"You don't know me," Vecked replied, "Now get off my ship... don't screw with me today, alright? I'm not in the mood..."

"Actually, it's the UPA's ship, and by now, they've realized that we're not heading to the right destination," the man said. "They can't track the ship because I'm suppressing the tracking devices. I suggest you deal with me for the moment; you have for years anyway."

Turning back to the wheel, the man reverted out of hyperspace. "The UPA is obviously after you, Vecked, and now you know the entire truth behind Scourge, Xardius, and Kingdom Hearts itself. What are you going to do?"

 

OOC: You still online, DK?

 

OOC: Yes, yes I am. What do you wanna do? Actually, test out your gummi.

 

OOC: Yeah. Also if you can have someone attack Novice, or something. Not anyone like Enigma or Kardas, but someone...expendable.

 

OOC: Expendable...? Not at the moment...Except for maybe some stupid evil goons...Brotherhood goons...

Actually, do you want to discuss how to get new members involved? I came up with an idea, but I'm not sure it will work at all.

"Oh please," Vecked replied, "I've got Enigma's opinion, not the truth to all life... Enigma knows Xardius has a rich history, he knows the outlines of Scourge, and he don't know squat about Kingdom Hearts..." Vecked smiled, "I realize... just how small we are, how small you people are, trying to control whatever you like, thinking that there is an out to every situation, that your immune, that rules are only man made... there are rules for everything. You can't breath in space, you can't live if your heart stops, and everyone dies."

"No one can set the world on fire," Vecked said, "Lexx... Scourge, my Hairis Richards, all the others all try to put each other in a corner, but they can't... Scourge can't kill my Hairis right now, my Hairis can't kill Scourge."

Vecked sighed, "Now I honestly think that Scourge is dangerous because he doesn't understand what I just told you, he thinks there are no rules... which is why I can't wait until he gets blown off the face of the world... I've never been these people. Never. No matter what it seems I've always known that I can't kill a man who's not in front of me."

Vecked paused, letting his words sink in. After a moment of silence, Vecked broke into a smile. "So tell me," Vecked said, "Do we really think the same? Or are you as blind as every other god damn person with power?"

 

Wing still had his keyblade in hand as Lexx spoke.


"what are you getting at? Partners....ha thats not even funny. and besides i'm not out to get paid for what i do. Just tell me where the others are and i'll be on my way, and I'm taking Vecked with me."


He looked behind him to see Vecked's body was gone. His eyes narrowed and he took up a battle stance.

"Where is he?"

Lexx began to laugh and said it was none of his busisness and that he should just do what the UPA said.

"Yeah right." Wing knocked the the monitor up into the air and blew it apart with a shot of twilight. he then began to take out the UPA agents. Feeling overwhelmed he descended into twilight.

"Damn it!" he shouted, pounding his fist on the wall as his voice echoed in the corridors.

Liam walked up to the Gummi ship just as the hatch opened. Tera Roth was the first out, then highwind and the others.

"Good evening my friends how are you today? Let me welcome you to the remains of Dark Port Royal. Unfortunate wasn't it?" He said gesturing to the ruins behind him.

 

Xane still waited for Nulix and Xardius to get their vehicles outside.

 

The screen Wing was on went blank. Lexx silently stood up, stretching himself out. "What was that?" Asked a U.P.A. agent who was in the room. Lexx turned to the agent, "You think I know what the hell that was?! I need this to go through... I need the UO on my side."

"And I thought Wing was the nice one," The agent commented. Lexx nodded, "Your telling me... maybe he'll need a little convincing..."

"How so?" The agent asked. Lexx smiled, "I think maybe I should show him how bad things can get, and how quickly they can get that way... or maybe not. I don't want to lose my charm, right?"

The agent nodded with a smile. "Alright, I'm going to go get something in the hick town, see ya man," Lexx said, putting a jacket on and making his way to the door.

The agent glanced at the ground for a second, before looking at Lexx, on his way out the door. "There's been something bothering me..." The agent said slowly, "Something about this whole trip."

"Whats that?" Lexx asked. The agent looked down again, "If I tell my Hairis... that we have the UO under his control, would I be lying?"

"...No," Lexx replied. The agent paused, "If I tell him that, would I make it home?"

"...Not on that night," Lexx said with a smile.

"What is this trip for?" The agent asked. "What do you think?" Lexx replied. The agent swallowed, "I think... Sir, I think that you came here to hire bodyguards... no, assassins. To take care of the rest..."

"Why would I want that?" Lexx asked. "The last man standing gets the gold," The agent said, "You claim to want this for the U.P.A. but we all know that's a lie. Your doing this for the cold sake of money. Your hitting them earlier than they would hit each other because they want to hurt you friend."

"And is money not the purest form of a dream?" Lexx replied, before walking out the door.

"Lets do this!" Nulix yelled, putting his helmet on...

 

"Alright," Xane shouted, as his engines roared. "I'll star the count. Three...Two.....One!"

And they were off. Nulix's vehicle was naturally faster than Xane's, but they managed to go around the same pace. The first obstacle appeared. A odd pattern of steel walls that forced the driver to steer around them. In this test run, all obstacles were virtual and therefore had no actual affect on the vehicle. Points would be deducted from the racer's high score at the end, however if they hit the obstacles.

In Scourge's lair, another Brotherhood member swooped in, carrying a large object. Tul Raijin, nearly out of breath, presented a large cage to Scourge. In it, was the Virus.

"Here it is. The Virus," Raijin gasped, muttering," Took me one hell of a long time to get this to you too."

 

Nulix grunted as he rammed his vehicle to the side, swerving along the edge, dodging the obstacle. There were many more to come. Nulix swerved back and forth, dodging obstacles on both sides, using the weight of each movement to keep balanced. Nulix looked ahead and saw a tight turn, "Gotta get this right," he muttered, going along the middle of the track, narrowly missing the last few objects. "Almost there," Nulix said, before slamming down on the left breaks only. The ship went sideways in a jolting motion just as it reached the turn. "Catch up Xane!" Nulix yelled, as his ship swerved smoothly through the tight turn...

 

Xane figured that his ship wasn't as maneuverable as Nulix's. It wasn't extremely bulky either, so he figured that with each turn he didn't make, he'd just fire a couple of hots at the wall and blow them to pieces. Xane caught up with Nulix now, and saw a couple of other racers ahead of them. They were all getting caught by the next obstacle. A mine field.

 

"Here we go," Nulix muttered, looking at the mine field ahead. Nulix noticed that the sides of the track straight up in this area. "Time to fly," Nulix said, boosting his ship up the side of the track. Nulix flew off the rim off the track into the air, flying sideways over the mines. Nulix kept his ship afloat by using it's sky lifters for the two seconds he was allowed. Nulix smoothly sailed down towards the track, the mine field behind him...

 

The same stunt wouldn't be possible for Xane. Instead he took a risk and charged straight trough the mines. The sounds of the false explosions were heard behind him. To his surprise, the damage deduction for his vehicle was minimal due to his ships' specialized armor. Xane used his sky lifters to leap ahead of a racer in front of him and started to catch up with Nulix.

Catching, up with Nulix was one of the Brotherhood drivers that they had seen at the Bureau. Glancing at Nulix's vehicle for a second, he raced ahead. to the next obstacle, a rock slide. Several tumbling boulders raced down a hill in front of them.

 

Nulix drove through the rock slide, trying to avoid whatever came his way. "Almost done," Nulix muttered, dodging a few more rocks. Suddenly, a huge rock hit the side of his ship, causing him to swerve out of control. "Come on! Balance out! Balance out!" Nulix yelled, trying to exchange the power drive to the hit part of his ship. Nulix was hit by another passing ship colored red and black. Nulix flew out of the boulder field swerving uncontrollably. Nulix launched his ship to the side of the track, ramming it against the wall until it was steady. The problem was that most of the cars had past him while he did this. "Come on!" Nulix yelled, boosting his car back into the race...

 

"Gotta catch up, Nulix!" Xane shouted back, using the last of his ion ammo to blast through the boulders. Regulations stated that once you ran out of ion ammo, you had to wait a ten minutes before they recharge. Xane paused with a large group of other racers as he drove over the hill and saw the next obstacle....It was a lake. A wide lake. The rest of the track was on the other side, but no one seemed to have any idea how to get across...

 

The red and black driver boosted into the air at the lake, flying over it for just a second before he came crashing back down towards the water. As soon as the ship touched the water, the driver was back in the air, going across the lake like a pebble thrown across a river.

"I have an idea," Nulix muttered, driving towards the lake. As soon as he reached the edge of the water, Nulix boosted into the air, twirling as he did so. After a second, Nulix's ship began to fall face first towards the water below. Nulix began rapidly firing his turrets towards the water, the force of the large bullets coming out of the guns was enough to keep the lite ship airborne. Nulix landed on the other side of the lake, boosting down the continued track...

OOC: ...The force of bullets leaving a turret being enough force to keep a vehicle airborne is a stretch, I know... but hey, you need to suspend your imagination... that's all.
