The Ultimate Organization III

Rain fell from the broken sky.

Enigma stood in silence.

Xardius stood facing him, the rain steaming around him.

The woman smiled.

"Thank you," Xardius said to the woman. "Though I'm not sure why I'm thanking myself."

"Power does not define who you are," the woman said. "I am your power...You use me, but that does not make me you, or you me. I'll come by again someday..."

Smiling, she faded away.

Xardius turned back to Enigma. "So, where were we?" he asked, raising Chomper.

Enigma smiled. "I was about to tell you everything, Darius Lionheart..."

And so he did, while Vecked listened on in growing horror...

When it was done, Xardius bowed to Enigma without a word, opened a portal to Space Paranoids, and stepped through to once again reunite with his friends.

Enigma looked up at the sky, where the rain had stopped and the sun was beginning to break through.

"Vecked, I hope you realize now..." Enigma said softly. "Just how much we've all been used..."

OOC: No, I don't expect Vecked to do anything drastic from what he's just "learned".

 

Vecked walked out from behind the rock he was hiding behind. "Enigma," he started, before hitting the ground. "Take him down!" Niles Skinnar yelled, a dozen U.P.A. soldiers running out from the ruins, rapidly firing at everyone and everything. "Take the big guy out, Ricky, Jervas, help me with Vecked!" Niles said, pulling the stun dart out of Vecked's neck...

 

Within an instant, it was over. The UPA lay all unconscious on the ground, and the Harbinger bared against Skinnar's neck.

"Where are you taking him?" Enigma asked softly, his eyes glowing.

Xardius popped out of the portal, and literally ran into Lexx. In fact, Lexx fell over, and Xardius nearly walked on him, but managed not to.

"Er, sorry," Xardius said. "Didn't realize I'd come so close...Hey, Nulix, Xane..."

 

Niles looked at Enigma, struggling to breathe, "The Heloxocon Prison in the Alterad mountains, its the strongest Prison the U.P.A. has..."

"Hey man, whats up?" Nulix asked.

"Xardius, didn't see you there," Lexx said, brushing his white suit off. "We were just talking business. About how the U.P.A. can help the UO and the reverse," Lexx explained.

 

"I can help you..." Xardius muttered under his breath. "Straight off a cliff."

Out loud, he said, "I'm doing great, Nulix. So, Lexx, let me guess, you reward us for doing your dirty work, right? How much money?"

Enigma's eyes narrowed. "I'm only going to ask one more question...Are you, by chance, related to Rentu Skinnar?"

 

Lexx shook his head, "Your doing the god damn universe an enormous favor by doing what your doing. You truly are the heroes. Many aren't as big fans as me, though. And the reason is you've been kept out the picture, you've had to fight and go by what ever info you might or might not know, and that means you could be fighting the wrong people. Now, first off, I think you should get paid cause this ain't no way for hero's ta' live. Second, I think you should get the amount of info and power the U.P.A. has, readouts, maps, intelligence, all at your disposal. We are after the same goal, and with this contract we can get there in half the time."

Niles nodded slowly...

 

"It's fine, Lexx," Xardius said. "I wasn't really serious..."

Enigma slowly withdrew the Harbinger, and picked up Vecked. "That's what I thought...see you around."

And he disappeared, jumping into space.

Enigma put Vecked down on the grassy slope.

"Sorry, I gotta go," Enigma said. "But no one will find you here...and if they do, you're on your own."

He jumped again, leaving the unconscious Vecked alone.

 

"Well I'm very serious, about this, about this war, and about you," Lexx said, "All you need to do is sign, right here."

As soon as Enigma left, another dozen of U.P.A. troops jumped on the scene. "Fix Niles up!" One troop yelled, lifting Niles up. "Quick, get the portal location," another troop ordered. A group of four set up a machine where Enigma was standing just moments ago. "Reading... reading," An agent muttered, as the machine scanned the air around. Suddenly, a portal appeared above the machine. "We have the location, lets go!" The lead agent said, jumping into the portal.

They landed on the grassy slope, Vecked's body lay on the ground. "We got ya'," The Agent said happily...

 

OOC: That's weird because Enigma didn't use a portal...but I'll let it slide...XD

Anyway, I'm out for the night, I'll see you tomorrow Nulix.

BIC: "I'll read everything first," Xardius said dryly, taking the contract from Nulix. "Hmm, when does this contract expire?"

 

OOC: ... (Reads post) Bah! The U.P.A. don't have jumping into space technology... Ah well, this thread is built off of plot holes!

BIC: "Uh..." Lexx muttered, "June 1st, 2363... a good... twenty years of non stop income."

OOC: See ya, Dk!

 

A flurry of blades took the unsuspecting UPA agents down. Wing stood before Vecked's body, ready to take on any other threats that may come through the portal before him.

Liam smiled all was going according to plan. He looked out the gummi ship window and saw a small light.

"Its them, just as i suspected." He said instructing the pilot to take them down to Port Royal. Once landed Liam watched as the Guardian's ship landed just outside of what was once the town.

"Coming?" He said to Ravakov as he headed towards where Tera Roth and the others were.

"Now then...how to convince them to attack the surviving UPA...I could play with the Darkness of Tera Roth's "heart" and manipulate him...then the others would join his side. But if that doesn't work...I'm sure he'll have a plan..."

He whispered under his breath as he and Ravakov neared the Gummi.

 

"And how exactly do you intend to convince Tera Roth to do anything?" Ravakov asked.

"So you really want to save the worlds, huh?" Xane asked Lexx.

 

Darkness poured from Liam's body.

"He is a heartless. I'm going to use the darkness that fills his soul to convince him to attack the UPA."

 

"I'm not so sure," Ravakov said. "Few have stronger vill than Elite Knights."

 

"I want, what we all on some level want," Lexx replied to Xane, "Peace."

"Kill him!" The U.P.A. troops yelled, shooting at Wing rapidly, "Get the body! Get Vecked's body now!"

 

OOC: This could be fun...

BIC: "Knock mine down to three years, and use the other seventeen years of income to restore the light and dark worlds," Xardius said. "I'll chip in a bit if you'll agree to that...I have enough money as it is..."

 

"Yeah, yeah," Xane yawned. "Anyway, I'm going take my Gummi for a test drive. I bought everyone else one too, by the Way. So yours is in the garage, Xardius."

OOC: See a few pages back for your Racing Gummi's name.

 

Lexx smiled, turning back to Xardius, "Sounds like a deal, we should win this war by three years, we just wanted to make sure that you never attacked the U.P.A. again... thats why we had it for twenty years..."

 

Liam smirked. "don't underestimate the power of Darkness and its manipulative effects."

Wing dodged the bullets and deflected a few others as he took down troop after troop.

"You're not taking him!" Wing entered his wind mode and began blowing the troops backwards opening portals as he did, making sure that the upa troops couldn't come back again.

 

Enigma's portal opened once more, U.P.A. agents running through it. "Search for portals, traces, portals the priority!" A still slightly dizzy Niles Skinnar ordered, as the troops set up machines on the slope. "We got a reading!" One troop yelled, as the machine opened a dozen portals.

"How exact will this be?" Niles asked, looking at the portals, "And which is the right one?". The troop shrugged, "We think Wing closed the portals about a minute ago, so you should get in the general area... in one of them." Niles nodded, before jumping into a portal, the rest of the agents jumped into others.
