The Ultimate Organization III

Nulix tried to dodge the Brotherhood drivers canons. A few hits and he would be out of the race, his ship just couldn't take it. Nulix swerved to avoid the drivers shots, which was causing him to go slower and slower. "This ain't gonna work," Nulix muttered, before turning his vehicle all the way around and shooting at the driver while driving backwards...

OOC: Edited because Pirate made me read his post wrong...

 

OOC: It's not Venture shooting...It's the Brotherhood Driver.


BIC: Venture was too far ahead to get hit by the Brotherhood member's weaponry. Xane's vehicle was skimmed and he was rocked back a bit. He was unharmed, but Nulix manged to pass him, along with the Brotherhood Driver.

 

Nulix turned forward again once he was out of ammo. Him and the Brotherhood driver had just past Xane...

 

OOC: How is it my fault that you read it wrong?

BIC: Xane sped his vehicle up trying to take the lead. The Brotherhood pilot had taken to trying to bump Nulix off of the canyon walls.

The U.P.A's big surprise obstacle was supposedly coming up. Xane wondered what it would be...

 

OOC: It just is...

BIC: Nulix tried to jump out of the Brotherhood driver's grind but was unable too. Nulix tried to swerve as much as he could, but it made no difference...

 

Leaping above the other drivers with his boosters was Pharell Titan. He had sprung back up from fifth place and was now driving vigorously.

"I'd be wary if I were you all," he said, speaking through the comm-link. "Our newest obstacle is about to activate."


"Obstacle?" Xane muttered to himself. "There's another one?"

 

The Brotherhood driver pushed Nulix until he was basically driving against the wall of the track's ridge. Nulix pressed down on his jumps and blasted the Brotherhood Driver into the opposite wall. "That's what I'm talkin' about!" Nulix yelled, speeding up.

"And with less than a quarter lap to go, only one obstacle stands between our drivers and victory," The announcer said...

 

OOC: Just make it simething rather important to the U.P.A plot...


BIC: The next obstacle was about to appear...

 

"The next and final obstacle is..." The announcer began, "The Molders Statue." On the ground, there was a huge pit that the track went over and around. A large hand made of black sand rose from the pit, ready to destroy any of the vehicles passing on the track...

"That's the Anti-Virus reverse experiment..." Lexx muttered from the stands, "Someone stop this race."

 

The Brotherhood driver smiled in his seat. He retreated back behind the other gummi, and began the process of trying to bump them into the giant hand. Pharell Titan was nowhere to be found...

 

The giant hand separated and scattered onto the track like an oil spill, only if the oil was trying to latch onto the ships. "Ah!" Nulix yelled, as the black sand attached itself to his tires...

 

Various drivers attempted to assist assisted Nulix when the black sand attempted to grab him, excluding the Brotherhood driver, who whizzed on ahead, launching a group of scattered missiles at the oter racers. Venture Jr, Xane, and the reappearing Pharell Titan all sped up to the black sand and charged their vehicles into it, releasing Nulix. Venture's vehicle was sent flying, though he managed to escape it. Xane's vehicle became damaged beyond repair. Pharell escaped, relatively unharmed.

Meanwhile, the Brotherhood member's cruel smirk faded when he turned around to see the black sand latching on to his vehicle. Soon only Nulix and Pharell remained in the lead.

 

Nulix and Pharell drove through the wheel, a large globe where the track went off the ground and twisted upside down. Nulix tried to land as many hits on Pharell as possible, which was no more then two or three.

"As our drivers exit the wheel, nothing but the long last stands between them and the finish," The announcer said.

Nulix exited the wheel steadily. The upside was that the finish line was in sight, no more turns or anything, just a long stretch of road. The downside was that Nulix's vehicle was practically falling apart, pieces flying off as he drove...

 

Fortunately for Nulix, Pharell's vehicle conveniently caught a flame. Probably since his left door had been leading over, scraping the road since his encounter with the black sand.

 

OOC: I'm going to be nasty right now...

BIC: Xardius roared in from above, slamming down and ripping forward at maximum speed. The finish line was closing...

"Nulix...you're not going to make it," Xardius said. "Pharell's going to win...Unless..."

Xardius smiled. "Unless you take both of us out. I don't mind losing...just this once...So here's what you do..."

"I'll block Pharell, then hit my right booster. I'll implode it, and reverse into Pharell. Hopefully, I'll be able to get myself and Wing out of the explosion, and your ship doesn't, er, fall apart..."

OOC: OK, so I wasn't nasty...

EDIT OOC: Face it, you all forgot about Xardius...

EDIT2: The plan still stands, despite Pirate's post...

 

Nulix and Pharell's ships both broke down at the same time. The difference was that Pharell's caught flame and Nulix's just decided not to work. Nulix's ship grinded down the way for a few seconds before a small explosion in the back of his ship blew it apart. The front of Nulix's ship went flying, bouncing of the ground until it came to a stop, landing on its front just a foot from the finish line. Nulix's safety harness came undone. He fell out of his ship and landed face first on the finish line...

 

OOC: Yeah, ok, just ignore my post...that works...I'm being nasty again...

BIC: Xardius pulled his gummi to a stop...having crossed it .25 of a second before Nulix.

"Hmm, never mind," he said. "I tried to stop..."

EDIT OOC: That sounds like I'm mad at everybody...I'm not...I'm kinda bummed right now, but I'm not mad...FYI

 

OOC: ... Dk wins the race even though he wasn't there for most of it... (Storms out angry).

BIC: The reporters and fans rushed out of the stands onto the finish line as the cars pulled in...

 

OOC: Not really my fault...(Well, about not being here, anyway...)

BIC: Xardius calmly disappeared before the crowd could get there (by which meant he sprinted from the field as fast as he could).

 

Xane ran to the finish line to congratulate his friends. Other racers who had abandoned their vehicles also ran to congratulate their fellow drivers on a good race. Well, almost all of the other drivers. The Brotherhood driver was slowly being dragged into the black sand...

Mellodia wandered up the stands to where Lexx was sitting.

"Lexx..Uh, Sir! The authorities still haven't figured out who it was that released the black sand..." she whispered.
