The Ultimate Organization III

"We have been studying the work of Organization thirteen carefully over the years," Kris explained, "They had some surprising daring tactics when it came to human... capability's."

Vecked raised an eyebrow at Kris. "Vecked," Mickey said, in a more serious tone. "We need your power... the problem is... we can't use that power with who you are now."

"Then who should I be," Vecked replied, more hostile then before. "Who you used to be," Mickey replied. "Not Vecked Flate, not Prince Vecked Flate. Not the man who felt entitled to a power no longer around, not the angry man who acted on emotion."

"Then who should I be," Vecked asked, standing up. "Yourself," Mickey replied. "You want me to be a pawn," Vecked replied, "You people want to take away who I am, my purpose... until I'm just purposeless, I need to be given a purpose, and that would be whatever you want me to do."

"And would you be more controllable then you are now?" Mickey asked, "A man with a purpose is all the more a pawn. They can be used, they can be bargained with. A man whose purpose is for the man trying to control to die is all the more powerful."

Vecked tried to think of a response. "I'm not happy with who I am..."

"Chasing a dream now impossible?" Mickey asked. Vecked nodded, "Can you make me forget somethings... but not others. Can you make me forget September, 2339 to... January, 2343?"

Mickey nodded, "Just for my own smarts, you want to forget the Virus System wars, right? Cause' you said you were only in Kingdom Hearts for a year, you said. 2342 to 2343, right?"

Vecked raised an eyebrow, "I've only read and heard about those wars. Jesus Christ, that war ends in January, lasts four years. A new war with the Dai Jee starts in early March, ends in June. Then we got a new war with the Brotherhood in September... ongoing. Can't these people last a month without fighting..."

"So you were in Kingdom Hearts for four years?" Mickey asked, ignoring most of what Vecked had just said. Vecked shook his head, "No... theres a bit of time displacement between Kingdom Hearts and the Systems..."

"Right..." Mickey said, before stretching a bit. "Well Vecked lets go to the lab..." Vecked stood up and sighed, "Make sure you don't change me... just what I remember."

Mickey smiled, "Don't you worry, Vecked Princeton, you'll be fine."

"And you are?" Niles asked. "Alyt Jadar," Alyt Jadar replied, stepping into the UO's ship. Niles raised an eyebrow as Alyt moved all her equipment and bags from her ship to the UO's. "You guys are after the Brotherhood this time, right?" Alyt asked, "No Knights, no U.P.A.? What about Tera? Vecked? You after those guys as well?"

Alyt looked at her things, before turning to the crew of the ship. "Wait... are there any UO members even here?"

"Xane was here a second ago, he left when you came though, went in the back," Niles explained.

Alyt muttered something under her breath, before looking at the people present. "Well this is pretty miserable," She said, "Hopefully some real UO members will come back soon..."

Vecked sat down in the chair. Mickey has escorted him to a nearby gummi ship, which was completely white inside. There were a few men and women in lab coats standing nearby as Vecked sat on a slanting chair attached to a large computer. "I don't want to remember what I'm chasing, Mickey. I don't want to remember what I can't have," Vecked whispered, thinking of Kingdom Hearts.

Mickey smiled as the lab workers moved towards the computer. "Don't worry, Vecked," Mickey replied, "You won't."

 

Xarkness looks at Alyt Jadar and after memorizing it says, "What do you want?"

 

Xane walked back into the front of the ship, yawning. "I felt kind of tired. What happened?" Xane asked, before noticing Alyt. "Alyt?" Xane asked. "What are you doing here?"

 

OOC: Before you read this, I promise I'll explain everything when I get the chance. But this is a one-post and run. I'll be back later (we're having a dinner over at the church in 40 minutes, so if you can catch me before I leave in 40 minutes...which isn't likely.)

BIC: The lights flickered above Mickey and Vecked, and then, quite suddenly, Mickey was slammed against the wall by an unknown force, pinned without a doubt. The wall cracked slightly as Mickey went unconscious.

The same power instantaneously pinned Vecked to the chair, though it left him conscious.

In that same instant, the dark-haired, dark-skinned, dark-eyed man was crouching over him, his feet planted on the arm-rests, his face inches from Vecked, a snarl written on his face.

"What do I have to do?" the man growled. "You can't forget your destiny, Vecked. I. Won't. Let you."

Raising his hand which was straight as an arrow, he slammed it into Vecked's chest, directly above the heart, plunging his hand in to the knuckles, then ripping it free. As the blood began pouring, some sort of power flicked it upwards, and the dark man began flitting the blood around them in symbols.

"Unlike Xardius, this is going to hurt," the man whispered, finishing the symbols, and placing his hand back over Vecked's hole. "Sorry about that."

The room went completely white, pain exploding inside Vecked's skull like an atomic bomb had detonated within his head, and the last thing Vecked saw before he blacked out was the man's hand, dripping blood, reaching up to shut his eyes...

Xardius caught Wraith as he began to fall.

"I...can't...die...yet..." Wraith gasped.

"I should let you," Xardius growled.

"Take...off...my mask..." Wriath wheezed.

Xardius shrugged, his fingers undoing the mask quickly, pulling it away. He froze, the mask falling to the floor.

"Now...you see..." Wraith gasped.

Xardius stared back at the mirror image of Wing, unable to believe what he saw.

"I...am him..." Wraith sighed, his body going limp, his eyes rolling back.

Xardius' spell rejuvenated him from the brink of death, but it took a long time for him to recover. Wraith slowly spun in insanity's darkness, eventually opening his eyes to find himself being carried.

"Where...?" he muttered.

Xardius set him down.

"We're following that Virus with Wing's body," Xardius growled.

"It's not important," Wraith said. "I am the new body."

"...What?" Xardius said, his head hurting.

"I am a copy of the original body," Wraith said, regaining strength as he stretched muscles. "A result of the incomplete process of Wing transforming into a Nobody. When you destroyed the Heartless, it shattered into two. One half became what Wing eventually fought and defeated, whereas the other half became me. I am simply a body on the wastes of time, with a mere fraction of Wing's soul within me."

"I...don't get it," Xardius said honestly.

"I didn't at first either," Wraith said. "But as Scourge taught me about Wing, I realized. Wing's body is under control by the Virus. It is being corrupted every instant now. Wing can never go back to his body. The Virus will have poisoned it."

He coughed and rubbed where the Virus Wing had stabbed him. "Inside his soul at the moment, Wing himself is preparing for this. He will attempt to defeat the Virus and fail. Instead, he will be guided by someone I do not know to another body. This is mine. My body will be his new sanctuary."

"What will happen to you?" Xardius asked.

"I suppose I'll just become another part of Wing's memories," Wraith said. "Another shelf in his brain. I, myself, will no longer exist as me. I will become part of my original self, like Coa before me."

Xardius sighed. "When will this happen?"

"Anytime," Wraith said. "The trick is defeating the Virus afterward."

Xardius' eyes darkened. "Leave that to me."

EDIT OOC: Sorry Pirate, I'll have to post when I get back. I'll be back within about an hour to an hour in a half, if you can remain on that long... :( (If Nulix comes it should be okay...)

 

Arriving inside a Brotherhood Gummi Ship, Tul Raijin went to report the information about the U.P.A plans to Sorion...

 

Vecked's eyes flickered open. Life was a blur. The sky was a blur. Was there a sky? Did the operation go through? Mickey said it would only take a second. Vecked felt pain in the back of his head. His left hand traced up his neck. There was blood. "Hell..." Vecked muttered, feeling something in the back of his scalp. Vecked pulled the obstructions from the back of his head and examined them. They were empty needles that were similar in design to throwing knives, just much smaller.

"Mickey was hit by... light," Vecked muttered, "So was I... I hit the back of the chair, the needles were on the back of the chair... they were about to inject me with it..."

Vecked stood up slowly, the world around him spinning. "I'm not feeling good at all..." Vecked muttered, stumbling forward a bit. Vecked then heard something. Footsteps. "No... no, no, I have to get out..." Vecked said, twitching his hands in a few different positions, sending out sparks of flame as he did. Once he was done, a small black smoke rose from the ground. Vecked jumped into the smoke, it disappeared as soon as he did.

Vecked flew to the ground. He was on the beach. The Destiny Islands beach, maybe in the Goldcoast's. Vecked looked around cautiously, before running toward the ocean. "I need to figure... figure something out," Vecked told himself, a habit he had when he was stressed.

"Wow... your still alive?" Alyt asked. "And I didn't know... I guess I'm here to help against the Brotherhood."

 

"Of course I'm still alive," Xane frowned. "I don't think I've seen you since we were all in Kingdom Hearts. But, weren't you working with Vecked a while back?"

 

"Oh... actually yeah," Alyt admitted. "You know about the... uh, the Destiny City bombings? And the Dark Midgar suicides? Well... I was involved with that, slightly. I owed Vecked a lot, and I had a lot to gain from it as well, so... that worked out..."

 

OOC *wonders if that was the plan for wraith all a long*


BIC:

Wing spun around and countered the Guardian's attack. The Dark Oathkeeper spun from his hands, and Wing was quick to place his blade to the Dark's throat.

"Game over."


The Dark began to laugh loudly, throwing his head back as he did.

"You dont get it do you? You must defeat your darkness, not just disarm and tell it to surrender!"

Wing gritted his teeth and hesitated, giving the dark time to summon his keyblade and slash Wing across the chest. Wing reeled back his hand covering the bleeding wound.

"I understand now." He said gasping for air. with one fell swoop, Wing threw the oathkeeper, the dark went to block, and did, but what he didnt expect was Wing to be right behind the oathkeeper, twilight spell in hand. The Guardian flew backwards, a gapping hole in his chest. Blood soaked the grass as he flew to his resting place ten feet in front of Wing.

The twilight in Wing's body began to heal him, and refresh him. He clsoed his eyes and sighed, when he reopened them He and Crissilia were back to the stain glass platforms.

"One down...countless others to go." He took a deep breath and jumped off the edge, landing on the next platform below. This one was embroidered with a scene of inverted Prism fighting a Darkside heartless.

"I remember this." He said looking over the Heartless at his feet. Crissilia cocked her head to the side.

"Surprized you don't, but then again you are a different Crissilia. during the fight, my twilight magic went haywire on me. I hurt Shadow and Rain, and nearly killed Dream. Jack Swanson, a knight at the time, told me it was a normal thing to happen when blessed with high profile magic at a young age. I was never able to explain what happened until just now. It wasn't twilight that i cast, it was darkness. The darkness must have found a way to escape my body, as if it needed to be released every so often. So it took the chance when I was casting my magic. The next time that happened was when I first joined the UO..."

He paused and the stain glass began to move, replaying the battle stopping as the darkness spell flew from Wing's hand. Wing walked over to where his image was displayed and reached down and touched the spell. When he pulled his hand back, Darkness surrounded it.

"What am I supposed to learn here...?" he asked studying his hand and the black purple mixture that surrounded it. A flash of light placed Wing and Crissilia in the middle of Cerina right in front of the fountain.

"Twilight falls."

Wing said with a smile. He looked down to see the darkness still around his hand. With a quick leap Wing was standing on top of the fountain he squatted down and placed the darkness onto the crystal he was standing on. The fountain accepted the spell and began to rumble.

Wing hopped down and watched as the square opened, swallowing the Fountain. Wing looked over to Crissilia and nodded. the two of the followed the fountain below the city, landing in the heart of Prism.

The Twilit Oathkeeper appeared in Wing's hand and began to glow, the fountain did as well, its crystals separated and formed a keyhole. Wing raised the keyblade and as he did Darkness began to pour from the keyhole.

The twilit oathkeeper began to glow white and turned into the original oathkeeper and began to emit light. The light from the oathkeeper mixed with the Darkness and created Twilight, locking the keyhole.

Wing felt the surge of energy as the twilight absorbed into his body, the oathkeeper returning to its twilight form. He closed his eyes and the two were back on the stain glass image, only it had changed to depict Inverted Prism standing in front of the fountain, a small keyhole outlined on the top of the tallest crystal.

"now that we've locked the Darkness away, it'll be easier to defeat."

Wing said with a smile as he approached the edge, readying himself for what could follow.

 

"You actually helped him out?" Xane asked. "I thought it was more crap the U.P.A's paper was spouting. Anyway, you're here now and we need all of the allies we can get," Xane said. "I wonder if we could somehow contact the other members...If they're still alive..."

 

"You think Dragoon will help us?" Alyt asked, "Or is he dead? Vecked said he was..."

OOC: This whole plot you and Dk got going on is crazy, Wing... in a good way.

 

"Yeah, he's dead," Xane said. "I killed him. It had to be done, though."

 

"Wow," Alyt replied, slightly shocked. "...Dragoon wasn't worth killing, was he? I mean, how different was the Knights from the UO in the end... god damn it, Xane..." Alyt muttered. "You think we can get Tera to help us out a bit?" Alyt asked after a few moments of silence, "He's not dead as well is he?"

 

"First of all," Xane started." Dragoon took over The World That Never Was and was trying to join up with Tul Raijin to take over the worlds. I went to stop him and we fought. I won and gave him a painless death. It wasn't a knights thing," Xane explained. "And the last time I saw Tera Roth was when we went to the Guardians' base. All of the Guardians have joined forces with us to stop the Brotherhood."

 

"And... whats a Guardian?" Alyt asked.

 

"You don't know what a guardian is?" Xane asked. "They're basically the highest rank of Knights. I'm surprised you don't know that. They include Tera Roth, Tyre, Highwind, the Jack and the Ace. Lot's of people."

 

Alyt shrugged, "Yeah... I was never all that into, you know, military ranks in the Knights and all that... didn't hold my interest. So... just for my own... databanks or whatever; did you guys actually kill those kids?"

 

"You honestly believe that crap?" Xane asked. "Of course we didn't kill any kids! Since when have you ever known us as psychos? It's all 'cause of the damn U.P.A...And by extension, the Brotherhood."

 

"Well, it seemed plausible enough for you guys," Alyt replied. "Anyway, lets get to work. Where are we headed?"

"Yes, please," Niles said, walking from another room, "Where are we heading, Xane?"
