The Ultimate Organization III

"The Ultimate Organization," Pharell greeted. "I suppose Lexx already told you of the U.P.A's offer. Good luck in the race," Pharell nodded, walking away.

Xane didn't really react, as he was still wary of the U.P.A. "Yeah, let's head to the tracks," Xane said.

 

"Hoha," Nulix said.

 

OOC: Enough pre-gag stuff. Just start the race Pirate. I can't even post anything because Xardius is at the race already...

 

After the hour was up, hundreds of drivers started heading to their gummi. Xane hopped in the Magma Phaser, and buckled up. All of the drivers lined their vehicles up at the starting line, waiting for the alarm to sound off. Three...Two...One!!! The race began!

OOC: Unfortunately, I have to go. Don't know if I'll be back or not, so look out for me. Nu;lix can handle the race. He can add some extra obstacles as well. Just don't finish it without me. I'll be back on either later tonight or tomorrow...

 

Wing felt the pull of his tracer twilight and he followed it. he was lead to Dark space Paranoids, and from the sound of it some kind of race.

he looked down at the track and saw Xardius climbing into a gummi.

"Xardius?" he said taking a seat.

Liam stepped back. "and how do you know we are brotherhood members?"

 

OOC: Ahem, sorry...Got pulled into a debate...I'm good at sticking my nose into random subjects...

BIC: Xardius nearly hit his head on the panel above. "Wing!? Whoa, dude, the race is starting!"

He hit the gas, and the Dueling Dragons roared forward, boosting forward quickly, though the gap between him and the leaders closed minimally.

"This is going to take a while to catch up, didn't have time to modify it completely," Xardius said. "So how's it going Wing?"

Tera Roth rubbed his nose. "I sniff 'em out."

"What about the soda?" Tyre asked.

 

"good" Wing said strapping into the seat. "So whats up with the UPA and contracts? I basically blew up the monitor when Lexx told me the deal...as they stole Vecked's body."

Liam bowed. "Well then, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Liam Lear."

Darkness began to emit invisibly from Liam's body, and into Tera Roth's. He began to plant his seed of destruction, manipulating Tera Roth's unconscious to think about the UPA and their messed up ways, he aslo implanted the idea to take care of the UPA.

"Nice to finally meet you all." He said with a smile

 

"The UPA wants us to do their dirty work, but I think it's just a cover-up for wanting to control us," Xardius said, whipping around a corner at too fast of speeds, causing his voice to strain as he did so. "They've been trying ever since we met them to get us under their wing. They're just trying a different tactic this time around."

Tera Roth cocked his head. "You feel that?"

Highwind smiled. "Darkness...You must be the supposed ex-Guardian of darkness..."

Tera Roth shook his head. "Boy, does he understand us..."

 

Brotherhood racers zoomed by Xane on the track. He was determined to cut them off at the first turn. In front of the Brotherhood racers was the U.P.A agent, Pharell Titan.

 

Xardius cut through the ranks like butter, his dual engines sucking in air and spitting them out in a fiery roar that sounded exactly how it was: full unharnessed power. Despite the unfinished customization, Xardius watched the gap between himself and the leaders close.

Coming up beside Xane, Xardius waved, then gave a signal that he'd distract the first Brotherhood to slip by.

Hoping that Xane would get the hint for a tag-team dueling power struggle that would leave him or Xane on top and free to win the race while the other held the Brotherhood and Pharell Titan at bay, Xardius rocketed forward.

The first Brotherhood gummi immediately tried to cut him off, but Xardius was too quick. His gummi darted around the bottom of the Brotherhood, coming up on the other side and slammed it in the rail.

Xardius held it there, waiting for Xane to make his move...

 

"Heyo!" Nulix yelled, flying above Xane and Xardius's heads. Nulix was followed by two other racers, one was the red and black driver from the training track. The other was someone who was clearly sponsored by Bubbledee Tubbs Bath equipment.

"Remember me!" Nulix yelled, immedeitly pushing the red driver into the wall...

 

Xardius smiled as the Brotherhood member tried vainly to push him off...

He waved to Nulix, who probably couldn't see him, but it was the thought that counted...

The Brotherhood driver flipped him off, and Xardius sent him through the rail.

"Go Xane!" he yelled.

 

The other Brotherhood officer was soon slowed down when Xane rushed in front of him and blocked his vision. The Brotherhood driver angrily, charged his ship at the Magma Phaser, causing Xane to put his ship's afterburners on full blast. The resulting flames singed the Brotherhood driver's vehicle.

Racing past Nulix was Venture Jr. in the Sky Tiger, followed quickly by Pharell Titan and the Falcon-22. The latter vehicle piloted by the U.O's friend, Sellers.

 

"Hmph," Xardius said, opening a communication to both Nulix's and Xane's vehicles. "This is taking too long. I'll take out the Brotherhood gummis, you guys focus on winning...if you can beat me once I'm done here that is..."

 

Nulix and the red driver attacked in perfect harmony. Going to the side of the track then back in the middle to hit the other, go to the side, come in for the hit. For the unfortunate Bubbledee Tubbs Bath equipment driver, this was a bad thing. The driver thought he could pass the two by driving in the middle, while they went to the side. The driver was crushed as the two ships rammed each other. The impact sent Nulix flying to the left, the red driver to the right, and whatever was left of the Bubbledee Tubbs driver down the middle. The Tubbs ship flew into another far behind Nulix, causing both the ships to explode.

Nulix swerved behind Xardius and Xane, trying to regain control over his vehicle. After a second of strong steering Nulix was back on the road, if not a little behind. Nulix looked at his monitor, there was a blue and gold Gummi coming up. The blue was classic U.P.A., and the gold was the gold of the Universal Racing League. On the front of the Gummi was the official Destiny Islands logo.

"Shouldn't a Destiny Islands racer be racing in Destiny Islands?" Nulix muttered, as the racer sped up...

 

Xardius roared forward, coming up underneath a Brotherhood member, and slamming into the engine, causing the back end to rear upwards and the Brotherhood member to accelerate quite quickly into the ground.

"Next!" Xardius grinned.

OOC: I'll be, um, unavailable for a time...

 

Xane's vehicle was on the tail of the black and red gummi. Minutes later he had caught up to Nulix. Opening his comm-link, Xane stated, "Look out...the first obstacle is right in front of us."

The obstacles set up for the main race were mostly different from the test track. They were all listed in the driver's manual found in every racer gummi. The first obstacle was a giant cliff that took the drivers from the track to an off road canyon. The drivers would have to make the best of their two second booster rule to survive.

 

Only two Brotherhood gummis remained. Xardius moved to take out the next one. As the gummis plummeted, Xardius roared down on top of the Brotherhood's gummi as the Brotherhood member skillfully used his boosters to dodge around cracks in the rock and to slow his descent. Resting his gummi on top, Xardius waited as the Brotherhood member tried to shake him off.

Suddenly, he slammed his boosters forward, blowing the Brotherhood gummi straight down into the earth, the explosion adding to Xardius' booster and sending him away from the closing ground and in hot pursuit of the gummis in the lead above him.

 

Nulix swallowed. "I'm ready," He said, not so much for the commlink but himself.

 

There it was. The canyon jump. Those who were wise would wait until they nearly hit the ground, then hit their boosters to leap over the pit of smoking vehicles below them. To the drivers that made it past the first obstacle, they were greeted by a barren landscape, full of more traps than they could have ever thought of. Fortunately the first one was familiar to those who went to the training session. It was the mine field.

Pharell was still in the lead followed by a Brotherhood Pilot, a driver from the Dark Pride Lands, The Sky Tiger, The Falcon-22, and Nulix. Xane wasn't too far behind and Xardius was on his way.
