The Ultimate Organization III

"Plausible? How do you figure that?" Xane asked. "We've done nothing but try and save the worlds. At least since I joined. I did hear about the deaths of all of those knights when the Organization was first started, but it was more self defense then. And, uh, I don't know. The Knights aren't here, so I don't know where the Brotherhood is headed...Maybe we can find one of them on the computer..." Xane said. After a few minutes of typing, he stated, "I've got one...His name's Ulian Echo..."

 

"Well, I think we can safely say that wasn't the only time the UO killed excessively," Alyt replied with a smile. "Alright... Ulian Echo? What does it say about him?"

 

OOC: Sorry. Had to eat.

BIC: "Not much. Says he was in Asgard around the same time. We were there...That's weird. Anyway, I set the ship on autopilot towards his location," Xane said. "So...what other times have the UO killed excessively, huh?"

 

"Final battle of the Knights, when Skinnar was after you guys, when you were fresh out of the Air Country, when you first joined, before you first joined, in Kingdom Hearts, during the Dai Jee war, after the Dai Jee war..." Alyt listed off the top of her head, "The list goes on, Xane... look, Xane. I know your a good guy, hell, I would say everyone in the UO are good people... but your not the heroes. Your far, far away from being the heroes of the world..."

 

"What? We were fighting all of that crazy Dreadnought division of knights, who were trying to wipe us out. And you expect people to not die in a war?" Xane said. "And besides, we all fought for reasons. Mostly out of self defense, or trying to save some town! That bull story of us killing kids after getting angry is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Besides, Dragoon is the only enemy I've killed so far. Besides heartless and various monsters like that."

OOC: Gotta go. At least for now. I won't be on until real late tommorow.

 

"Right," Alyt replied, backing off a little...

OOC: I'm back...finally...worst dinner of my life...

BIC: "Vecked," the dark-skinned man said, standing behind him on the beach.

Tera Roth's gummi ship ripped through the air.

Maria and Magna sat in the back of the ship.

Highwind and Tyre were with Patrick.

"It's almost like having the old team back together," Tera Roth said, stretching his fingers around the wheel.

Maria shrugged. "How old are you Tera?"

"Where did that come from?" Tera Roth asked, puzzled.

"Just curious," Maria said, with a slight smile.

"I'll be...28 this next month," Tera Roth said after a moment.

"You need to get married," Maria said.

Tera Roth rolled his eyes, and turned his focus back to the closing distance margin that was slowly counting down towards the one person who could perhaps fulfill that dream...

 

Vecked turned to the man, "...Who are you?" He asked slowly...

Alyt walked past Xane towards the map screen...

 

"I am power," the man said. "I am flame eternal. I am the Phoenix that has laid within you for a long time, Vecked...you were chosen by the flame a long time ago. Is that a satisfactory answer?"

Tera Roth exited out of hyperspace, nearly collided with the coupled ships and did a double-take.

"Was that it?" he asked.

Magna nodded, looking nauseous.

 

Alyt looked at the ship map, still slightly bitter that Xane and her couldn't get along. Ever since he had left the Knights he had become a slightly different person. Not a different person, just a person with different beliefs. And those beliefs were taking over his personality. Alyt sighed, before the two ships suddenly rocked. "What was that?" Alyt asked. "Another ship nearly hit us!" Niles said, running to the controls...

"What do you want with me..." Vecked asked slowly...

 

Tera Roth turned around, feeling slightly sheepish, and opened a communication to the ship.

"Er, um, is anyone in the Ultimate Organization or in Alyt, I mean named Alyt, I mean...Um.......................is Alyt there?"

"I want to grant you power," the man said. "In return, you become a Phoenix. You serve the flame."

He smiled slightly. "Although, I don't think we've ever forced anyone to do anything they don't want to. However, there is a sort of...code you have to follow. You were in serious danger of defying that code. I had to intervene."

 

Vecked's mind was collapsing on him, whatever was in those needles was causing him serious damage. "And... what happens if I go against this code, this law, then... what happens...?" Vecked asked...

"Tera?" Alyt's voice could be heard over the communication. "Who is this?" Niles asked.

 

"I can't help you," the man said. "You'll always have this power now that I've awakened it, but..."

He shook his head. "It's hard to say. Most people just live their lives."

He rubbed his temples. "This hurts...We need to complete the ritual."

He walked forward, and held out his hand. "You don't have to accept this...but..."

He held out his hand. "Will you?"

"Oh, good, you're there," Tera breathed a sigh of relief. "OK, I'm coming aboard."

He began docking.

 

"Get ready, we don't know who this freak might be," Niles warned the rest of the crew. "Shut up... who ever you are," Alyt snapped, "Its Tera Roth, nothing to worry about."

"Wait..." Niles paused, "Tera Roth?"

Vecked looked at the mans hand, then at the man. "...I will," Vecked replied with a slight smile...

 

Tera Roth stepped through the air lock, determined to look good when he saw Alyt again. Instead, he tripped on the small lip and fell on his face, and nearly got stepped on by Magna and Maria, who shook their heads and moved to the side.

Tera Roth got up, flushing.

"Uh, hello, you two," Tera Roth said. "It's been a long time...'specially you Niles."

BIC: The man nodded. "Then take my hand."

 

Vecked took the mans hand...

Alyt grinned as Tera got back up. "...Hi," She said with a smile. "Jesus Christ, Tera Roth!" Niles exclaimed, grabbing Tera's hand, "How long has it been!"

 

Kylee stood off to the side, her hands behind her back. So many people had joined the team in the pat twenty minutes she was a little overwhelmed.


"I hope Wing comes back soon..." She said under her breath. When she looked up she noticed Tera Roth looking right at her as if he had heard what she'd just said. She gave him a gentle smile.

"Hello." She waved and continued to look out the window, watching the worlds pass by.

 

OOC: Grah, I knew it didn't post. I finished posting, and the internet kicked me off. It was horrible.

BIC: Power surged through him, overcoming everything else. The man faded away quite suddenly as the power continued to surge. Flames burned from Vecked's body, slamming into the sand, creating scorch marks. A ring 5 feet around him was cleaned free of sand, the dirt cracking from the heat. Then quite suddenly, it was over. Vecked could feel the heat of power within him...

OOC: Continuing on...

BIC: Tera Roth shook Niles' hand. "Too long, Niles, since you almost thought I was some kind of crazy lunatic."

He walked up to Alyt, and smiled. "Hi. You look great, Alyt..."

 

Vecked looked at the sky, before collapsing on the ground...

"...Thanks. Whats been going on with you guys?" Alyt asked, "Who are those two?"

 

"Maria and Magna," Tera Roth said, motioning to each of them respectively. "They're ex-Guardians who have been working with me for a while now. Actually, they were a member of my original team when I was a Captain in the Enigmatic Knights but I'm sure you don't care about that."
