The Ultimate Organization III

Xane awoke a bit after Nulix did. He yawned and got ready for the race. It wouldn't be another few hours before the race. Xane decided to hit the breakfast buffet first.

 

"HOOHA!" Nulix yelled.

 

"What?" Xane asked. "You ready for the race? And you went to that eye surgery thing? I guess it wasn't a trap after all..."

 

"Yeah!" Nulix replied in a hilarious tone...

 

"Right..." Xane said. "Look Mellodia told me to watch out for the Brotherhood in this race. She also said to look out for the U.P.A's 'surprise obstacle'. Whatever that is."

 

"Aint that something," Nulix commented in a whisper of a voice...

"Eyo Nulix! Eyo Xane!" Lexx yelled from across the way. "Your two ready for the big race?"

 

"Yeah," Xane nodded. "So, you hear of any new obstacles that might be added?"

 

Lexx shook his head, "No... I didn't hear about that... but I don't really follow these, uh, minor league races."

 

Xardius sat atop the garage, letting the cool wind blow through his hair.

Everyone's gone, he thought. One by one, they've disappeared. Vexneah, Darxess, Bellatrix...Geryl...One by one, we're being picked at, being chiseled away into nothingness...

He stared at his hands. Do we have a future? The four of us? Wing, Xane, Nulix, and I?

He shook his head. Sometimes...I wonder...

Pulling out his cell phone, he contacted the bank which held all of his money. The bank answered.

"It's Lionheart," he said, and he was immediately rerouted.

"Hello, Darius, how are you?" the man said on the other end.

"Busy," Xardius said. "How are things with the war?"

"It's nice to have backing such as yours," the man admitted. "We've managed to stay out of the most of it, though our world was hit pretty hard. Thanks to your help though, we remained intact."

"That's good to hear," Xardius said honestly, not only because all his money was held there. "I'm calling because I'd like to open several new accounts."

"Oh?" the man asked, sounding interested. "More money to add? I thought you were done making money."

"I am, I'd like to put some of my old cash into these new accounts," Xardius said.

"I see," the man said. "Giving credit to old friends?"

"Something like that," Xardius said, smiling. "Split up all of my money into..."

He counted. Geryl's definitely gone...Darxess is somewhere, Bellatrix too, Vexneah...who knows?

"Seven accounts," he said.

"All of it?" the man asked.

"Yes," Xardius said. "And send a notice to these numbers about how much money they've received, but not who it's from."

"I'm sure they'll guess," the man said dryly. "What are the numbers?"

Xardius fed them in, and the man acknowledged them.

"Thanks again, Darius," the man said, hanging up.

Xardius hung up the phone, and pocketed it.

"30 trillion each," he muttered. "That should probably be enough..."

All the UO member's phones beeped, the new message saying with a smiling face attached, "Congratulations. Your new account has been acknowledged and confirmed. Your account balance is now 30 trillion dollars. Thank you and have a nice day."

Scourge kept walking for a moment, then said, "You'll have to promise me, my friend, to lend me your power, just for a moment or two. Then I'll release you. Just don't get yourself caught again."

Xardius hopped down and headed for his new Dueling Dragons gummi. Climbing in, he roared up the dual engines and headed for the race track.

 

"Even though Brotherhood members are participating?" Xane asked. Then his cell phone rang. He quickly checked it and saw a text about some amount of money. He didn't have time to look into it, because he had to prepare for the race.

 

Nulix gasped, "Look at this! I have 30 trillion dollars!"

Lexx chuckled, "I have 30 trillion dollars as well. That's the Ulfire dollar from the Ulfire system, my home system actually. The money there is in different worth, but 30 trillion is about... three thousand Sora dollars, maybe."

OOC: ...Dk, I can't have Xardius be a... trillionaire. Because if the UO gets rich a lot of the character and story problems disappear. Many plots get abandoned...

 

"You gonna answer my question, Lexx?" Xane asked.

 

Lexx turned his attention back to Xane, "The Brotherhood's in this? Hmm... well, I have no power over the races so... I don't know, take it up with this worlds racing rep, he or she could do something about them..."

 

OOC: Don't worry, I got it covered. Think of this has a back-up security program. You can't access the money until much, much later. Besides, Xardius has been alive and adding to this account for over 1000 years. He's filthy rich...less so now...But still.

BIC: Xardius roared up. "Ready to race?"

 

OOC: Still... it takes away tension. Making last hand completely ridiculous solutions for every problem takes away drama, tension, suspense DK! SUSPENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BIC: "I am," Nulix said.

 

"Me too," Xane said. "Anyone know when the race will start?"

 

OOC: Meh. I relinquish. I'll keep this as a back-up...sometime...

I just have a question...

BIC: "I'll meet you over there, then," Xardius said, roaring away.

OOC: Just ignore the money part for now. (At least the message part).

 

OOC: SUSPENSE!!!!!!!!! And whats that?

BIC: "Alrighty then," Nulix said, "It starts in an hour, Xane."

 

"That's enough, time to get ready," Xane said, noticing Sellers approaching them.

"You guys test out your vehicles yesterday?" he asked.


"Uh-huh," Xane nodded.


"Good luck, then," Sellers nodded. "I'm no slouch either. Especially since my wife is coming to watch."


"Good luck, then," Xane said, as Sellers left and the U.P.A agent Pharell Titan approached. He was the current champion of the races in several circuits. One would wonder why he came down to one of the minor leagues.

 

OOC: It wasn't important (a race thing). I actually thought of the answer. I just forgot to delete that I had a question...

So let's race!
