But he must understand that I was a pawn, now motivated against his opposing force by the revenge... thats no reason to keep me alive... Scourge wouldn't keep me alive for the possibility of my loyalty, unless he stood to benefit. I worked for his enemy's, I have information."

Vecked smiled, "I'm too valuable to die, Mr. Wraith. I'd like to walk out of here, as a member of your Brotherhood."

"A colorful bunch," Nulix remarked....

 

Wing nodded. It was odd, Scourge only seemed to want him dead just to get to Xardius...but Wing had also stood against him in the past, but then again Wing's identity had changed many times.


"Wraith wants me dead...but he knows he's weaker then us all...as are these two. Two brotherhood members against Wind and Flame...have they not learned?"


He smirked and stood between Vecked and Xardius, Key blades drawn. Twilit Wind form raging in full effect. Vecked's gunblade was still pointed at Xardius, and now at him. he was exchaning dialoge about being a member of the Brotherhood with Wraith, but Wing didn't care, anger burned inside him, Vecked had changed...then changed again...in the blink of an eye the man was on the other side and back again.



"And so it begins. Vecked you are truly blind."

 

Wraith peered at Vecked, then said, "Kill him."

Mekorian nodded, and pulled out his sword. Tephobian's quarter-staff spun in a circle, a red feather dancing in his other hand. As one, they advanced on Vecked.

Xardius pushed the gunblade away from him.

"You always did overestimate your own value to other people, Vecked," Xardius muttered. "And if you hadn't noticed, the reason you were able to exploit the Brotherhood like you did was because the members were doing whatever they wanted...what's going to stop this Wraith here from taking you out...?"

He shrugged. "Scourge isn't here to tell him no...and there's no way to tell how you died in the twilight..."

Wraith cocked his head. "The big one actually thought about this..."

 

Vecked drew back, "I never over estimate my own value," he replied. "I was just giving one option a chance, if this was a Brotherhood purest, like some, afraid of going against Scourge, he would probably let me live... tough luck, though..."

 

"Run away, Vecked," Xardius said. "This is our fight."

"Wing," Xardius said. "These guys...I remember them...Do not underestimate them, or you'll end up full of holes like I was."

Mekorian saluted Xardius. "I'll take your friend, eh, Darius?"

"You don't exist anymore," Xardius growled, as Tephobian launched himself at him, Chomper colliding with the quarterstaff, ringing from the blow.

Meanwhile, Mekorian strode up to Wing. "Good evening, sir," Mekorian said. "Earth has been sorely overlooked in this drama. Let me show you the mistake that was..."

His sword launched itself towards Wing as Mekorian suddenly moved fast towards Wing...

 

wing stood next to Vecked.


"You told me once that we weren't enemies. You proved it twice by not killing Dream and by not letting your partners know i was outside your office fighting Liam. I'll stand by you this time and help you out...but after that i don't know what will happen between us."


His blades clashed together letting out a high pitched clang.


"Wraith, you're time ends here."


OOC: Brb

 

Vecked didn't reply. Wing ran off to fight with Xardius, Vecked just stood at the side...

 

One of the racer's was clearly a Knight of some sort. He wore the familiar silver/gold armor of the Knights and had a name tag that read, 'Jackson.'

Another racer was a U.P.A agent, who had some sort of official badge on his jacket. His name tag read, 'P. Titan.'

Xane recognized the friendly Racer from before, that they ran into when they landed on the world. His name tag read, 'T. Sellers'


Among other racers were several U.P.A officers, Knights, even a few bug-men from the Dark Pride Lands. Finally, Xane noticed seven drivers wearing gray protective suits. All seven of them had the Brotherhood emblem stitched to the back of their jackets.

"Looks like the Brotherhood is already here," Xane said. "But why?"


The Racer, Sellers, noticed them and went to greet them. "So you're in then? Good. Hope you do well."


"Yeah, you too," Xane said, shaking Sellers' hand.

Another driver entered the room. He was covered in a black and blue helmet. He wore an update of standard driver's armor. Seller's looked back and nodded towards him. "That's Mellodia's favorite new driver. They came to this world together on the same ship and everything. You'd think he'd work for the U.P.A like her, but strangely, he doesn't.

 

"Damn..." Nulix muttered at Mellodia's new man, "Good looking guy. I can't see his face but he seems pretty muscular, I can tell just by his posture, good height, nice suit," Nulix commented, thinking about how good he was at judging people.


EDIT: OOC: ... Time to edit.

 

OOC: He's wearing a helmet...You can't see his face. Maybe I shoulda explained that in my earlier post. Time to edit.

BIC: Xane heard Nulix comment on something and was about to find a heavy object to hit him with, until Sellers calmed him down.

 

Wing was a blur attacking the rock hard shield that Mekorian had put up.


"Wind will erode earth...but not quickly enough..." He let his mind travel backwards in time remembering the Day Xardius fought the two. Just like now, Gale, one of wing's past names, was in charge of defeating Mekorian...Xardius had given him the key to taking him down. Wing smirked.

"To bad i dont get to see you fight again Mekorian, the last time we met was enough for me though."

A shot of twilight crummbled the wall, and Wing took off fast as ever, aiming his blade at Mekorian's heart, Wind surrounded him as Mekorian raised his sword to counter. Out of now where the shattered keyblade of gales appeared to take the blow, finishing the key off for good.

"Erosion!" Wing shouted, his blade covered in twilight wind...it pierced the chest of his opponent, causing him to stagger backwards, but Mekorian wasn't dead yet.


"Crissilia grant me the power to defeat this fiend!" A voice in his head told him he no longer needed to ask her for power...and he closed his eyes summoning all his power.

"Good bye." He let the wind go and every one in the corridor was blown in one direction or another. Wing had the sense to make sure Vecked and Xardius were cocooned before he let his attack go. Mekorian began to crumble and became dust in Wings attack, falling to the marble like floor after the wind dissipated.

"Stay dead."

 

"Good news," Ravakov said, nodding to Liam. "I've found those Knight's coordinates. Now all ve have to is lock on."

 

"Yeah!" Nulix said.

OOC: I gotta go. Family thing. i'd rather be gagged by about two rubber spoons at once than play the game we're going to play, but...y'know. Anyway, I'll see you guys tomorrow or something. It was fun tonight guys!
